I am a master in India
Chapter 98 Medical Miracle
Chapter 98 Medical Miracle
Kaavia's skin was a light wheat color and looked healthy and firm. But only when he touched it with his own hands did Ron realize he was wrong. It was an indescribable softness.
Outside, flames shot up into the sky, and screams echoed through the streets. Unable to leave, they could only huddle in this small room. Their eyes met, frozen, a strange urge rising within them.
Kavya came closer to him, the firelight from the window lighting her eyes. She lowered her head and threw herself into his arms.
They embraced, then collapsed, and the room was filled with her scent, just as Ron always smelled.
They comforted each other in this turbulent night, and they needed to put their chests close to each other, close enough to feel each other's heartbeat.
The flames of the Qingzheng Temple, the gasoline on the Mohara, and the screams outside all stimulated and suppressed them.
Ron spent the entire night in the pleasure cave, throwing all his anger, fear, and desire into it.
When the streets returned to peace, he buried his head in the softness and fell into a deep sleep.
When he woke up again, Kavya was no longer there. She was standing at the window talking on the phone.
Ron got up yawning, having indulged himself too much last night. But this was not a bad thing, at least the gloom in his heart was swept away.
Kavya was only wearing a thin layer of pajamas, facing the bright light from the window, with a panoramic view of the charming scenery.
Well, Ron's bro had already stood up to salute, and it was tilted up.
"It seems that last night was not your limit." Kavya walked over and boldly used the one-finger Zen.
"You'd better not provoke it, I'm afraid I can't control myself."
"No wonder so many girls like you, you're so talented."
"This is just a tiny fraction of my immense strength. Tell me, what information did you get?"
“The riots were triggered by a tragic incident in Jogeshwari district.”
"Tragedy?" Ron frowned. He now hated the word.
"The incident happened on the night of January 1. The slum was divided between Hindus and Moghuls, who were governed separately. One Hindu family lived in a tube-shaped building that happened to be located in the Moghul area.
Then, while the family was fast asleep, someone barricaded their door from outside and threw a petrol bomb through the window. The six people were awakened by the explosion and screamed as they tried to escape.
They were unsuccessful and were burned alive in the house. Among them was the family’s daughter, a disabled Indian girl.”
"Oh my God!" Ron rubbed his head. He didn't see it with his own eyes, but just thinking about the scene was shocking enough.
What’s more, the Hindus who have been brainwashed by the sects will definitely not tolerate this.
"Another version says that the disabled Indian girl was pinned to the ground before she died, and that more than twenty pagans, or Mumin, raped her.
Neighbors said her screams, along with the cries of her family members who were locked in the house and left to lick by the flames, resounded through the air. In the end, they didn't spare her and she was thrown into the fire where her family lay.
Ron was completely silenced. This was not something a human being would do. Of course, Hindus were not good people either.
"Some say this is a deliberate exaggeration by the Shiv Sena, who are trying to incite Hindus to take revenge on the Makkal. But regardless, the city is finished, at least for now."
Kavya's tone was full of anger, but her eyes were filled with sadness. She had been studying in the United States since junior high school, but she still loved this country.
"Mumbai won't stay in such chaos forever. Someone will come to clean it up." Ron sighed, and his business was over.
"I have to go to the newspaper office. There's the latest news there, and I want to write a feature story." She began to get dressed and organize her office stuff.
"Let me take you there. It's too chaotic outside." Ron was worried about her being alone, and Viraj also needed to return his motorcycle.
Kavya was interning at The Times of India, a major Indian newspaper. Her family had used a lot of connections to get her into the newspaper.
The streets outside were chaotic, but not completely out of order. The police, having finally arrived belatedly, had finally begun to strictly enforce law and order.
However, the areas where the Mumin lived and the shops run by them were still the focus of people's attention. It would be unreasonable not to take advantage of such a great opportunity to buy for free.
Ron successfully took Kaavia to the newspaper office, and then he drove his motorcycle to Leopold's Bar.
The place was in a mess, with few customers. Fortunately, Viraj was already waiting at the intersection, and he seemed to know Ron was coming.
"You have to go to the hospital with me." He couldn't wait to speak as soon as he met.
"What happened?"
"Luca, that unlucky guy came at a really bad time."
Ron learned from Viraj that Luca had arrived in Mumbai yesterday. Unfortunately, he encountered a commotion as soon as he left the airport.
When Hindus and Muslims were fighting, an iron rod flew in from nowhere and hit him on the forehead, and he fell straight down.
