Who let this Dementor into Hogwarts!

Chapter 455 To tame others, one must risk getting hurt.

A goat biting a snake sounds strange, but it makes sense if it were a chimera fighting two heads at once...

"But how did you manage to bite the tail from the top?" Cohen asked, somewhat curiously.

"I can do it like this—"

The goat grabbed the tail of the water snake coiled on its back with an exaggerated head-turning gesture.

[Aww!] The water snake hissed angrily from its tail.

The goat seemed to have a strange sense of novelty about doing something it wouldn't normally do.

"That neck is amazing," Cohen said admiringly.

Carlton didn't send any more messages until dinner.

Cohen felt that there was one less thing to do to relieve boredom during the holiday.

If nothing unexpected happens, the accident should have already occurred.

That stubborn girl may have lost her life when the connection was lost that morning. Goat was right; happy endings are often painful. It's just that Cohen didn't expect the end of the series to come so soon.

It's like a newly bought bird suddenly choking to death on its food.

After the dinner, Cohen returned to his dormitory.

Chimera took the little ones back to the box; the little ones insisted on sleeping next to the old water snake for comfort.

The old serpent monster wanted to stay in the secret chamber for a few more days, whether to avoid the mischievous little serpent monster or because it truly felt attached to the place where it had slept for over a thousand years.

Cohen had originally intended to go to bed early, but he glanced at the stone slab before falling asleep.

There's a new line written on it.

Are you really Cohen Norton?

The handwriting is no different from before.

[You asked?] Cohen wrote.

"My brother said Cohen Norton is a terrifying monster," Carlton wrote. "He's killed many people and wants to destroy the world—just like the Mysterious Man."

[To clarify for the mysterious figure, he will not destroy the world.] Cohen wrote somewhat nervously, [He just wants to rule the world.]

You haven't answered my question yet.

"How am I supposed to answer that? If I said I'm Cohen Norton, but I don't want to destroy the world, would you believe me?" Cohen wrote.

"I don't think you're the kind of person who would destroy the world, otherwise you wouldn't be friends with Ginny, and you wouldn't write to me," Carlton continued. "My brother and the others might have misunderstood you, and besides, you're still at Hogwarts. How could a student destroy the world?"

[It sounds absurd, but some people think that way and work towards it, like ruining my happy life, making me smash the whole world in a fit of rage or something.] Cohen wrote a sentence, thought for a moment, and then added, ["These people" are the Silver Key.]

Cohen originally intended to include the Ministry of Magic, but considering that the Ministry of Magic is currently undergoing a change of ministers and the next one might be Edward, he decided not to add it.

"My brother would never want to destroy the world," Carlton wrote, expressing his deep trust in her brother.

[Possibly] Cohen wrote, ["I also know someone in Silver Key who was a mole; he was the younger brother, and indeed he was a younger brother."]

[My brother also said you're a Dementor, very dangerous] Carlton wrote, as if he hesitated for a moment, [but I've read the description of Dementors in The Quibbler, they probably can't write or talk].

Those who sing dissent will have their moment in this lifetime.

Cohen can't forget Mr. Lovegood's article, "Are Dementors Really Evil Creatures? The Good and the Good Under the Cloak..."

"I'm a half-Dementor, with some other fantastical creature blood mixed in," Cohen wrote, "but that doesn't stop me from wanting to be a good person."

"Won't other kids bully you?" Carlton wrote. "The village kids used to bully me a lot because I was different from them."

What about Ariana's storyline?

It's hard to imagine anyone resisting telling Dumbledore about this. "I'm in so much danger, and nobody dares to bully me? I'm the one bullying others," Cohen wrote. "Are those kids who bullied you still around? Soon a white-bearded old man will come and teach them a lesson."

"I don't know, I haven't seen them for many years," Carlton wrote. "My brother said they moved away."

It's also possible that they moved to the graveyard. How could the older brother tolerate his younger sister being bullied?

Just like Dumbledore's father was imprisoned in Azkaban for disciplining the Muggle kids who bullied Ariana.

However, Carlton's brother seems to have escaped some of the punishment.

Carlton took some time to write the next sentence.

"Is it true that you can cure my illness?"

"Of course it's true," Cohen wrote. "I'm very skilled at it; I've done it many times."

"You're starting to sound like you're lying to me. I haven't even told you what the illness is yet," Carlton wrote.

"This method isn't applicable to everyone who's dead," Cohen wrote.

What method?

"I can extract your soul and put it into another body," Cohen wrote. "That way, everything about the original body will have nothing to do with you—don't worry, the new body will be made to look almost exactly like the original."

[Ding! Goodwill value +100]
[Note: If I had known online dating could make you a better person, I should have installed Facebook on my system.]
Installing Twitter and Pornhub won't help.

Cohen was quite dissatisfied with the system's perception that he was a little rascal.

It was just Christmas and I had nothing else to do.

"That sounds pretty wicked, I think I'll pass..." Carlton wrote, adding many ellipses.

[What's evil about it? That's how surgery is done. They cut the body open, take out something important, fix it, and then put it back in,] Cohen wrote. [Aren't the black magic you've learned even more evil? Like rotting human skin, causing someone to bleed into shock, or something like that.]

"I've never used it on anyone," Carlton wrote. "And I haven't learned much about it; they told me these spells could get rid of cockroaches and rats in the house."

[That's definitely not so "black" anymore] Cohen wrote, [So you don't want to heal your leg, is that it?]

"That sounds terrible, I need to think about it," Carlton wrote. "And I'll ask my brother too."

"I still don't recommend you ask your brother," Cohen wrote, adding, "Many of the people at the Silver Key are crazy."

My brother isn't crazy.

"What's his name?" Cohen wrote. "I can talk to him."

Miguel Carlton wrote, "Should I give him the slate?"

[Put the stone slab under your door so your brother can pick it up when he opens the door,] Cohen wrote. [Pretend I never talked to you about this, and that someone just slipped the slab in.]

"Okay," Carlton wrote.

The chat ends.

A short while later, Cohen erased all the writing on it.

Cohen tossed the slate to the foot of the bed and lay back down in bed.

First, let's confirm whether Miguel is a conservative or a radical, or perhaps a member of the "give up" camp.

Then we can consider other things.

After all, all that could be seen in the crystal ball was a gray-haired figure; it was impossible to tell whether it was a man or a woman in such a dark environment.

It's also possible that Miguel was hung up there...
