Who let this Dementor into Hogwarts!

Chapter 262 Voldemort in Disguise

Chapter 262 Voldemort in Disguise
"Then I might as well just wait until everyone is dead."

Voldemort snorted coldly.
"I'm destined to fight Harry Potter—"

“But it’s obvious you can’t beat him right now—if he doesn’t use his wand,” Cohen said, stroking his chin as he revealed the truth.

"It's all because of that little phoenix tear you added!" Voldemort snarled. "But I will ultimately prevail—I will be the last one standing, Harry Potter cannot defeat me..."

"So what are you planning to do next?" Cohen asked. "Harry is currently in the Gryffindor common room, less than 500 meters from you—"

"..." Voldemort looked calmly at Cohen, his snake-like pupils seeming to say, "What nonsense are you talking about?"

Using this Muggle body to tie up Harry Potter? And still at Dumbledore's school?

"Do you still want this body?" Cohen asked. "If not, I can take it back—"

“I still have a use for this body… I need to get out of here first,” Voldemort said. “I’ll prepare for a while… and kidnap him again…”

“There should still be Death Eaters outside,” Cohen said. “And your henchmen?”

“From what I’ve heard over the years, some of my followers are still outside Azkaban,” Voldemort hissed dangerously. “I will go find them…”

"What if they find out your fighting ability is less than that of thin air?" Cohen asked, tilting his head. "Are your men that loyal?"

"Hmph," Voldemort said coldly, "They wouldn't dare."

Indeed, even though the Death Eaters knew that Voldemort had no magical abilities now, they didn't dare to attack him.

Who can guarantee that this is Voldemort's last life?

"Do you need a ride?" Cohen offered with great kindness. "Wouldn't going out like this just attract the attention of the Aurors from the Ministry of Magic? I can take you to the homes of those Death Eaters; I just learned Apparition last year."
-
Finally, Voldemort settled down at the home of Lucius Malfoy, the richest of the Death Eaters.

Cohen felt that the two must have had a karmic entanglement in their past lives. Even though Cohen had interfered so much, Voldemort's first thought was still him.

They arrived in Hogsmeade through a newly appeared tunnel in the Room of Requirement.

Cohen originally intended to have the Room of Requirement open its doors directly to Malfoy Manor, but it seemed that the room's capabilities only extended to Hogsmeade.

Therefore, the only option was to transit through Hogsmeade, where Cohen would take Voldemort and Apparate to Malfoy Manor—Apparition is not possible at Hogwarts.

When Lucius saw Cohen bring Voldemort to his house, he felt as if all his vital signs had vanished instantly—even his breathing had stopped.

“Master, my lord…” Lucius immediately bowed deeply to Voldemort, “I have been… I have been trying to find you…”

“Really? Lucius…” Voldemort said ominously, “But why have I heard some rumors? Rumors say that you were forced to become a Death Eater because of the Imperius Curse…”

“That’s because…because I need to stay outside of Azkaban—” Lucius immediately knelt on the ground, trembling as he said, “so I can provide you with intelligence—Cohen must have told you…”

Voldemort let out a sharp laugh.

“Stand up, Lucius,” Voldemort said. “Cohen did mention you to me…at least you still have a chance to live—to prove your worth with your loyalty.”

“I will, Master! I will!” Lucius practically pressed himself against the cold marble tiles of his house. “I will always be loyal to you.”

"You guys chat, I have to go back to school," Cohen said, completely out of character. "I haven't finished my homework this week..."

Voldemort gave Cohen a disapproving look, as if to remind Cohen that he had ruined the oppressive atmosphere he had just created.

Lucius didn't even dare to raise his head—Cohen's relationship with Voldemort must have warmed up by now, otherwise Voldemort would have already taken action against Cohen.

Moreover, it seems Cohen hasn't forgotten his promise to him, as he spoke a few good words about the Malfoy family to Voldemort...

All I can do now is wait, wait for Voldemort's new orders.

“I’ll stay here with you for a while.” Voldemort didn’t answer Cohen, turning to him in a commanding tone, “I’m giving you a chance to pay your debt…prove your loyalty to me, Lucius…”

“I will do anything, Master,” Lucius replied readily.

Cohen didn't continue observing the strange master-servant relationship. After all, Voldemort's body was Cohen's flesh puppet, so Cohen didn't need to stay by his side to monitor his every move.