In the end, the police sent him to the hospital, otherwise this guy would have lay on the ground all night and would have been stripped naked the next day.
His clothes, shoes, and watches—in the eyes of the slum dwellers—were valuable items that could fetch a high price. "He called you from the hospital, but you weren't home or at the office," Viraj said, giving him a teasing look. "Did he get it?"
"I took her to the newspaper office this morning." Ron shook his neck in an Indian way.
"I knew it was easy for you to get into a woman's bed." Viraj's face looked like he had swallowed a lemon raw.
"What about you?" Ron suddenly started gossiping.
"Hela was very proud. She scolded me and said that Indians are perverts. I know she didn't mean me. She was just provoked by what happened yesterday."
"Very reasonable." Ron silently gave a thumbs up to this little imagination expert.
"Okay, stop talking nonsense. Let's go see Luca first. You disappeared the entire night. Poor Luca foolishly called me so many times that he didn't even remember me until this morning."
After learning that Ron had succeeded, Viraj suddenly lost interest in the discussion. He began to blame Ron for not caring about his friend's life, and his words were almost like "putting love before friendship" hitting him on the head.
Arriving at Grant Hospital, they were shocked by the scene: dead bodies were everywhere, both men and women, with no names, only numbers.
This turmoil was obviously not as simple as burning one or two pagans to death, which was a scene that could only be seen in times of war.
A quick glance revealed at least fifty bodies lying in the yard. Ron couldn't bear to look at their tragic state.
The two of them hurried into the ward, and the scene outside completely washed away their previous ease.
The ward was in even greater chaos, filled with cries and screams. There were men and women, young and old, Hindus and Muslims.
The abuser and the victim lay side by side, staring at each other with hatred.
Although the atmosphere here was still tense, Ron and Viraj breathed a sigh of relief at the same time. After all, it was better than the dead silence outside.
They found Luca in a separate corner, guarded by two policemen. Ron approached and spoke to him for a few words before learning that they were guarded by the Exit and Entry Administration.
During this sensitive period, the arrival of foreigners in Mumbai always aroused the suspicion of the Indian authorities, who had heard rumors that the Mujahideen in the Persian Gulf were preparing for bloody revenge.
Fortunately, Luca didn't look like a Persian bearded man. With Ron as a guarantor and his passport intact, the police took a 200 rupee bribe and left quietly.
"God, is a civil war about to break out in India?" Luca, with gauze still wrapped around his head, looked miserable.
"Those policemen are eager to take the money, but they won't let Mumbai really get into chaos. But you, miraculously, look like nothing happened?" Ron looked at him in surprise.
"Man, that's a concussion! The doctor said I'll be in bed for at least a week, shit. I kind of miss the girls at Leopold's."
“Why are you in Mumbai at this time? Don’t you watch the news?” Viraj asked.
"Who watches the news? Brazilians never watch the news. They just wait for the street bosses to speak."
"Then your luck is not very good. By the way, that batch of goods is sold out?" Ron was more concerned about the purpose of his visit.
The tourism business was definitely going to be a bust for now, so the pharmaceutical business became the key. Speaking of this topic, Luca also perked up.
"I'm considered a big shot in Rio de Janeiro now," Luca said proudly, but soon he became sad. "But I just returned to the city that brought me wealth, and I was robbed again."
Ron and Viraj looked at each other, "You were robbed?"
"Yes, I was lying on the ground. When I woke up, the three thousand dollars in my bag was gone. I suspect it was those two policemen who did it. During a gang fight, no one would rob a patient lying on the ground. I know this from experience. But no one told me where the money went, and no one said they would investigate the matter."
"At least they saved you," Ron comforted him.
It is true that although the police were greedy, they still had some moral integrity and did not abandon Luca on the street.
"Fortunately, I'm smart." Luca scratched his crotch proudly, where there was a hidden layer sewn secretly.
"You're such a fucking talent!" Ron cursed with a smile. It seems that this trick is used all over the world.
"You're right, I brought another big business this time!" Luca sat up from the bed excitedly.
"What's big"
Ron hadn't finished his words when a commotion broke out in the hall. They turned around and saw the Hindus and the Moslems fighting again.
One party pulled out the IV needle and hurled the saline bottle at the enemy, while the other wielded the IV bamboo stick and struck the opponent's head with all its might.
A new round of war broke out and the entire hall was in chaos.
"Hurry! Run!" Luca jumped up from the hospital bed, took off the gauze on his head, and ran away.
What the hell is this a medical miracle? Ron and Viraj also slipped away.
No matter how big the business is, just run away first.
