Who let this Dementor into Hogwarts!
Chapter 404 Phoenix Society
Chapter 404 Phoenix Society
"I learned it while playing board games..." Edward said, scratching his head.
"That board game was so realistic." Cohen didn't believe it at all, but every man who became the most useful minister in the history of the Ministry of Magic should have a cruel and ruthless past...
These should be added to "The Life and Secrets of Secretary Norton," artistic embellishment is perfectly acceptable.
The disposal of the body only required going as far as "moving the body into Cohen's box and cleaning the room where the body had been stored."
Because Cohen's box is full of animals that can automatically dispose of corpses. Just throw the corpse into Norber and his mother's cave, and it will disappear without a trace the next day.
As for whether it was eaten or burned to a crisp to be used as a heater for Xiaolong, that's hard to say.
After taking care of everything, Cohen and Edward went downstairs for breakfast.
With Dobby around, Edward was spared the trouble of getting up early in the morning.
"I'm going to Number Twelve Grimmauld Place later, do you want to come with me?" Cohen asked, eating a fried egg. "Dumbledore named the Order of the Phoenix there—"
“Dumbledore didn’t invite me, so I guess I won’t go,” Edward said. “He must have his own plans…”
"Alright then." Cohen swallowed the remaining half of the egg. "Hiccup~ I might stay there for a few more days. I'll write to you if anything happens."
"Just be back before the end of the month. I still need to go to Diagon Alley to buy new textbooks." Edward nodded. "Be careful on the road."
"Okay." Cohen had originally wanted to add that he was actually safer than the road outside, but in the end he simply said, "Okay."
This time, I didn't use magic or look for the Knight Bus to Cohen, London; instead, I chose the Muggle Bus.
Cohen clearly saw several wizards mixed in with the Muggles on the street—and wizards usually don't come to Privet Road.
The Faithful Charm concealed Edward and Rose, but Cohen, as the Secret Keeper, remained unprotected, which is why the Ministry of Magic is still trying to monitor him.
But this situation won't last long.
Voldemort has been resurrected, and Cohen's plan to overthrow the government is about to begin. This year is not only the year Crouch plans to seize power, but also the year Cohen plans to reshuffle the Ministry of Magic.
I can't let my Dementor brethren just wander the earth like this.
They followed me willingly.
I have no intention of going to war.
Why did you hand over the minister's letter of appointment?
After arriving in London by bus, Cohen took a taxi to Grimmauld Place.
After Dumbledore designated number 12 Grimmauld Place as the base of the Order of the Phoenix, it must have been protected with the Faithful Charm, and Harry's letter should have included Cohen among the Secret Keepers.
Between number 11 and number 13, a dilapidated door appeared, followed by filthy walls and gloomy windows—even after a year, Sirius still hadn't managed to clean it up.
Perhaps the house developed its own aesthetic sense due to prolonged exposure to magic, or perhaps some unsavory magical creatures have crawled into the cracks in the walls and are difficult to get rid of. Of course, we can't rule out the possibility that the dog-man is simply too lazy to do housework.
Cohen walked up the steps and pushed open the door. The situation inside was not much different from the last time he came, but there was obviously more "liveliness".
Some critical voices came from the far end of the hallway.
"You're all adults, but does that mean you have to use Apparition to go downstairs?!" Mrs. Weasley roared angrily. "Do you know how dangerous it is to use that spell when you're not fully awake?!"
“We’re awake, Mom,” someone said, their voice muffled by bread in their mouth, whether it was Fred or George.
“And we know exactly what’s going on at our destination,” the other twin said in the same muffled voice. “We won’t be sitting on someone’s head.”
"We can also help you clear the dishes quickly—"
"Oh no..."
Then, two sounds came from the room at the end of the hall, almost simultaneously.
"Snapped!"
The Weasley brothers must have Apparated upstairs.
"For God's sake, even this trivial matter requires a magic wand..." Mrs. Weasley muttered to herself in the kitchen.
Cohen wasn't sure if going in now was a good idea, because it sounded like Fred and George had messed up something in the kitchen.
Before the Apparition explosion, Cohen clearly heard the sound of a plate shattering and some kind of sauce spilling onto the floor.
But before Cohen could push open the door, it opened by itself, and Mrs. Weasley, carrying a plate of breakfast bread, nearly bumped into Cohen.
"Oh—are you alright? I didn't notice anyone outside the door—" Mrs. Weasley quickly shifted her weight to the side to prevent the plate from hitting Cohen.
Once she had steadyed the plate and realized that she had almost bumped into Cohen, a warm smile immediately spread across her face.
“Cohen! It’s so good to see you!” She gave Cohen a hug. “Harry and Ron said they invited you over yesterday—because Dumbledore said you just got home yesterday… You’ve gotten so thin, you’re almost as thin as Harry! You need to eat more. Have you had breakfast? There’s bread and fried eggs here, and you can add some ketchup or cheese if you want…”
“I already ate before I came, thank you, Mrs. Weasley.” Cohen politely made way for Mrs. Weasley so she could carry her plate to the living room.
"Harry and the others will be downstairs for dinner soon. You can sit here in the living room for a while. I'll get you some drinks and desserts later. Ron said you really like desserts..." Mrs. Weasley said to Cohen as she walked into the living room. "How was your trip in Greece? I heard that the wizards there are a bit eccentric, but the scenery is beautiful, and there are many wizarding relics..."
In less than a minute, Mrs. Weasley had instantly transported Cohen into a casual, conversational atmosphere. All the plans Cohen had conceived on the way there regarding the Ministry of Magic and Voldemort were suddenly forgotten. For the rest of the time, Cohen answered questions about his travel experiences and the ancient ruins of Greece, while Mrs. Weasley listened with sparkling eyes.
“Arthur and I almost went to Greece for our honeymoon,” Mrs. Weasley said nostalgically. “But we ended up choosing Romania instead, and once we got there, Arthur and I realized that neither of us was actually interested in dragons…”
"Actually, most of the tour packages in Greece involve seeing magical creatures..." Cohen scratched his head, "like griffins and golden sheep..."
"As long as you have fun on your trip, that's all that matters. What would you like to drink? Milk? Pumpkin juice? Tea?" Mrs. Weasley asked.
