I am a master in India

Chapter 123: Too Many Skills Are Not Overwhelming

Chapter 123: Too Many Skills Are Not Overwhelming
Luca's last visit to Mumbai was a failure, and this time he returns with even greater ambitions.

"My brother's ship is out there on the high seas, and it has over three hundred thousand dollars in cash on it. As soon as Pant prepares the goods, the money can be delivered immediately."

"Don't worry, I sent the list of medicines you requested to Pant a week ago. He will have them ready, and no one will dare to mess with him this time."

After attending the meeting at Khad Khan's house, Ron was certain of one thing: Pant had become one of the gang leaders under Khad Khan's jurisdiction, responsible for the pharmaceutical business.

No matter what his relationship with other leaders is, as long as he is Khad Khan's man, no one will be so blind as to cause trouble for Pant.

The kind of thing that happened last year where someone came to my door and beat me up will definitely not happen again.

"Has a lot happened recently?" Luca seemed to realize something.

"Mumbai's underground world has never been peaceful. Just get used to it." Ron smiled and patted his shoulder.

It was still the same fishing village pier as last time. The stench of seafood and the clanging sound of the ice factory instantly enveloped the two of them.

A naughty child came over to Ron with a bamboo basket on his head, laughing and saying hello, and then quickly ran away.

"Dude, you're pretty welcome here, huh?"

“I provided free medical treatment for them for a period of time.”

"Free clinic?"

"Of course, I have a medical license." Ron held his head high and chest puffed out.

The Medical Council of India has certified him as a legitimate doctor.

"My God, you're a magic trick. Tour guide, company owner, hero of Bombay, smuggler, black marketeer... and now a doctor?"

"It's all me, don't be surprised, it's always good to have many skills."

"Mumbai is fucking crazy. There's no other place like it in the world."

A gust of sea breeze blew by, and Luca coughed twice. "It's just that the smell here isn't very good. It would be perfect if we could change the trading location."

"This is the safest place. Police dogs will get lost if they come here."

Ron first walked to a dilapidated yard and knocked on the door. After the person inside saw him, he chatted for a few words and immediately led the two of them in.

"Look, who's here? Our good man, Dr. Sule!" Pant, with his big belly sticking out, was as enthusiastic as when they first met.

"I can see that you've been living a comfortable life lately." Ron tapped his belly with his hand, and Pant laughed.

"Instead of looking for trouble, it is better to go with the flow." He said a very philosophical statement.

"When did you start to comprehend Zen?"

"Don't give me that. This is my philosophy of life. Oh, by the way, this is Luca? From Brazil."

"Hello, man."

The two shook hands, a greeting. It wasn't their first meeting, but they were clearly not close friends either.

"Let's get down to business first. Are the goods ready?" Ron asked.

"It's almost ready," Pant pointed to the warehouse behind the yard, "You can come and pick it up tomorrow."

This time, there was more cargo, several times more than last time. As usual, Ron had someone count it first.

Luca also took part in the business personally. With a business worth nearly $300,000, he could not afford to be careless.

A moment later, he came back with a list, looking puzzled. "The quantity is fine, but why did they change the manufacturer this time?"

"They're all the same medicine, so there's no doubt it's effective." Pant waved his hand nonchalantly. "These manufacturers are all legitimate companies. We're just distributors, so of course we'll choose whoever has the best product."

"Write down the name of the pharmaceutical manufacturer. If you're not in a hurry to pick up the goods, go check it out first." Ron turned to Luca and gave his advice.

He is just a middleman. In theory, he should try his best to make the deal happen and then take his commission and leave.

But it is a medicine after all, so it is better to be cautious when giving it to humans.

"I'm going to go out and call my brother." Luca took out the satellite phone and walked out of the yard. They also needed to discuss this matter among themselves.

Pant watched coldly from the sidelines, not urging anything. After Luca left, he quietly reminded Ron.

"Had Khan personally took care of this batch of medicine, you understand."

"What do you mean?" Ron's eyes moved slightly.

"Don't you understand? Khad Khan wants to get involved in the pharmaceutical business. He arranged all these manufacturers. I'm just an employee."

"So is there any problem with this batch of medicine?"

Pant was silent for a moment and then replied, "No problem."

"I've never asked you, how did you resolve the last time someone came to steal your business and there was a gunfight?"

Ron was very curious about this matter. He only vaguely remembered that it was related to the Shiva Army, also known as the Shiv Sena. However, he and Pant were not that familiar at the time, so he did not ask much.

Now they have some friendship with each other, and more or less they all stand on Khad Khan's side, so they can be considered as family members.

"It was the Shiv Sena, the current owner of Mumbai, who stole my business." Pant laughed a strange laugh. "Back then, they were as poor as mad dogs. They dared to do anything to make money."

Ron couldn't help but think of Thackeray's villa. The nouveau riche style was still fresh in his memory.

