Chapter 332 The Awakening of the Undead

Chapter 332 The Awakening of the Undead
Meanwhile, on the outer star system of the Hades Galaxy, atop Pertita, which contains the world of the Necropolis in space.

Dozens of Terran bio-ships were orbiting in near-Earth orbit, searching for usable biomass for the Terran main force in Ixos.

The grueling battle at Ixos depleted a large amount of biomass from the Hive, making the Hive's will increasingly thirst for biomass.

A large number of spore drop pods have arrived on Pertita.

Countless small Terran units are hunting their prey.

Before Gao Yi arrived in the Hades Galaxy, Mellen had already transported over two million prisoners from Asford to this barbaric planet via warships. They were given some dilapidated laser rifles and enough supplies to last only a day or two.

Mellen also hoped to use them to buy time for Asford.

At this moment, these two million people are scattered across the planet, facing the Tyranids who are attacking them like prey in despair.

Their hand-operated automatic rifles and laser rifles were utterly ineffective in protecting them.

Originally, the Tyranids might not have cared about these biological materials, but now they don't want to waste even a tiny bit of the Hive's will.

Two million human prisoners are dying at an alarming rate.

Inside a mountain hollow, a dozen or so people were hiding.

They looked at each other and covered their mouths, not daring to make a sound. One after another, the sword insects flew over their heads and rushed towards the larger group of people ahead. But just when they thought they had successfully escaped the pursuit of these Tyranid creatures, they did not realize that the only way out on both sides of the ravine had already been blocked by a group of Tyranid sword insects.

By the time they discovered all this, it was completely too late.

The dozen or so humans tried to fight back, but even their only weapon malfunctioned and jammed!

Only then did they remember to pray to the emperor, seeking the protection of the great divine emperor.

But this time, it wasn't the God Emperor who responded to them.

Suddenly, the valley began to shake violently, and countless pieces of rock began to fall off the surrounding cliffs.

Dark, greenish-black undead constructs emerged from these rocks.

Clearly, these structures were already operational, and the gate-like structure formed a green barrier in the center in the next second.

From the barrier shimmering with dark green light, one after another space necromancers made of living metal began to emerge.

These undead warriors seemed somewhat clumsy due to their long slumber, even making creaking sounds from their joints.

The humans and Tyrannosaurus were stunned when they saw these space undead appear.

The prisoners never imagined that such terrifying beings would appear here, while in the eyes of the Tyranid creatures, these undead warriors were worthless inorganic matter.

When the Tyranid tentacles encounter the Necropolis world, they tend to avoid fighting it, as they gain no benefit from the Necropolis in space.

These emerging space necromancers are the most basic combat and surveillance units in this tomb world. When the Tyranid bio-fleet approaches and appears on a large scale on this planet, the tomb world's alarm system is activated.

The moment these necromancers, once fearful of the dead but now mindless killing machines, awoke, a destruction protocol was activated within their bodies. Their mission was to wipe out all life on the planet, including humans and these Tyranid beings.

Without hesitation, the necromancer launched an attack on all humans and Tyrannosaurus in sight.

Gauss weapons can easily destroy flesh and blood. And the awakened vigilant forces do more than that; undead constructs have been activated throughout the planet.

The battle on Pertita quickly turned into a massacre of humans and Tyranids by the undead. The dozens of small and medium-sized bio-ships did not carry enough Tyranid ground troops, nor could they produce powerful behemoth units.

The necromantic dynasty to which this place belongs is called the Mephistopheles dynasty, a necromantic dynasty that specialized in destroying stars during the War of Heaven.

They would destroy entire galaxies, including the Necromancer's enemies, by destroying stars.

However, even for the Necromancers of space, such behavior is despised. The destruction of a galaxy means that the once dominant Necromancers of the galaxy have lost a place to live.

Pertita belonged to a branch of the dynasty, which was ruled by a ruler named Zaratusa.

The French emperor of the Mephistopheles dynasty died in an assassination attempt by the Eldar, leaving the Mephistopheles dynasty without a de facto ruler to this day.

Their technology can easily catalyze stars into supernovae, while also making more efficient use of stellar energy.

The Magnificent Prism was their creation. It was originally part of a system for intergalactic stellar energy transmission. The humans in the Hades Galaxy merely borrowed this equipment without truly understanding the technology behind it.

However, while the battle outside was raging, an uninvited guest arrived in the tomb world.

The entire catacombs world is shaking, and the dormant undead creations are beginning to function again.

The guard force was awakened, but many more undead within the dynasty's core had not yet fully awakened. Most importantly, Zaratusa was still in his coffin, waiting for his self-awareness to return.

Two space ghosts were sneaking around in this tomb.

The metal scepter struck the obsidian floor with a remarkably clear sound.

"Sennett, look, this sleeping dynasty is awakening. Humans, the Terrans, and the dynasties of this world are engaged in battle."

"Lord Tarachin, this dynasty is now in a state of war. If we are discovered, we will be easily attacked."

"What's there to be afraid of? It's just a branch of a dynasty. I've even been inside the homes of astrologers. This place is nothing compared to what's here. Besides, the overlord here hasn't woken up yet. His awakening process won't be that quick."

As Tarachin spoke, he searched, as if trying to find something useful in this sleeping tomb world.

Tarasim soon made a discovery as he touched the undead creature before him.

"Hmm, it seems it's not just this dynasty that's been awakened; the alarm systems here are still sending signals outwards. Could this be attracting someone? Sennett, do me a favor and see who might be receiving these signals!"

Sennett reluctantly stepped forward and began to manipulate the undead creation before him.

"Lord Talassin, there are several dormant or active dynasties in the nearby star sector, but the most famous is the Traveler Anlakel."

“Anlakel?! I remember this guy. He’s like me. I collect treasures from other people, while he forcibly seizes the property of other dynasties. We have some similarities. If he confirms the situation here, he will definitely come over.”

He's obsessed with reviving the Fearful Ones and stealing the Silent King's job; he definitely won't miss this golden opportunity to gain troops! Cut off the alarm signals here! I don't want him competing with me for resources.
Although I'm not afraid of him, this guy is still a real pain!

Taracin gave the order to Sannet.

With a series of actions by Sannett, the warning signal abruptly stopped, and the surrounding Necropolis Dynasty could no longer receive the signals sent by the Morphlit Dynasty.
