Chapter 468 My Terrorist Acts and My Minister Father
In less than half an hour, they arrived outside the castle with Cohen's trunk. The sky had just darkened and the moon was already high in the sky.

At the edge of the Forbidden Forest, the Chimera Beast was released by Cohen.

"That sounds a bit like something my dad did," said the water snake tail.

"Pretty much," Cohen said.

"What is it?" Harry asked as he climbed onto the chimera.

"Blow up the Ministry of Magic." Cohen said in a very ordinary tone.

“We have to hurry, we can’t let anyone else see,” Hermione said nervously. “Harry, you don’t need to hold your wand while flying. It will be cold when you fly, and the wand might fall because you can’t hold it properly.”

It's easy for a chimera to carry four people; two people can sit on the back of the lion's neck alone.

After takeoff, the cold winds of the Scottish Highlands began to whip their faces relentlessly, and they had to bury their faces behind the fur of lions or goats to feel a little better.

"Breath in fire." Cohen held out a bamboo skewer with a fish stuck in it to the lion's face.

"call!"

The water snake paused in mid-air, and the lion turned its head and breathed fire at it, then growled, trying to get Cohen to give it the grilled fish.

But Cohen withdrew his hand.

"I'll give you the next one, I need to fill my stomach first." The flight continued, and Cohen started sprinkling seasonings on top.

"Cohen, what are you doing?" Ron asked in a muffled voice from behind the goat, smelling the food.

"Let's grill something to eat. How are we going to fight later if we don't eat dinner?" Cohen said. "Do you want some? Old Water Snake gave me a few before I left."

Harry didn't have much of an appetite, but Hermione and Ron each took one, and the remaining three Cohens gave them all to the lion, otherwise they would have turned into some kind of sulfurous saliva waterfall hanging from the sky.

It's hard to imagine that they were actually going to "rescue people" and "confront Voldemort head-on."

The water snake's tail propelled it at a high hovering speed, and soon they could see the lights of London.

After landing, Cohen urged the invisible chimera to return to the box, and Harry and the others crawled into the telephone booth Ron pointed out, which was the Ministry of Magic's guest entrance.

“Actually, we can help,” the goat said. “Letting you go out into danger alone might not be a good choice.”

“He’s just a crazy old man who throws out death curses randomly,” Cohen said. “I’m fine.”

"Roar..." the lion growled softly.

“The lion means he will tear the one who cast the killing curse on you to pieces,” the goat explained. “That curse will make us suffer.”

"But you won't die?"

Cohen muttered, "It seems there's a reason why the wizards have no record of killing Chimera Beasts..."

"Then you guys stay hidden and keep watch nearby. If things get out of hand, step in and take care of it—you know, if those Death Eaters knew I was going to deal with a Chimera, they might not even dare to step into the Ministry of Magic."

"Cohen! Ron has figured it out! Hurry up, it's about to start!" Harry urged from inside the phone booth.

“Come in first, then come out after you’ve entered the Ministry of Magic,” Cohen said.

After closing the box, Cohen and Harry went into the phone booth together.

Ron dialed the dial a few times.

"Welcome to the Ministry of Magic. Please state your name and the purpose of your visit," a cold female voice rang out.

“Harry Potter, Korn Norton, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger,” Harry quickly rattled off the names, then glanced at Korn when he was about to say he was there to run some errands.

“Here to rescue someone,” Cohen said, helping him out. “Please take the badge and pin it to the front of your clothes,” the female voice said. “Guests of the Ministry of Magic, you need to be checked at the security checkpoint and register your wand. The security checkpoint is located at the far end of the main hall.”

Four badges popped out, each bearing their name and the words "Rescue Hero".

“I’m going to take this to comic conventions from now on,” Cohen said. “Then I’ll wear a wizard’s robe and pretend I’m a wizard.”

“But you’re a wizard, aren’t you?” Ron asked, puzzled. “Why pretend? And what’s a comic convention?”

“A gathering of novels and comics,” Hermione said. “Wait—why isn’t this phone booth moving?”

Just as Hermione was wondering what was going on, the phone booth suddenly seemed to lose its weight and plummeted rapidly. Fortunately, they didn't crash into the top of the phone booth due to inertia.

After the door to the phone booth was opened, they saw the lobby of the Ministry of Magic.

A wide underground passageway, the marble floor barely reflected the light due to the dim environment, and the fireplaces on both sides were devoid of their usual green flames.

There's nobody here.

"Fluorescent light." Cohen lit up the tip of his wand.

“It certainly looks pretty empty,” Ron said. “Harry might be right…”

“That’s even more dangerous.” Hermione drew her wand, biting her lip. “Something’s not right. There should be someone on duty at the Ministry of Magic, right?”

“The person on duty today is Augustus Lukwood,” Cohen said.

He pointed with the tip of his glowing wand to the wand checkpoint not far away, where a sign hung behind it indicating the staff on duty that day.

"What's wrong with this person?" Hermione asked.

“He’s a Death Eater,” Cohen and Harry said almost simultaneously.

“That explains it very well,” Cohen said, shrugging.

“Let’s hurry,” Harry urged. “We don’t need to test wands anymore… Do we need to take the elevator to the Department of Mysteries?”

“Take the elevator to the bottom floor.” Ron’s voice trembled slightly. “Don’t you feel like something is watching us?”

Of course you'd feel that way, because Cohen just released the Chimera Beast.

“You all go down first. I’ll leave some detection spells up here so we’ll know when someone comes,” Cohen said.

After they took the elevator down, Cohen left some detection magic in the lobby so that he would know immediately when others came in—this way he could know when to delay Voldemort's arrival.

After all, Edward couldn't possibly hide the fact that Voldemort had been resurrected. Letting Voldemort appear in front of more people would allow Edward to better take those wartime measures.

Then, after the elevator came up, Cohen squeezed in with Chimeramon.

Finally having the chance to squeeze into a small room with Cohen, the lion began to lick Cohen's hair without restraint.

"Behave yourself!" Cohen pressed his head against the lion's jaw, then used a cleansing spell to remove the sulfurous saliva from his head.

When the elevator arrived at the Department of Mysteries floor, Cohen saw Harry and the others waiting outside.

"What's next?" Cohen asked Harry.

“I remember it was a black door,” Harry said. “Let’s go straight ahead…”

“Identifying this might be a bit difficult,” Ron said. “All the doors here are black.”
