I am a master in India
Chapter 111 Detonation
Chapter 111 Detonation
Heiyan used to love the bustling streets of Mumbai, and most of his childhood happiness came from there.
But at this moment he was very disgusted with the bustling crowd. In order to avoid pedestrians, his motorcycle speed sometimes fast and sometimes slow, never exceeding 19 kilometers per hour.
After being blocked by the ox cart in front of him again, he couldn't help but have a vicious fantasy: as long as he pressed the button, the motorcycle under his butt would surely send everyone here to the sky.
Unfortunately, this was not his destination; it was Victoria Railway Station to the south.
This was Heiyan's first time carrying out such a mission, and his head was full of fantasies brought on by tension and excitement. In fact, he had just joined the gang not long ago.
Black Eyes was the nickname he gave himself. All he knew was that he had joined a Muslim gang called Daud. The riots two months ago had driven a large number of Muslim youths into gangs.
Heiyan is one of them. He is only eighteen years old and was a student in a middle school two months ago.
But the riots changed everything. He was watching cartoons at home that day when someone knocked on the door: "We are sent by the government."
"Open the door and show your ration cards." Voices came one after another outside.
Black Eyes became alert, and his father immediately blocked the door with an iron rod. Just the day before, they had witnessed a public ceremony held by the Shiv Sena, which was a demonstration. The other party had been marking the homes of the Moslem residents in this area.
There was even a black-eyed neighbor and friend in the parade, who was a Hindu. At this moment, an unusual knock on the door sounded, and the whole family raised their voices nervously.
Realizing that the people in the house would not fall for it, the people outside began to bang on the door, push and shove it, and finally broke in.
They picked up iron bars and beat Black Eyes' father in front of the whole family, including his friend, with whom he had played cricket and who had come to Black Eyes' house for dinner.
Black Eyes, who was caught in the fish pond disaster, hugged his head and begged for mercy from his former friend: "You were a guest at our house before, weren't you?"
The other party just glanced at him coldly and told him to get out.
The thin little Heiyan ran all the way to his uncle's house, crying and asking his uncle for help, but his uncle refused.
"I still want to live." This was the answer he got.
During the time he ran away, Black Eyes' mother and sister locked themselves in the bedroom, holding insecticide in their hands. If the mob broke in, they were ready to take the medicine and commit suicide, which was better than being brutally raped.
Miraculously, the Shiv Sena did not attack them. After beating up Black Eyes' father, they smashed everything in the house to pieces.
With no other choice, Heiyan and his family fled to a refugee camp, where they spent three days. Nearby restaurants refused to give them even a sip of water, so they lived on rotten tomatoes.
But the worst part was not this. After the riots, they had to beg wherever they went.
They can no longer return to the Nagar development where they used to live, where Hindus outnumbered Muslims. Their apartments, televisions, and running water are now luxuries.
For the past two months, his family has been begging everywhere, and their clothes and biscuits all come from relief stations. In order to protect his family, his father also lost his job.
Now Heiyan has dropped out of school, and his family, which has nothing, cannot afford the cost of his schooling.
He could only join the gang, the gang of the Mumin people. After becoming a gang member, no one dared to bully his family anymore.
Heiyanyou still remembered the scene where he pointed a gun at the head of a Hindu businessman, who was submissive and took out all the money he had on him.
The Hindu who once rushed into his house with a ferocious look became as docile as a sheep. After taking the money, Heiyan touched his wife's plump breasts.
The feeling is addictive, and Heiyan does not regret joining the gang.
Not only him, but most of the young people in the community where he originally lived joined the Daud gang.
He believed he was being forced into this, and now he was ready to do as they wished: the Hindoo was about to massacre the Hindus.
Black Eyes silently calculated the time. Victoria Railway Station was already in sight ahead. The detonator cord under his motorcycle was green, meaning that once he pressed the button, the five kilograms of RDX would detonate in two hours. Someone above had assembled the detonator and electronic timer, with different colored wires representing different detonation times. Red meant fifteen minutes, yellow meant one hour, and green meant two hours.
The Black Eye started from Madanpur in central Mumbai and used green detonating wire as it was far from Victoria Railway Station in South Mumbai.
It’s almost there, it’s almost there, Heiyan was a little excited.
Suddenly, a figure jumped out in front of his motorcycle. Heiyan braked subconsciously and was about to curse, but the next scene made him and the reckless man raise their heads.
Boom! A flash of fire shot up into the sky, and then a shock wave swept across, knocking Black Eyes to the ground.
Ron also covered his ears in pain. His chest felt like it was stepped on by an elephant and was stuffy and painful.
After snoring and taking a few deep breaths, Ron finally let the tinnitus in his ears gradually subside.
He raised his head and saw tiles, bricks, glass and metal fragments falling around him.
Not far away, just across the street, thick smoke was rising.
That was in the direction of Mangaldas Textile Market, where most households in Mumbai bought their carpets.
Nia! Ron shuddered and continued running towards the train station.
Bang! A billboard fell not far from him, then rolled over, crushing a small figure underneath.
Heart-wrenching screams and cries were heard, and Ron's world finally regained color.
He paused and wanted to continue rushing to the train station, but the small figure under the billboard stopped him.
Ron gritted his teeth and rushed over, trying to lift the billboard, but it was too heavy for him to move alone.
"Push harder!" Another person came to help.
Then the second and third billboards were moved away with the help of the crowd.
Lying beneath him was a child from the Mu people, his arm bleeding profusely, his radius protruding. He screamed in pain, terrified.
It must be a fracture, Ron judged it instantly.
There was no first aid kit at hand, so he tried to tear a piece of cloth from his shirt to fix the child's arm.
However, a woman next to him took off her sari and handed it to him. Ron didn't even bother to say thank you. He took it and started bandaging and fixing the child's arm.
Heiyan, who was not far away, got up tremblingly. He glanced at the white hat of the Mumin child in the crowd, then at the holy thread on Ron's wrist, and for the first time, hesitation appeared on his face.
Boom! Another explosion sounded in the distance, and Heiyan knew it was the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Columns of black smoke rose into the sky all over Mumbai, and Heiyan suddenly felt a little wet on his head.
He looked up and saw a severed arm on the balcony above, blood dripping from it.
Heiyan shuddered in fear, then threw away the detonator in his hand, left the motorcycle and ran away.
After handing the child to a passerby, Ron rushed to the train station again.
