What kind of people are humans under federal rule?

The "Time-Stealing Worm" truly loves humanity, and the love it gives to the "Human Federation" is incredibly profound.

Many people are thinking that this is too selfless, too sudden, and too complicated.

Since the "Time-Stealing Worm" is able to control time and space and has accompanied the Federation from the previous universe to this one, it is clear that it has a deep understanding of the Federation's history.

This deity didn't care that their civilization was such a complete interstellar tyrant, nor did they care how much blood of various races was on their hands.

His gaze toward humankind and civilization was so gentle and full of longing.

It seems that He only wants to selflessly shower His love upon every human being, without asking for anything in return, at least that's how it appears now.

He is so selfless that even though His appearance is so terrifying and enormous, it has shaken the hearts of some federal citizens, who can't help but subconsciously want to accept this love.

The "Hidden Worm" is clearly distinct from those ragtag alien creatures and beings outside the realm of gods!

The other party has done humanity a great favor!

Why can't they accept each other's love?

But there are also some rational people who are pondering the purpose of this love.

Is it the Federation's past, present, or future?

They don't believe there are free meals in the world.

For a time, two voices emerged within the Federation.

The two voices engaged in a heated argument in the Mind Dimension and on the Federal Communications Channel.

When Graywind, Hidra, and many other high-ranking federal officials learned of this situation, they all chose to remain silent.

It seems they don't know whether to accept the love of the "lurking insect" or choose to reject it in the opposite direction.

In the past, someone would have guided them to make a choice that satisfied everyone when faced with such a problem.

But that person is now just an empty shell, unable to give any response.

This internal dispute lasted for quite some time, perhaps a month, perhaps several months.

The "Hidden Worm" seemed very patient; it remained quietly in that star field, without making a sound, waiting for humanity to give it an answer.

But it seems He is going to be disappointed.

Ultimately, extreme rationality prevailed over those cowardly emotions.

At the strong suggestion of the high-ranking officials, Graywind, on behalf of the entire Federation, sent the following message to the "Time-Stealing Worm":
"No one can control our will, not even foreign races, not even our own kind, and certainly not even foreign deities!"

However, given that the "Time-Stealing Worm" had other uses, and at Hydra's suggestion, Graywind's subsequent declarations leaned more towards negotiation:

"The 'Time-Stealing Worms' will either follow the Federation fleet to expand its territory, or they will be reduced to dust by the naval guns!"

"Whether it is a living being, a machine, or even a so-called god, death is equal for all existence."

"We do not accept your love, but unless absolutely necessary, we also do not wish to fight you..."
