Chapter 13: More untouchable than the untouchable, more devilish than the devil

Weier walked to Gao Yi's side and whispered in his ear.

"Captain, everything is ready. The families of the selected soldiers have served the dynasty for generations. They are all reliable."

Gao Yi nodded silently.

"Scott, put down your work for now. I have something I want to ask you about the lower deck."

"I'm coming right away Captain!"

Hearing Gao Yi's call, Scott didn't know that danger had arrived. He walked quickly towards Gao Yi from the corner where he was meditating.

But just as they reached the aisle in the middle of the bridge, soldiers in combat uniforms suddenly attacked.

They rushed forward and instantly clamped Scott's arm, then pressed him directly to the ground. Even though Scott was a battle-hardened soldier and had undergone certain genetic enhancements, the physical strength of a mortal was still vulnerable in front of the combat suit.
