Family heirloom, then turned into a demon girl

Chapter 118 Mission: 05-4 Training (Part )

In general, the information about Toyokawa Shoko further proves the danger of Little Ace - if its target is really the body of the demon Nanna, this guy is really making a big move.

This also explains Nero's reasoning for sending young girls with magical tools to hunt demons. It's possible that Nanna's power was so strong that even a corpse couldn't be easily approached, necessitating a "sacrifice" to her.

Little Ace deliberately released demons to fight them and watched them die, just to sacrifice them to Nanna, gradually weakening Nanna's resistance until it could devour her.

So now there is only one question left to be resolved: Was Toyokawa Shoko's successful fusion of power with Nana part of Little Ace's plan?
Depending on the answer, Ace's actions may change drastically, and Nero must choose different methods to lure the snake out of its hole.

Entering the Demon Realm and killing Nanna might solve the problem once and for all, but it wasn't an option—at least not yet. The situation wasn't so bad that Nero and Dante had to take the gamble of entering the Demon Realm without knowing if they could return.

However, Toyokawa Shoko's consciousness has been temporarily destroyed, and it may take some time for her to wake up again. This period should be relatively peaceful, so -

After dinner, Dante and Nero came to an abandoned factory together.

——So, Dante decided to have a little fun.

"Don't worry about hurting me." He carried the greatsword "Rebellion" and calmly opened his arms, facing Nero: "Attack with all your strength."

Incidentally, Dante hadn't had pizza for dinner in a long time, but he had to admit that Nero's cooking was quite good. He offered to give Nero some pointers, probably because of this meal.

"Then I'll start with warming up, uncle." Nero took out his weapon and politely indicated that he was ready to fight before swinging Echidna and killing him.

"Good timing!" Dante's eyes lit up.
While Dante once complained about the "Serpent Blade Echidna" being a bit weak, it was still a demon lord after all. As one of Nero's earliest magical tools, the serpent blade was indeed his most familiar weapon. While the soft whip sword couldn't break through the shells of powerful targets, its tricky, multi-angle, long-range attacks made it difficult to counter in close combat.

Nero controlled his whip sword, maintaining a distance of over three meters from Dante, continuously using the length of his whip to suppress his attacks. The turquoise scales on the whip pierced the air, hissing like a venomous snake, and surrounded Dante from countless directions.

In Dante's vision, the bladed whip first attacked from the upper left, but he easily blocked it with his sword. However, the whip-sword, which came with such force, wasted no time, not entangled with the "rebel" and delayed him. Instead, it struck the blade, sparking a trail of light, and then retreated like a sinister snake.

Then, Nero retreated and turned around, and the poisonous snake in his hand bit him from the right side.

Dante took a step forward, swung his sword, and collided with the venomous snake. However, the pliant snake bypassed Rebellion and kissed Dante's neck.

That's why he said "well come".

At that moment, Dante twisted his blade, attempting to entangle Echidna with Rebellion to suppress her. However, the snake retracted once again, and Dante dodged the accelerating blade with his head, severing several strands of her silver hair.

Realizing that a heavy weapon like a greatsword would be easily outmatched by the nimble accordion blade, Dante swung his sword and hooked it around Echidna's tail, sending Rebellion flying and deflecting her from her path. Then, instantly, two blade-like bone wings unfolded from his back, and from their tips, two straight swords shrouded in blazing magic energy were drawn. Nero managed to sway Rebellion's greatsword, which clanged and pierced the nearby wall.

The serpent's belly sword struck again. This time, Dante leaned forward, transforming into a streak of crimson light, flashing past the fastest whip tail and appearing on the snake's belly. Two longswords, shimmering with magical brilliance, appeared on either side of the whip, clamping it like chopsticks stirring noodles. Nero controlled the end of Echidna's sword and attacked Dante from behind, but Dante had already dropped his sword and dodged with a somersault.

Echidna returned, entwined with the two longswords. Knowing they could be detonated by Dante, Nero immediately raised her whip sword and swung it upwards. She then retracted the accordion and swung her staff, Samael, transforming it into a scythe and carrying it on her back.

A crescent-shaped blade appeared at the front of her left hand, illuminating her calves wrapped in stockings.

"Is it a sickle this time?"

Dante threw the two new swords at his feet, detonating them along with the two that had flown into the sky. Then, amidst the smoke and dust, a bright flash of lightning flashed.

The distorted overtones of a violent electric guitar echoed with the rumble of thunder, and countless electric currents pierced through the smoke and scattered everywhere. Nero swiftly dodged them, his bewitching scythe instantly piercing the depths of the smoke.

Dante swung his electric guitar and slammed it hard against the front end of the scythe. Nero, whose weapon was thrown upward, was forced to step back temporarily to maintain his balance.

The smoke cleared, and Dante turned around, holding the headstock of the electric guitar, and hugged it again. His fingers slid across the strings, playing a set of chords before quickly strumming a long, wild arpeggio.

As the pitch climbed, flashes of lightning enveloped Dante, growing stronger and stronger. Dante concluded the section with a higher-pitched, distorted overtone. Amidst the bursting current, a figure pierced through the lightning's cracks, and then the gleaming scythe reappeared at Dante's shoulder.

"What a beautiful dance!" Dante praised loudly, and instantly unfolded the guitar from the side, which also transformed into a scythe, with the back of the blade against the lower end of the scythe.

After a brief standoff, Dante pushed Nero's scythe away with force, then swung his weapon in a circle, striking the handle of the scythe in Nero's hand with the head of his harp, and then used the rebound force to hook the scythe blade towards Nero's waist. Nero put away the scythe, transforming it into a cane to block it behind him, blocking Dante's attack.

She then used her staff to hold down Dante's electrified scythe, using the momentum to do a backflip while transforming into Gilgamesh, kicking Dante in the chin with her spiked toes.

The hem of her skirt lifted, wrapping the long legs covered by Gilgamesh like a thorny flower. Dante also changed into the "Ifrit" boxing gloves he had found in the warehouse, and his flaming fists collided with Nero's toes.
