Chapter 602 Heading North
Chapter 602 Heading North (A burst of powerful music begins)
“Is that so?” Cohen looked at Krum.
“I did an interview when I went back to Bulgaria before…” Krum said somewhat embarrassedly.
"Come on, come sit in my office. I can recommend some tourist destinations..." Minister Obransk beckoned. "And you—Viktor, come sit down too. Training too frequently isn't good. You're still young, you need to take care of your health..."
It was clear that Minister Obransk simply didn't want to be alone with Cohen in an office, and Viktor Krum, "an acquaintance of Cohen," was the perfect third party.
“Okay.” Krum shrugged.
Minister Obransk's office, like Edward's, was on the first floor, but it was much more elaborate, with a row of shelves displaying various trophies that Bulgaria had won, gleaming brightly.
Cohen noticed that most of them were actually Quidditch trophies, which explained why the minister was in such frequent contact with Krum. The World Championship defeat did not seem to stop Minister Obransk from treating Krum as his own son.
“I heard from Lundhart that he arranged a guide for you in Greece. I think Viktor might be able to…” Minister Obransk said, and Krum’s expression changed slightly.
Because he actually has a new round of training tomorrow.
“No, I don’t think I need a guide that much,” Cohen said, and Krum looked at Cohen with a hint of gratitude in his eyes.
“Besides, there’s really no need for that…” Cohen said, frowning. “Everyone knows who I am now, but I won’t kill people indiscriminately. As long as you don’t mess with me, we can get along peacefully. You do your business, and I’ll do mine.”
"What? What murder?" Krum thought his English had deteriorated again.
“Viktor didn’t see the newspaper—” Minister Obransk said in a low voice.
“But he should also know that if you really intend for him to show me around here,” Cohen said, then looked at Krum, “I’m a murderer.”
"What does this word mean?" Krum now truly felt he had misheard, so he looked at Minister Obransk.
“убиец…” the minister said in a heavy voice.
Krum understood now—but still didn't get it.
"Who did you kill?"
“Dumbledore,” Cohen said. “Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts.”
"Why?" Krum frowned deeply. "I don't think you're that kind of person."
“For a reason I can’t disclose right now,” Cohen said. “Well, whether you believe it or not, it’s all clear now. You don’t need to be my guide; I can find what I want myself—of course, I’ll leave here even faster if the minister is willing to give me some help.”
“I believe you are not someone who kills innocent people indiscriminately,” Krum insisted.
“I…” The minister also wanted to express his opinion, but after thinking about it, he didn’t say it aloud like Krum. “I can offer you help—as long as you don’t hurt…”
“I believe he wouldn’t hurt anyone,” Krum said. “I trust my friend Cohen; I can help you find your things.”
"Do you have any records of Herbo passing through here, like those from one or two thousand years ago?" Cohen asked.
“Who?” Krum said.
“Helpo, that despicable Helpo,” Cohen said. “That Greek black wizard buried something dangerous, and I’m going to find it and destroy it.”
"Who would know..." the minister thought for a moment, "Perhaps we could go to the library? Check some historical materials?"
“I can take you to the Clement Library in Sofia, where there’s a large historical section,” Krum said.
“Sofia?” Cohen asked. “The name of that city,” the minister said, feeling somewhat embarrassed. “You…don’t you know it?”
"Ah, I didn't think of that at first..." Cohen said somewhat awkwardly, "I have a pet snake named Sophia—do you go to the library regularly?"
“Ever since Hermione… I’ve been trying to find some common ground,” Krum said, his eyes darting around. “So that I won’t be at a loss for words when I write to her…”

"Sophia!"
A terrified scream echoed from the house at number twelve Grimmauld Place; it was Harry.
Because when he returned to the room, he saw Sophia with a lamb leg stuck in her throat, writhing on the bed like a snake.
Harry struggled to pull the leg of lamb out of her mouth.
"Ugh—I'm not used to it..." Sofia said sullenly, "Why is the lamb leg so big?"
“You were complaining about how small this leg of lamb was just two minutes ago.” Harry took a deep breath. “You can’t just swallow it…you have teeth—”
“But there was no venom,” Sofia said disappointedly. “Cohen should have given me the venom; the dog didn’t die after I bit it…”
“That’s Sirius,” Harry said, covering his face. “Have you forgotten how you got grounded in this room? Thank goodness Cohen didn’t put fangs in you.”
“He’s human,” Sofia said.
“He’s an Animagus,” Harry explained. “Once you learn to be an Animagus, you can transform into an animal—”
"Wow!" Sofia exclaimed, her eyes lighting up. "Just like Cohen! I want to be like him too!"
“But I don’t know how to do that at all, and you haven’t even learned the Levitation Charm yet,” Harry said.
“Then that big dog will definitely—” Sofia said.
“Sirius just got bitten by you, he won’t teach you—hey, don’t run out, or you’ll miss dinner—” Harry tried to stop Sophia from rushing out, but before he could finish the first word, Sophia had already disappeared down the corridor.
Harry had no choice but to quickly follow him out.
Sofia followed the scent to Sirius's bedroom, then burst in with a bang, startling Sirius, who was dozing off in a chair.
"Big dog! You have to teach me Nimas!" Sophia said, shaking Sirius's arm. "I want to become an animal too! I want to become a unicorn!"
“What Animagus—oh, Animagus?” Sirius, his eyelids heavy, let Sophia swing his arm. “Don’t even think about it. Basilisks can’t turn into unicorns, and Animaguss can’t turn into magical creatures. You can only turn into cats, dogs, or something else…that thing is dangerous—wait, didn’t I put you in solitary confinement? Harry let you out?!”
“Sirius—she…she…let me catch my breath…” Harry ran over, panting. “She’s escaped—I didn’t expect this…I’ll take her back right now.”
"Please, please..." Sophia pleaded, shaking Sirius's arm pitifully, her eyes blinking.
"This thing is very complicated, extremely time-consuming, and also depends on luck—"
"Can't I...?" Sofia's eyes glistened with tears.
She used this trick when dealing with Sissoko and the other two old snakes, and it always worked.
"This..." Sirius couldn't bear to watch any longer and turned his head away.
“…” Sophia sniffed.
"Alright, alright, I can show you how." Sirius closed his eyes helplessly, "But you'll most likely not even be able to get past the first step, so don't cause any trouble then..."
