Chapter 495 All Six People Are Captured

After laughing for a while, Edward decided to settle accounts with Cohen one by one.

"What did you promise me at noon?" Edward asked, grabbing Cohen by the back of his collar.

“Go home,” Cohen said, blinking his innocent eyes.

"Where are you now?"

“Home,” Cohen said matter-of-factly. “Dumbledore said that home is where your family is.”

"You—" Edward was rendered speechless by Cohen's evasive maneuver.

“That makes sense,” Arnold said, leaning against the door like a spectator.

"Shut up, I'll talk to you about bringing my son to the nightclub later."

"Your son forced me to come!" Arnold's eyes widened. "Don't you believe who I am?"

"How did he force you?" Edward asked. "By force?"

Arnold immediately fell silent, his eyes darting left and right, looking like a guilty thief.

Edward didn't believe for a second that Cohen would lay a hand on Arnold—he must have caught Arnold doing something wrong, and he couldn't let Edward know about it, which was why Arnold had suddenly fallen silent.

“So, you won’t blame us for coming to the nightclub, and I won’t tell Mom that you made a date with the most expensive witch here…” Cohen said, repeating his old trick.

“Add another week of vacation,” Arnold tried to add leverage.

"I'd rather have you work overtime to finish that damn crucible leak problem than give me a holiday," Edward said. "I might consider Cohen's."

“That makes sense.” Cohen nodded. “Crucible leakage is indeed a very serious problem.”

“I was just speaking up for you!” Arnold said. “Have some conscience—”

“I’m a Dementor, and Dementors have no conscience,” Cohen said logically. “Besides, you brought…”

Suddenly, Cohen stopped talking.

"What's wrong?" Edward noticed that Cohen's eyes suddenly seemed unfocused and sensed something was amiss.

"Had your conscience been awakened?" Arnold asked.

"No, stop talking nonsense—I have a creepy feeling."

"Silver key?" Edward drew his wand and cautiously cast protective spells around the room.

“What’s even scarier is that I saw my mother getting closer,” Cohen said. “There was another woman next to her, redheaded, wearing an apron.”

"Damn, my wife." Arnold was immediately jolted.

“I must Apparate home right now and pretend I’m already home.” Cohen drew his wand—but Edward pressed it down.

“Why—at this point, don’t worry about that Regulations on the Management of Minors—” Cohen said.

“It’s too late to leave now,” Arnold said despairingly. “Briana will tell them.”

“Wasn’t it a Ministry of Magic arrest mission?” Cohen said. “No—oh—it’s over, and you did make an appointment with a shirtless woman without telling the landlady beforehand…”

Cohen looked at Edward with pity in his eyes.

"Plus what happened when you got home late last night... tsk tsk tsk, you're doomed."

“Oh no… wait, I have an idea—” Edward’s eyes suddenly lit up. “Quick, Arnold, give me a punch.”

"Huh?" Arnold was taken aback for a moment.

"Don't hesitate, pretend we're here to chase a criminal, but then make the move—"

Before Edward could finish speaking, Arnold, eager to test his skills, threw a punch at Edward's face.

boom--

Edward lay down on his back on the bed.

"Phew—can I throw another punch?" Arnold asked. Cohen couldn't bear to see his nosebleed flowing, so he used a spell to stop the bleeding, but the bloodstains were still there, so he did look quite battered from the fight.

“Be gentle…”

Edward finished the last half of his sentence in a daze, then tilted his head and remained motionless.

However, Cohen noticed that Edward's eyes were still moving under his eyelids, indicating that Edward was faking unconsciousness.

So what happens next is pretty obvious...

"No, are you okay?"

Seeing that Edward hadn't gotten up for a while, Arnold thought he had hit him too hard and went over to bend down to check on Edward's condition.

But before he could even see it clearly, Edward's fist came hurtling towards his face.

"Ouch—" Arnold covered his nose and took several steps back, now he also had a bit of blood in his nose. "Goodness, you hit me harder than I did..."

"Let's fight! Let's fight!" Cohen urged.

Edward, who had thrown a punch back, stretched his shoulders and revealed a very satisfied smile.

"Didn't you know I was slacking off at work?"

boom--

Arnold then punched Edward again.

"Did you think I didn't know you specially arranged for me to work overtime with you last month?" Arnold said, equally relieved.

The two men's punches were strange; they threw powerful punches every time, yet consistently avoided hitting the vital points.

The first few punches were somewhat justified, but as they continued to fight back and forth, they quickly stopped giving reasons and each punch was driven by personal grudges.

finally--

"Alright, alright—that should be enough to get him into a sorry state..." Edward called out just as the number of punches was about to land.

“That’s not fair, I haven’t even retaliated against the punch you threw at me…” Arnold covered his nose with one hand, and listlessly lowered the fist he had raised with the other.

dong dong dong-

There was a knock at the door.

Both of them looked at Cohen.

“Not Mom,” Cohen said.

"Come in," Edward said, then rubbed his bruised right cheek.

The young witch from the next room opened the door; she had put her clothes back on, though she was still quite scantily clad.

“Um…Minister?” the young witch said cautiously. “Those three criminals have already passed out, but we heard you inside…emmm…”

“A fight,” Edward said. “A terrorist just broke in—yes, it’s him.”

He pointed to Cohen lying on the bed.

The current Cohen still has a mustache, and he does look somewhat different from "Cohen".

“Me?” Cohen pointed to himself.

The young witch covered her mouth and took a step back in fear.
“It’s alright, we put a confusion charm on him, he thinks he’s a child now,” Edward said. “You can leave the other three there for now, I’ll go get them later.”

"Oh, yes, Minister..." The young witch hurriedly ran away from the door, calling out the names of the other two witches.

Before Edward and the others could stand up, two other women rushed to the spot where the young witch had been standing.

“I heard Edward’s voice. My son and Arnold should be with him—”

Rose was talking to Mrs. Pisgood when she arrived at the door of the room and was startled by what she saw inside.
