Chapter 590 A Strange Monster Descends from the Sky, Its Fury and Ferocity Unfolds!
Rose returned to the sunlight and walked towards Edward.

The funeral is over, but Cohen's work is not over yet.

We also need to entrust the little snake monster to someone else—

Before attending the funeral, Cohen hid the box next to Hagrid's house, betting that Hagrid wouldn't find it—and in fact, Hagrid didn't.

Cohen took the box into the forest and went inside.

The Malfoys were housed in the castle so they wouldn't have to be constantly frightened by a bunch of strange creatures and a large group of dragons.

When Cohen suggested that the Basilisk go on an adventure with Harry, the Basilisk agreed in a mere 0.01 seconds.

"I want to go!" the little snake monster said, staring with its bright yellow eyes.

"You're not allowed to go!" Sissoko refused. "You're too young! -- Cohen, are you crazy? She won't survive a day if she goes out!"

“So I have safety measures,” Cohen said. “You definitely can’t go out with him as a snake, you’re too big now—you have to go into the body I made for you last time, yes, the one I made for you before Christmas, and then you wear this…”

After placing the little basilisk's soul into the body of a young girl, Cohen handed her his horned camel skin pouch.

It contains the little snake monster's original body. If the little snake monster's current body is damaged, she will return to her original body.

No one would have imagined that after killing a frail little witch, a giant basilisk would emerge from her little pocket.

To ensure that the little snake monster could use all her strength to handle the situation if she encountered danger, Cohen also taught her how to scrape off the anti-glare glasses on her eyes with her tail.

Finally, Cohen gave one of the wands he had looted from two dead Aurors a long, long time ago to the little basilisk. Although she didn't know how to use it, she could learn by following Harry and the others, so that the journey wouldn't be too boring.

Sissoko wanted to go with them, but the little basilisk refused, saying she wanted to go out alone as a snake...

After everything was prepared, Cohen left the box with the human-like "Sophia" and Sissoko, who insisted on coming along to see him off.

“Harry is still over there.” Cohen pointed Sophia in a direction by the Black Lake, where Harry, Hermione, and Ron could be seen walking along the lake.

Sophia took off running towards Harry, but Cohen grabbed her.

“And remember, you snuck out,” Cohen said very seriously. “You have no idea what I’ve done—”

"What did you do?" Sophia asked, tilting her head.

“Very good, that’s good,” Cohen said. “You just want to find Harry because you heard I’m going somewhere very, very far away so you won’t see him—”

Sofia nodded very seriously.

"It makes me feel so uncomfortable," Sissoko said.

“It’s normal for first-time dads to feel this way, you’ll get used to it.” Cohen pushed away Sissoko’s head that was leaning in and continued to Sofia, “Don’t let anything slip, got it?”

“I’ve got it!” Sofia said eagerly, as soon as Cohen let go—

Cohen let go, and then she ran out.

“…” Cohen sighed.

[...] Sissoko also sighed.

“Let’s go back,” Cohen said. “It’s all done—or maybe not. I feel like I’ve forgotten something, but my brain doesn’t seem to want me to carry that forgotten thing with me… It can’t be that important…”

“Yes, yes,” the count’s voice came from a tree branch behind Cohen, sounding like the sea breeze before a storm, “'Not so important’.”

"Oh—" Cohen turned his head and saw the Earl, then exclaimed in realization, "No wonder I could never remember..."

The Earl stood beside Little Dick on a lower branch, both glaring at Cohen. Then, the Earl roared.

"Six years! I was your bird for six years! And after you murdered the greatest wizard of our time, you fled to escape punishment without taking me with you!"

“Doesn’t this show that I care about your safety?” Cohen said logically. “You can go and be a free bird now—”

"Shut up! Do you think I'm the kind of owl that flies away when its master commits a crime?" the Earl said viciously. "This isn't even the worst thing you've done—"

"Hmm?" Cohen raised his eyebrows.

“You left me in the Gryffindor tower, and Harry and his friends have been pestering me ever since, asking why you killed Dumbledore,” said the Earl. “And I knew nothing about it—nothing at all! Now do you realize how heinous your actions were?”

"Shouldn't I have left you in the Gryffindor Tower?" Cohen asked.

“No, the worst thing you did was murder Dumbledore without me,” the Earl said.

"..."

"..."

“I’m going to murder my dad too!” Little Dick shouted.

"Shut up too." The count flapped his wing.

"That's it?" Cohen said, puzzled.

“That’s Dumbledore!” the Earl said angrily. “I could have been the owl who witnessed the deaths of three of the most powerful wizards in two hundred years, and now only two are left! My life is no longer complete…”

As he spoke, the count let out a sad cooing sound.

“There are three left, because Dumbledore isn’t dead.” Cohen shrugged. “I promise I’ll take you to the movies next time before he dies, okay?”

"Really?" The count's eyes immediately turned back.

“And we’ll have to add Helbo too,” Cohen said. “Now you’ll see four legendary wizards die in your lifetime, if you can make it.”

"No Little Dick," the Earl added.

"Why!" Little Dick cried.

"Because your dad wants to brag about this to you," Cohen bluntly exposed.

“Bitch,” Little Dick cursed at the Earl.

“Son of a bitch,” the count retorted irritably.

"Go inside, you two." Cohen said sternly, pulling them both into the box.

Now that I've remembered to bring the Earl along, I have nothing left behind.

The task of finding Herpo's Horcrux should also be put on the agenda. Cohen plans to set off for Greece now to see if he can find any clues in the places where Herpo lived.

But this time Cohen won't be flying; the dizzying feeling is worse than flying himself.

Considering that he had stolen three golden sheep from Greece during his last visit, Cohen decided to keep a low profile and fly invisibly.

However, Cohen's plan was disrupted once again at the very beginning - just as he flew away from the Scottish border, Cohen discovered a dark mass rapidly approaching him.

And they're noisy.