"You know, they were really poor back then. They didn't even have the money to pay bail for their little brother. And then, for some reason, they set their sights on my business!"

Pant spoke with resentment. This incident still made him very angry.

“I later found out that it was that bitch Elizabeth who revealed my business to them in order to gain the support of the Shiv Sena.”

"Mrs. Elizabeth?" Ron heard a familiar name again.

"That's right! That bitch just arrived in Mumbai and desperately needs protection from local forces. The Shiv Sena is a capable fighter and short on cash, making them a perfect partner." "You've been to the palace, and they saw through your weakness and sold you to the Shiv Sena?"

Faced with Ron's speculation, Pant remained silent. That was probably the case.

The difference is that he is not "weak and alone". He has been fighting in the Persian Gulf for many years and has many desperate criminals under his command.

However, he was facing the Shiv Sena, whose members had real military backgrounds, and many of their thugs were from the RSS.

What happens when aggressive gangs encounter regular troops? The outcome is easy to imagine.

"And it was Khad Khan who settled the matter?" Ron asked.

"Yes," Pant said with a smirk, "He spent a fortune feeding the Shiv Sena. The price he paid was that 90% of the profits from the pharmaceutical business would go to him, and the remaining 10% would go to me."

Ron took a deep breath. He finally understood why Pant was so unhappy.

Everyone else addressed him respectfully as Khaderbai, but he addressed him by his given name, Khader Khan. From being a smuggling boss with his own agenda, to being a subordinate of someone else, and having to hand over most of his profits, the difference in treatment was natural.

"Hadhan is a ruthless eater." Pant glanced at Ron and laughed again, "You've been eaten clean."

Ron raised his eyebrows, "What do you mean?"

"Your travel agency earns a hundred times more money than you do, but you don't get a penny." Pant laughed gloatingly.

Ron shrugged without further explanation. He wasn't a member of Khadhan's gang, so why would he get a share of the money?

Ron didn't want to get too involved with Khadhan, so he just wanted to drink some soup. The more he took, the harder it would be to get out later.

The core of his business is not the travel agency, but Sur Electric Appliances.

"So you know, there's not much I can do in the pharmaceutical business." Pant completely lost the energy and spirit he had during the first transaction.

He has no hope of recovery, let alone revenge. The Shiv Sena, in particular, has soared to prominence thanks to the unrest at the end of last year.

The government in Mumbai is nominally in the hands of the Congress Party, but those who actually run the government follow the Shiv Sena's lead.

Many times, Thackeray's words are more effective than the Mumbai government. He is the "deep government" of Mumbai.

Luca seemed to have finished his call, and his hesitation was gone.

"The goods will be shipped tomorrow night and the payment will be settled."

"No problem!" Pant agreed readily.

"See you tomorrow." Ron said goodbye to him.

"Don't forget customs, you can handle it yourself!"

Ron made an OK gesture at him. He was already familiar with this kind of thing.

The business is worth more than 10 US dollars. This time, I might get a commission of US dollars and a detached villa near Malabar Hill.

"Ron, you go find the customs, I'll go out to sea and bring people to get the money." Luca started to act hurriedly.

"So urgent?"

"Every day of delay costs money. This batch of goods must be returned to Brazil as soon as possible, the sooner the better."

"Okay, just be careful."

Ron also became dedicated for the villa near Malabar Hill, and he found Harry without any delay.

"This time is unusual. You know, the situation in Mumbai is very tense right now, and you have a lot of goods." Harry's eyes flashed.

"So what do you suggest?" Ron asked, slightly wary.

"Well, I have a few colleagues who are very curious about the palace."

Ron's expression became interesting. He thought the other party wanted to pay more money, but it turned out that he wanted to learn a foreign language.

He had heard from Dijiang that the place was full of foreign call girls and not a single Indian girl.

"I'll make the arrangements tonight, but my ship must sail on time tomorrow."

"No problem!" Harry shook his head excitedly.

The reputation of the palace had long been secretly spread throughout Mumbai, and these officials also wanted it.

The most important thing is that Indian men can enjoy white women openly, and that sense of superiority and conquest is enough to drive people crazy.

No one can resist the temptation of the palace. Harry has long been drooling over it and has heard about many of the things there.

This time he finally found an opportunity, so of course he wouldn't let it go easily.

Although Ron agreed to take Harry to the palace, he actually had no idea what to do.

He didn't even know where the palace was, and Ron had no time to hide from Lady Elizabeth because of the land purchase last year.

There was no other way. In order to complete the transaction as soon as possible, Ron decided to go to Johnny to ask.

As Khad Khan's top thug, he must have some knowledge of the palace.

"Aren't there two foreign girls around you? Are you unsatisfied?" Johnny looked him up and down.

"Don't come on, I'm bringing other people with me."

"Go find Hela."

"Who?" Ron was shocked.

“Hela, she’s more familiar with the palace than I am.”
