Who let this Dementor into Hogwarts!

Chapter 537 I really want to be murdered again.
"You planted a surveillance camera on me?!"
Cohen looked at Edward, whose coat was loose and whose sleeves had oil stains, in shock.
"I heard you were murdered!" Edward immediately grabbed Cohen, frantically searching the back of his head for the wound. "Where—is it here?"
“No, that’s a crease on the back of my head.” Cohen slipped out of Edward’s hand. “It’s too late, the wound has already healed on its own. If you had come earlier, you might have been able to see the complete wound—”
"Who did this?" Edward asked Dumbledore.
“A student being threatened by Voldemort,” Dumbledore said. “Cohen and I intend to help him—”
"The way to help is to let Cohen be murdered by him?" Edward said somewhat coldly. "Then I need—"
“Calm down, the person who will succeed hasn’t been born yet.” Cohen tugged at Edward’s sleeve. “Did you go out for a late-night snack with Arnold again?”
“That’s not important—I only found out from Evra because there happened to be a portrait of him left behind after donating to the Ministry of Magic—but what will happen when your mother finds out…” Edward said.
“This is my mistake,” Dumbledore said. “I must apologize to you. I never intended for Cohen to be the target of murder. I thought it would be me.”
"You?" Edward was even more confused now. "But—at this time?"
“If it could save another uncorrupted soul, I would do it,” Dumbledore said. “Fortunately, Cohen was not in any danger because of my misjudgment…”
“That would be for the best,” Edward said, then looked at Cohen and patted the back of his head. “Cohen, are you really okay?”
“It’s nothing,” Cohen said. “Your problem is bigger than mine—you need to figure out how to explain it to your mother.”
“This… well, I’ll do it—but Dumbledore, I don’t want this to happen again.” Edward looked at Dumbledore. “You know I’ve always respected you and trusted you—but if Cohen does it again because of…”
“It will never happen again,” Dumbledore said. “I can assure you.”
“And what you just said about wanting to be murdered…” Edward frowned.
“A plan that will not harm anyone,” Dumbledore said. “Edward, I am truly sorry for tonight’s incident.”
“Alright…” Edward looked at Dumbledore with a serious expression, then at Cohen.
He gave Cohen a look, signaling that Cohen should secretly write down the details and send them to him.
Cohen moved his eyebrows up and down, indicating that he agreed.
After Edward left the fireplace.
“Actually, this has nothing to do with you,” Cohen said. “Usually, when a student dies in a Muggle school, the school just gives some compensation and suppresses the news…”
“No, Cohen,” Dumbledore said. “You are in my school, and it is my responsibility to protect your safety.”
“It’s safe. Not a single Dementor was harmed tonight,” Cohen said.
“Leave the rest to Severus and me,” Dumbledore said. “As I promised Edward, you will not be ‘murdered’ again.”
"It depends on how you handle it." Cohen gestured with his chin. "Actually, if it doesn't get back to Edward and the others, I quite like the feeling of being publicly murdered but then jumping around and scaring them the next second..."

Hogwarts is a place where secrets are hard to keep. Cohen felt like less than fifteen minutes had passed since he was stabbed, yet the whole school seemed to know he'd been murdered. "Cohen! Seamus said your head was chopped off!"
“I’m going to cut his head off,” Cohen said dryly.
“Cohen—Neville said you bled a lot—”
"There's only a little bit left, and it'll be gone in no time. Why don't you poke it again? That way you can see what it looks like when the back of a person's head is pierced open again."
“Cohen—”
“Cohen…”
"Alright, alright, I've shown you all." Finally, Cohen impatiently shoved the knife back into the back of his head, then pulled it out so that the surrounding Gryffindor students would disperse.
When the dark wound was revealed, everyone around was stunned—and several younger students immediately fled to their dormitories in fear.
Now no one bothers me anymore, asking, "Why do you look like nothing happened?"
“Cohen, this is too…” Hermione’s features scrunched up, “It’s too bloody.”
“Not a single drop of blood has flowed out,” Cohen said. “This is liquid curse, not blood—Ron, don’t touch the knife, it hasn’t evaporated yet.”
"What will happen if you touch it?" Ron asked Cohen curiously, leaning close to the silver knife stained with black blood.
“You’ll experience almost the effects of a curse in ten seconds,” Cohen said, “and then turn into a lump of rotten flesh—unless something like a phoenix is weeping for you.”
Ron immediately withdrew his hand and took a few steps back.
"Is this also... a consequence of that experiment?" Harry leaned closer to Cohen and asked in a low voice.
“Pretty much, most of this is Ari’s blood,” Cohen said. “That’s why it insists I call it Mom—”
"Liquid curse?" Hermione racked her brains but couldn't recall where she'd seen it before. "I don't think I've ever seen that term in any books, only 'concentrated liquid moonstone' and 'anti-curse potion'—"
“Because all that remains of it is a book that has been removed from the current library,” Cohen said. “Just know not to touch my blood—and thankfully, that Ravenclaw Yang used a levitation charm instead of his own hand to wield the knife.”
“That’s so cool—but Cohen, he’s trying to murder you!” Ron said incredulously. “You’re actually worried about his safety? Wait, are you not Cohen anymore—?”
"Do I need to transform into a Dementor to prove my identity?" Cohen joked. "That Yang is under the influence of the Imperius Curse."
"Who did it?" Harry wondered. "Voldemort?"
“It’s impossible for the Void to enter the school unnoticed and use the Imperishable Curse on a student. That would be redundant. He could have just attacked Cohen directly,” Hermione said confidently. “The one who used the Imperishable Curse on Yang must have been a student—the question is, what kind of student would help Voldemort murder Cohen and also be able to use the Unforgivable Curse?—A lower-year student certainly couldn’t do that.”
“Then there’s no need to guess, it’s definitely Malfoy,” Harry said confidently. “You all saw Malfoy’s strange behavior before school started—I bet it was him.”
“I wish I could be murdered again,” Cohen said sincerely.
