Chapter 1433 Ending
Batwoman's Diary:
Today marks my second year as a superhero. There's an old saying in China: "The beginning is always the hardest," meaning that anything is most difficult at the start.

I wholeheartedly agree. Whether it was using various tools, gathering information on the enemies, or dealing with my dual identity, all of these things kept me very busy.

However, I think I've now gotten past the toughest phases, and I'm becoming more and more adept at handling those troubles.

Oh right, these weren't actually the hardest. What I remember most vividly were my first two missions. One was facing the second personality of the most famous superhero Batman, and the second was even more outrageous, where I had to thwart the conspiracy of some dark cosmic emperor.

Fortunately, we handled both missions very well. Yes, as I mentioned in my previous diary, I have the best team.

Of course, I'll only say this in my diary. If I tell them directly, Robin will say something unpleasant again. He's been very annoying lately; boys going through puberty are probably all like that.

And he's been getting really close to that alien princess lately. (Erased)

Getting back to the main point, let's leave the first incident aside for now. The second incident gave me a very strange feeling throughout, you know?

The mission was going well when suddenly Flash Boy came running back. Robin, who was the captain at the time, was about to ask him what was going on.

Unexpectedly, the former didn't give him a chance to speak, and directly threw a long string of words in our faces, saying that he came back from the future and that doing what he said would definitely not be wrong.

It was utterly absurd, but we eventually chose to believe him, and it turned out he was right.

(Later I learned that the pulse was someone who traveled back from the future, which explains why everyone was able to accept it so quickly.)
We sent those long, disgusting alien bombs up to the watchtower, and then soon after, we enjoyed a cosmic-level fireworks display. Yes, we turned the watchtower into a thing of the past.

Good news! I didn't receive the bill from the Justice League. Another piece of good news! We saved the planet! Win-win! Wow!

When we finished what we were doing and ran to support our guardian, we found that everything was already over. That so-called cosmic emperor's head had been cut off. The scene was truly shocking.

To be frank, I'm not some kind of pervert who enjoys gore, but I find it hard to feel sympathy for invaders.

And then this seemingly far-fetched crisis ended, wow!

Afterwards, the Justice League returned to Earth in triumph. We won that cosmic war, and to this day and long into the future, Earth will no longer be targeted by those evil forces in the universe.

Another piece of good news: because we contributed a lot during that crisis, and because our guardian, Mr. Yang, put in a good word for us, our Young Justice League has been approved to become independent.

However, since the Young Justice League sounded like a subsidiary, we changed the name as well.

Titans, or rather, Teen Titans, that's our current name. It sounds much more imposing than before, doesn't it?

Robin, having discussed something with Batman, is no longer Robin; he has changed his name to Nightwing and become a completely independent hero. This news shocked everyone when it was announced.

It has to be admitted that since changing his codename, Nightwing has become more and more of a leader. He now manages the Teen Titans very well, and many new teenage and young superheroes have even come to join us.

Although we are not as large as the Justice League, we are already a force to be reckoned with.

Seeing how well we've done, many members of the Justice League are considering retiring.

For example, The Flash gave his codename to Kid Flash, while Kid Flash gave his codename to Pulse.

Superman had originally intended to retire, but considering various factors, Superboy ultimately declined the offer.

"No one in this world can replace you, at least I'm not qualified yet."

Superboy used that line to dissuade Superman from retiring, showing no consideration for the old man.

A few years ago, Aquaman also gave his codename to Aquaman, who had cleaned up his identity. The latter initially felt unworthy of the name, but accepted it after everyone's persuasion.

The generational shift is a truly thriving scene, but I've heard it's causing immense suffering for those supervillains. Perhaps in a few more years, no one will follow them anymore.

There's also some newer news: the child of the previous Flash has finally been born, much to the delight of Kid Flash (formerly Pulse), whose father has finally been born.

At the children's party, the new Flash finally proposed to Artemis. They're such an enviable couple, having just come of age.

Not to be outdone, Superboy also proposed to the Martian girl.

Many people present were caught up in the atmosphere and confessed their love or proposed to their partners, turning the child's 100-day celebration into a matchmaking party. Fortunately, the previous Flash couple didn't mind; they even jokingly called their children Cupid, bringing love to the right people.

By the way, someone even confessed their feelings to my good friend Cassandra. Of course, the person who confessed to her was also a teenager, and the two were the same age.

No one knows who brought this kid in, but in short, he's in a terrible situation because Cassandra has a horrible father.

That is Mr. Yang, the guardian we mentioned earlier.

After learning about this incident, Mr. Yang immediately transformed into a child and rushed over to give the little rascal who dared to harass his daughter a severe beating.

This is the first time I've ever seen such a perfect Superman punch in a fight between two twelve-year-olds. It's not nice to say, but the scene was really funny.

Having talked about the funny things, it's time to talk about the upsetting things.

I think my dad's suspicions about me have reached a breaking point. The excuse of staying overnight at a friend's house is about to stop working, and I guess he'll explode if I do it a few more times.

I really don't know how long I can hold on.

...

As she wrote this, Barbara put down her pen and rubbed her sore eyes. Since becoming a superhero, she had developed the habit of writing in a diary, where she would write down things she couldn't tell her family, as a way of venting.

Sometimes she even hoped that her father would find her diary, so that she wouldn't have to keep hiding it.

"Barbara."

Barbara turned around when her name was called and found Cassandra, dressed in a uniform, sitting by the window looking at her.

"Cassandra? What brings you here?"

"Your communicator hasn't been responding, so I applied to come and see you."

Upon hearing this, Barbara quickly retrieved the communicator she had hidden in a compartment on the table, and sure enough, there were already many messages.

"Sorry, I forgot to turn on my communicator after I got back. Give me a little time to change my clothes."

After a chaotic scene, Barbara managed to cobble together her uniform and left her house through the window with Cassandra.

"Haven't you told your dad about your second identity yet?"

In response to Cassandra's question, Barbara gave a wry smile and shook her head.

“I don’t have the guts to do that. I feel like my life would explode if I told him.”

“Sometimes I really envy you, Kawhi. You have such an enlightened father. I heard he’s even planning to give you the power he took from the Emperor of the Universe.”

"Come on, Baba," Cassandra frowned. "I heard that accepting that power will turn your skin as hard as stone. I don't want to."

The thought of Cassandra with her stone-like skin made Barbara burst out laughing, causing Barbara to roll her eyes repeatedly.

“My dad is really good, but lately I feel like he’s been controlling me way too much.”

"You absolutely mustn't let Mr. Yang hear what you're saying, or I bet he'll burst into tears."

“He wouldn’t.” Cassandra’s lips curled up slightly.

"But his birthday is coming up soon, so I plan to tell him this first, and then bring out the surprise I've prepared."

"No, it's more like a shock than a surprise. I feel like you're putting Mr. Yang's heart to the test."
