Chapter 41 Peter Parker's Life and Death

Chapter 41 Peter Parker's Life and Death

"Help me! Anyone, please come and save me!"

The panicked Mary Jane knelt on the top of the tower, her hands clasped in front of her chest, looking more like an opera performance than a cry for help.

"Roar!"

As if cooperating with the frightened Mary Jane, a gorilla about 3 or 4 stories tall climbed towards the top of the tower, approaching it at an extremely fast speed.

"No! Help!"

Seeing King Kong approaching, Mary Jane began to call for help even harder, but this still could not stop the terrible King Kong from approaching.

Just as the beautiful Mary Jane was about to die, a majestic and loud voice was heard.

“up up away (fly! Fly up to the sky!)!”

Passersby who appeared out of nowhere also uttered appropriate exclamations.

"Look, it's a bird!"

“That’s a plane!”

"No! It's Mr. Invincible P!"

Faster than a bullet and more powerful than a train, King Kong was shot down from the tower in the blink of an eye, and fell to the ground with a bang, unable to get up again.

"Mr. P, where are you?" Mary Jane, who had escaped from the trap, stumbled to her feet and looked around, trying to find the hero who saved her.

"What's the matter, Miss Beautiful?"

Just when Mary Jane was disappointed and thought that the hero had already left, a strong figure slowly descended from behind him.

Mary Jane turned around in surprise and looked at the hero who saved her.

Without his glasses, Peter Parker, who looked like a four-armed overlord, was looking at Mary Jane affectionately.

"It's you, my hero, my love, Peter."

Mary Jane's eyes were moist, and she covered her mouth with her hands as she slowly approached Peter.

"Yes, it's me, Mary Jane."

Peter also slowly flew towards Mary Jane and gently held her in his arms.

The two looked at each other in silence, but the burning love in their eyes did not need to be expressed. Mary Jane's eyes were full of longing and she tilted her neck, the meaning was self-evident.

The atmosphere was set at this point, and Peter did not refuse. He lowered his head and kissed Mary Jane.

The two were getting closer and closer, and just when they were about to touch each other, something unexpected happened.

Peter saw that the love in Mary Jane's eyes turned into a rushing waterfall, as if it was going to drown him.

It was drowning in the physical sense. Under Peter's horrified gaze, two torrents of energy suddenly shot out of Mary Jane's eyes.

Peter tried to resist, but his consciousness became increasingly blurred by the rushing water, and he tried to prevent himself from losing consciousness.

"what!"

Peter screamed and opened his eyes. Fine drops of water formed into pieces and flowed down from the top of his head, blocking his vision and making him unable to see his surroundings clearly for a moment.

"Cough cough!"

Because he was suddenly awakened, he was gasping for breath, and even inhaled water into his nose and mouth, choking him and making him cough.

Peter wanted to wipe the water off his face, but found that he couldn't move his hands, which scared him. He struggled to stand up, but found that he still couldn't do it. He got nothing but the creaking sound of struggling.

"Hoo! Hoo!"

Peter forced himself to calm down. As he calmed down, he found himself tied to a chair. As water flowed across his face, he gradually became able to see his surroundings clearly.

The dim light allowed him to only vaguely discern the surroundings. This seemed to be a warehouse, and the faint light was emitted by a flashlight not far away from him.

"Am I being kidnapped?"

Peter had just blurted out his question when he heard footsteps behind him. "Who? Who's there?"

The pressure of the footsteps behind him, coupled with the fear of the unknown, made Peter panic. He questioned the people behind him in panic.

"Help! Help me! Please~uh."

Peter, who received no response, chose to shout for help. However, before he could say a few words, the man behind him grabbed his neck, forcing him to swallow the cry for help back into his throat.

Peter felt like his throat was about to be strangled, and he seemed to think the person behind him was running away from something.

"Could it be a knife?"

Once this horrible thought took root, it only brought panic. Peter struggled desperately, and his throat, which was controlled, began to roar.

"Oh! Uh! Oh!"

The chair seemed to be welded to the ground. Peter struggled desperately but couldn't even move an inch. All he could squeeze out of his throat were a few broken screams.

Accompanied by a sharp pain, Peter felt a sharp object piercing his arm, followed by an uncomfortable feeling of foreign invasion. The man injected something into him!
Peter was desperate. Although he didn't know what it was, it was obviously not a good thing. He thought it might be some drug dealer who wanted to use him to test drugs, or it might be poison. In his despair, he thought of many things.

Uncle Ben and Aunt May, I don’t know what will happen to them if I’m gone.

Mary Jane, I just recently figured out what she meant, but it’s a pity there won’t be any follow-up.

Gwen, my best friend, is getting better and better at playing the drums. I wonder if she will marry Hubby in the future.

Hobby, my best friend, has changed me because of his appearance. He has saved me countless times. Unfortunately, this time, he can't make a brilliant appearance like the superheroes in the comics to save me.

"boom!"

A white light suddenly enveloped Peter, making it impossible for him to open his eyes. There was a loud noise, and then a strong wind blew in his face, making his mouth and eyes crooked.

"Ding! Gulu gulu."

The needle fell to the ground, and Peter felt his neck loosen. The man behind him was no longer controlling him, but he no longer had the strength to call for help.

He felt like he was injected with explosives and was about to flip over in pain.

"Peter, how are you? Peter!"

It was a shrill voice, Peter had never heard this voice before, but for some reason he felt familiar with it, and in a trance he seemed to see Yang Le.

"Happi..., save me, harpy..."

Yang Le, who had transformed into a flash star, looked at Peter anxiously. At this moment, Peter looked like a cooked prawn, frighteningly red.

"Why do speedsters always arrive a step late? Is this a curse?"

Yang Le cursed under his breath, stretched out his sharp claws to cut the restraints that were helping Peter, and then placed it on the ground.

"Omnitrix, what's wrong with Peter now."

"Detecting genetic mutants."

Gene mutation? Yang Le was surprised by Omnitrix's answer. He had been desperate and had tried every possible means, but he hadn't expected Omnitrix to actually give him an answer, and that Omnitrix could actually cure this disease.

"Repair the target gene! Quick!"

Yang Le was so anxious that his voice was almost lost. In his anxiety, he did not notice that a bug was quietly slipping away in the shadows.

"Can't do it."

"What? Why?" Yang Le asked in surprise.

"The target is in the process of mutation. If we forcibly repair the target gene at this time, it will cause irreversible damage, or even..."

"Kill the target!"

The cold and calm narration sounded deafening to Yang Le.