It could even actively influence Voldemort's current behavior—however, this active influence is "one-time," because Voldemort will definitely choose to abandon this body once he realizes there is a problem with it.

The system message is only ringing now, as if there's a delay.

Cohen also opened the system panel after a long time. This "Animagus shape imitator" was not an object, but a label directly displayed on the panel.

Cohen Norton

Those special abilities that I hadn't paid much attention to before seem to have leveled up without me even noticing. Spirit shaping, emotion absorption, and Parsley have all reached the maximum level—but these things don't seem to have any particularly obvious use.

The only opportunity to level up seemed to be "using it more often." Cohen never used any techniques like the Basilisk's Gaze, so his level didn't increase.

What interests Cohen even more is this Animagus form—Cohen can choose one from Human, Nightmare, Basilisk, and Chimeramon.

The reason you can't choose a Dementor is simply because Cohen is currently a pure Dementor in terms of his soul, and doesn't need to transform.

Cohen's first choice was "Basilisk".

It wasn't for the basilisk's venom or anything—it was simply because of Sissoko.

If Sissoko could see Cohen transformed into the Basilisk, he would probably be a little happier.

After all, the people who created Cohen incorporated Sissoko's wife and children into the character...

Not long after Cohen finalized the first Animagus form imitation target, a notification popped up indicating the completion of another task.

3. Preventing Tom Riddle's servants from being freed

[1000 Goodwill Points, Animagus Form Imitation Device (Choose one of your bloodlines) has been issued]

Why is Peter's task taking so long to be completed?
However, the impact is not significant, as long as the rewards are not reduced.

Cohen chose Chimeramon as his second role model—it has many special abilities and is very large.

No one can resist the ability to "make themselves bigger".

After returning to Hogsmeade and going through the door in the stone wall to get back to Hogwarts, Cohen, who had been through a lot, decided to go have dinner.

“Peter Pettigrew has been executed,” Harry said to Cohen as he looked at the newspaper at the Gryffindor table.

“I thought there was no death penalty in the wizarding world…” Cohen took a sip of pumpkin juice. “What was the crime?”

“Frame war heroes and spread terrifying rumors,” Harry said. “Why isn’t there any news about Voldemort trying to resurrect himself?”

“Because most of the wizarding world is trying to convince themselves that Voldemort is truly dead,” Cohen replied. “Fudge doesn’t dare let that news get out.”

“But it’s the truth!” Harry said, bewildered. “What’s the point of covering it up?!”

“Shortsighted people are like that.” Cohen raised his eyebrows noncommittally. “Because he lacks the strategy and courage to fight Voldemort, and he also lacks the means to appease people’s hearts—Fudge is a competent scoundrel, but not a competent leader.”

“Coward,” Harry said through gritted teeth.

"How is Sirius now?" Hermione asked.

“A war hero… He was unjustly imprisoned in Azkaban for twelve years for his friends and godson…” Ron sighed. “There must be a lot of compensation for that.”

“It wasn’t mentioned in the newspapers,” Cohen shook his head. “But Sirius wrote me a letter saying he gave me a Second Class Order of Merlin and a large sum of gold—though Sirius said he wasn’t really short of gold.”

"Why are all the rich kids around me?!" Ron said in despair, covering his face.

"Sirius is still single," Cohen kindly reminded him.

“He could be my dad,” Ron said, pursing his lips.

"You mean you'd really be willing to be younger?" Harry's eyes widened.

"My Brother Covets My Godfather," how strange...

“That’s disgusting!” Ron said with a grimacing expression. “Just wait, one day I’ll be rich too—if all else fails, I’ll just find a rich woman.”

"Is money all you see, Ronald?" Hermione suddenly asked.

“Not really. If there’s a really pretty girl, I’d be willing to pay tens of thousands of Galleons for her…” Ron said wistfully, completely oblivious to the strange look in Hermione’s eyes.
-
After dinner, Cohen returned to the Room of Requirement and crawled into the box.

The surprise for Sissoko will be tonight—hopefully it won't have any strange reactions.

Cohen underwent his first transformation after entering the box.

He felt his body gradually expand and lengthen, dense dark green scales squeezing out of his body, and sharp fangs growing from his mouth.

The feeling of a snake...

It's a strange creature that looks like it has hands all over its body, but is stuffed into a long cloth bag and can only move forward by twisting through a layer of skin.

One more chapter is too late, will be posted at midnight.
