Chapter 220 It’s all your fault. You scared Peter Pettigrew away! (Pointing)

The Count had little objection to having the letter delivered at midnight.

"Because you're a nocturnal bird," Cohen said grumpily. "Don't pretend I'm taking advantage of you—what's the point of buying an owl if you don't use it to deliver messages?"

"I chat with you every day." The Earl said with confidence, "Can other pets do that?"

"Mr. Frondo," Cohen said.

"I don't believe it," said the Count. "Frando would bore you to death. You wouldn't want to chat with him."

"What I mean is, if you don't leave, I'll bring Mr. Frondo to Hogwarts." Cohen said expressionlessly, "Anyway, you're the one who's stayed in the Room of Requirement the longest."

……

Mr. Frando is really useful. After hearing this, the count immediately flew out with the letter.

The weekend was a bit tense because Banban was missing.

Because of the new cage Hermione bought, Ron rarely doubted Hermione.

"Scabbers might have just found another mouse," Fred reminded Ron as he searched the common room's woodpile for the eighth time. "He's a teenager now. You can't deny him the right to have babies."

"Scabbers is a male!" Ron said, sweating profusely. "He doesn't have to wait for the next day—"

"It might be more family-oriented," Cohen said. "Like the snake I have, it used to spend the whole day with its daughter curling around its head."

"Really?" Ron sat back in his armchair dejectedly.

"He'll come back," George said soothingly. "If he does get lost, we can give you a new one—eh? Has Coln seen Scabbers?"

"I remembered I need to ask Professor Lupin something about whether he has asked for leave for tomorrow's class." Cohen lied.

"Remember to let us know if you find out," Ron said. "I really can't stand this constant stream of bad news anymore - if Snape is still teaching the Defense Against the Dark Arts class next week, I'm going to skip it right away and stay there until Professor Lupin comes back..."

Cohen crawled out of the hole in the Gryffindor common room - he had just seen a familiar soul through the wall.

There is no soul with a soul strength of 28 points in Hogwarts. The professors have higher soul strength than that, and the students have lower soul strength than that. Only Sirius Black, who was devoured by Dementors for twelve years, has one.

It couldn't enter the Gryffindor common room in broad daylight, so it was probably waiting outside for Coln.

"Wang! Wang!"

As soon as Cohen went out, he heard the big black dog barking and was then hit hard by it.

"What are you doing!" Cohen growled.

But Sirius couldn't express anything except barking, and he bit Cohen's trouser leg and tried to drag Cohen somewhere else.

But anywhere else was definitely not safe, so Cohen took him to the Room of Requirement.

"You wouldn't risk being discovered and come to Hogwarts just to bump into me."

After closing the door to the Room of Requirement, Coin looked at Sirius suspiciously.

He had quickly transformed from the big dog back into a dirty human form.

"You said you'd bring Harry over next week!" Sirius rumbled. "How many weeks has it been now?"

"I mean the next Hogsmeade weekend. It was supposed to be this week, but there was a Quidditch match this week, so Hogsmeade weekend was cancelled – and you still went to watch it, didn't you?"

"That's another reason why I came to see you." Sirius rushed towards Cohen with rapid breathing and grabbed Cohen's collar - like a gangster.

However, considering that this guy used to be a school bully, Cohen was not surprised by this action.

Cohen dodged. "Aren't you a Dementor? Why did they attack Harry—he almost died!" Sirius demanded.

"Protecting students is Dumbledore's job," Cohen retorted, "I haven't seen you, the godfather, take action either."

"that is because……"

"And how could I have saved them? They were so noisy at the time, and I couldn't stop them even if I shouted," said Cohen. "Could I have turned into a Dementor and floated over to stop them, right under the noses of the whole school? Harry fainted the moment the Dementors appeared."

"..." Sirius' chest heaved, but he couldn't say any more.

"Put your place right, dog man."

"I don't have a nickname like that," snorted Sirius.

"Okay, you little bastard." Cohen had no intention of changing his words. "I hate it most when people put the blame on me. If I am responsible for the Dementors' mistakes, then are all of you wizards responsible for Voldemort's crimes? If you weren't Harry's godfather, I wouldn't be in the mood to help you now—"

"I'm sorry," Sirius said suddenly.

"?" Cohen didn't expect Sirius to slide to his knees so quickly.

"I said, I'm sorry." Sirius said through gritted teeth.

"You were possessed by Peter?" Cohen raised his eyebrows.

"Don't lump me in with that cowardly traitor." Sirius said angrily, "I admit my mistake. You have to bring Harry here and help me explain these things - I'm not very good at talking to people anymore... especially to him..."

Did he slide down at lightning speed just to get along harmoniously with Harry?

"Is it really necessary to have these sensational segments?" Cohen wanted to complain a few more times. He had just come up with dozens of rebuttals to Sirius's accusations. "I want to say a few more words..."

"Now that I'm here, can you bring Harry and the others over?" Sirius asked Cohen with a hunched back.

"No," Cohen said.

"Why?" Sirius asked in extreme confusion.

"Because Peter Pettigrew ran away," Cohen said confidently. "For some reason, Hermione's cat, Crookshanks, kept chasing him, as if someone was secretly urging him to chase Peter away..."

Facing Cohen's pointing and criticizing, Sirius remained silent.

Those who point fingers at others will eventually be pointed at by others. Sirius didn't dare to mention that it was Crookshanks who asked to capture Scabbers.

"I'll find him," Sirius said hoarsely.

"Want some good news?" Cohen asked.

"What good news?" Sirius looked at Cohen.

"I know who he's going to go after next," Cohen said with a crooked smile. "And I overheard their plans."

"Who?! What plan?" Sirius asked anxiously.

Of course it's about the plan to kidnap Harry after Christmas!
But what this thing said to Sirius seemed to be equivalent to what Voldemort knew - because Coin was not sure whether Voldemort would follow Peter Pettigrew to watch the battle. If Sirius knew the original plan, he would probably expose the fact that "Coin betrayed Voldemort" in front of Voldemort.

"Wait, you're too impatient. I can't tell you the plan now," Cohen said.

"You said exactly the same thing Dumbledore said to me before." Sirius said with great dissatisfaction.

"Then I can't tell you." Cohen nodded. "I trust Professor Dumbledore's judgment. You just keep me in the dark for now. I'll make my own arrangements after Christmas."
