Chapter 10 Where did you learn this?

Chapter 10 Where did you learn this?
"Just in case, you have to prepare a diluted vaccine for us." Bai Mu pressed the metal suitcase.

Wilfer was slightly startled: "You are not affected by the virus...Okay, I will prepare it."

He suddenly thought of something and quickly asked, "Are you interested in virus enhancement? If so, we can go to Lab 3. It hasn't been damaged much, and I can use the equipment there to concoct a suitable enhanced virus."

Matt crossed his arms and sneered: "Don't be ridiculous, if it's as simple as you say, why wouldn't you use this thing?"

He wanted extraordinary opportunities just like Gunner Eller, but he also knew that strangers would not share the real good things casually!

Just like making money, if it were really that easy, why don't those who boast about it get rich? Why do they bother wasting their time and energy trying to deceive people?

"You're different. You have stronger resistance and can withstand the side effects of the virus. With a blood sample and the neutralizing vaccine, we can customize a strengthening agent. The effect will be weaker than directly using the original virus solution, but it's safer."

Wilfer said this with some regret: "Unfortunately, even this safe method is not safe for most people. If it fails, an overdose of vaccine will be used to remedy the situation, and there will be no chance to receive virus reinforcement again."

Matt seemed moved. Seeing Bai Mu was still thinking, he looked at Thorne.

"Captain Thorn, we don't want to miss this opportunity. Since this virus has appeared once, it may come back a second time. If that happens, Captain Thorn, just contact us and we will definitely help you at all costs."

"Go to Lab 3." Thorne sighed.

"It doesn't take too long to dilute the vaccine. You can clean up the zombies during this time." Wilfer pointed to the surveillance footage. The recent explosion attracted many zombies.

"Let's go clean up. Captain Thorn, you keep an eye on him."

"Be careful." Thorne nodded to Baimu. He always felt that Wilfer was dishonest.

"That guy is lying to us." After leaving the lab, the gunman Eller whispered, "He did so many things, but the focus was always on Thorn. We were just incidental. He said so much just to divide the relationship between us and Thorn."

"But he doesn't know that we are not from here at all." Matt sneered. Wilfer did scare them at the beginning with knowledge that they didn't know.

Bai Mu was thinking about the box: "Does this laboratory really have such a complete set of things?"

Matt asked curiously, "Huh? How do you say that?"

"This is just a laboratory. There are bombs and sensors here. Is this a proper laboratory?"

"That guy is just bluffing, but he has something to rely on." Matt did not deny Bai Mu's words, but he did not intend to attack Wilfer immediately. The other party still had what they wanted in his hands.

Even if that guy was lying, there had to be some truth in his words. Compared to getting the vaccine and then going straight to find a zombie to scratch himself, what Wilfer said was more reliable.

"Let's clean up the zombies first."

Bai Mu raised his gun and started clearing out the zombies outside.

Bai Mu was really not interested in the virus enhancement that Wilfer mentioned. Things involving that stuff depended more on luck. As for the customized version of the enhanced virus that the other party mentioned, it might be true.

But what if it’s fake?

Bai Mu felt that it would be better to choose a martial arts secret book that might lead to obsession than a virus.

Laboratory No. 3, Bai Mu and others who came here are already familiar with the place. They are like returning to their homes. After clearing out the zombies here, this place becomes their temporary safe house.

Every underground laboratory in Big Bear City is similar, except that they have different research directions, so not all laboratories have vaccines.

Whether this is true or not, only Wilfer knows.

"This is the customized strengthening potion." The next day, Wilfer took out the prepared strengthening potion. "Although the enhancement is only half of Thorn's, it is safer."

"Safe?" Thorne sneered. If it were safe, the bear market wouldn't have fallen.

Bai Mu looked at the potion in his hand and put it away.

Matt's eyes darkened slightly. According to Wilfer, this thing was made for a specific person. It was safe for the person who customized it, but for anyone else, it would be more dangerous than the virus carried by ordinary zombies. Zombie viruses can cause mutations, but this thing can kill people.

"You don't want to take this thing out and sell it for money, do you?" Wilfer looked at Bai Mu with some confusion.

Thorne and others also looked over.

Bai Mu shook his head and looked at the two different boxes next to Wilfer. One contained vaccines, and the other contained research data on vaccines and viruses.

"I won't use it until I get the complete vaccine. I don't trust you now." Bai Mu suddenly thought of something and gave Wilfer a scary smile. "And to make sure the vaccine you mentioned is effective, I plan to give it a try."

"What do you want to do!?"

What are you doing?

"You are targeting me." Looking at the wound on his arm, Wilfer cursed as he cleaned the wound. It was a wound caused by the zombie's nails.

If Bai Mu had done this yesterday, Matt and others would have most likely tried to stop him. But now that they have gotten what they wanted, they have acquiesced to Bai Mu's behavior.

Two hours later, Wilfer said unhappily and proudly, "See, I'm fine. The vaccine is absolutely effective!"

"Captain Thorn, I want to kill that guy."

While clearing the zombies outside with Thorne, Bai Mu spoke frankly and took out the strengthening potion and stuffed it into Thorne. This thing is called a strengthening potion, but it is actually a virus.

"The reason." Thorne looked at Bai Mu with a complicated expression. When Wilfer said that, he was also a little suspicious of Bai Mu.

"That guy is too cunning. If we take him out, he will definitely live a more comfortable life than he does now. I can't bear to see this happen."

"...You'll have to find an opportunity. I've investigated several labs, and they're all pretty much the same. There shouldn't be any small bombs in there, or even many stockpiles of weapons."

Thorne wanted to return the strengthening potion that Baimu had stuffed into his hand, but Baimu shook his head.

"I don't believe this virus is that effective, nor do I believe I'm that lucky. That guy targeted me so much, I don't trust him even more."

"You." Thorne couldn't help but smile as he looked at Bai Mu's young face. He felt that Bai Mu's last sentence was the reason why he wanted to kill Wilfer.

Well, maybe it also has to do with the fact that the guy is a scumbag himself.

"Then when we leave, Uncle Thorn, remember to drive towards where there are more zombies."

Thorn frowned slightly: "This is not good."

Bai Mu patted the grenade he was carrying and said, "I haven't used this thing since I got it!"

"Be careful he throws this thing back."

Thorne reminded Bai Mu somewhat helplessly. He knew that this young man was a novice and prone to making mistakes.

"I will tie this to him and kill him." Bai Mu took out the high-strength strapping tape that he had prepared long ago. These things were found in the laboratory and were of excellent quality.

Thorn looks like an old man looking at his phone on the subway. Damn this young man!

"Where did you learn all this?"

"Movies, novels, short online videos..."

Thorn interrupted Bai Mu's narration: "I understand. Don't sit in the passenger seat when we drive later."
