Chapter 352 Weapons Originating from Humanity

Chapter 352 Weapons Originating from Humanity

The people of the Calicus sector and its extension regard Tyrant Star as a symbol of disaster.

It is known as Comos, and is described as a darkness that will eventually engulf the human world.

Before it appears above a planet, that planet will show many signs.

These anomalous events, known as Precursor Events, could be a surge in violence on a planet, or a burst of psychic activity.

People can become mentally unstable for unknown reasons.

Even newborn babies have birthmarks resembling bird claws...

And this birthmark is exactly the same as the mark on Pacini's body.

Before Tyrant Star arrives, people can see the celestial body burning with black flames on the surface of water, in mirrors, and even in drinking cups.

Besides these anomalies appearing in humans, they could also trigger geological disasters across the entire planet!

It could even release a toxic fog that could cover an entire planet.

Although Tyrant Star has only appeared within the Empire a dozen or so times, each appearance has been a disaster for the Empire.

Comos appears in different ways each time, but its pattern is usually that without any warning, a ghostly star that looks like it is emitting black flames and some kind of unknown mysterious radiation will naturally materialize within a planetary system, shine malevolently for a few days, and then mysteriously disappear without a trace.

The Empire's investigation also confirmed that it existed at least during the Eldar Empire period.

Records about it have been found on some Eldar ruins, and the Eldar inscriptions on those ruins are still sending signals into the void, telling their brethren to stay away from this star sector. This is also the reason why the Eldar in the Calithis sector are less active.

Some have even glimpsed the past and future from Tyrant Star... and there are manuscripts from unknown eras describing it as a place that no living being or even a god can return to.

And if we consider Pasini's actions... it is clear that he has a close connection with Tzeentch.

"Orville, shall we take a gamble? We have no other choice."

Clyde said to Ovid.

Ovid remained silent, but Pacini and Clyde knew that Ovid's silence was tantamount to agreement.

Ovid couldn't come up with a better solution. Perhaps if he could cover it up, it would actually work? He also didn't want to leave the star sector where his family had lived for thousands of years.

The three families reached an agreement and responded to Guilliman's invitation, but they also put forward their own conditions, namely that the meeting place would be in Sintila.

Meanwhile, the three families were also issuing summons to the other smaller navigator families that were affiliated with them.

Gao Yi and Guilliman were unaware of the plans of the three families.

Meanwhile, in the subspace.

The demonic realm belonging to the Four Gods has never been so close.

The convergence of four incredibly powerful demonic domains caused this subspace to churn continuously.

And at the relatively central location of the Four Divine Demon Realms... lies the tyrant star, Comos...

Since the defeat in the Cardia War, although the influence of the Chaos forces in the real universe has weakened, the evil gods have never given up.

Pacini was a spy planted by Tzeentch among the Navigators long ago.

Pasini was born during the appearance of a tyrant planet, and even the decreasing purity of the Ortelius family's bloodline, preventing the production of navigators, was due to Tzeentch's machinations. Forbidden powers are more readily accepted when humanity is in a desperate situation or unable to resolve its problems.

Under Pacini's covert manipulation, one of the largest navigator families in the expansion zone has unknowingly become Tzeentch's puppet as it attempts to perpetuate its lineage using forbidden knowledge.

If the Navigator family suspects that Gao Yi has mastered technology that does not require subspace travel...

After several great battles, the Four Gods were almost certain that humanity had acquired similar technology.

After all, when Gao Yi's warships were on long-distance voyages, the Four Gods' minions in the warp never detected them, and the projections of the Astronauts and Navigators in the warp were almost invisible throughout the entire Agathos.

However, they don't yet know what this technology actually is.

But whatever this technology may be, Tzeentch has keenly observed the problems with the Navigators within the Empire and the potential chaos it could cause. Given the current state of the Empire, the followers of the Four Gods have almost no chance of winning a large-scale war, and igniting these Navigators is arguably the most effective way to strike a blow against the Empire at this stage.

Not only in the expansion zone and Calicus, Tzeentch's actions were faster than Gao Yi and Guilliman had imagined.

The stronger humanity and empires become in the real universe, the more united the Four Gods become; they even temporarily set aside their eternal war.

The appearance of DOOM and Gao Yi's support for humanity truly made them feel the threat of death.

Even now, Khorne has not fully recovered, and the loss of faith in the real universe is far too severe.

At this moment, the power of the four gods simultaneously poured into Tyrant Star, causing its dark exterior to gleam with an eerie light.

This brought the spiritual energy of the entire planet to an incredibly terrifying level.

It is conceivable that if it were to reappear in the real universe, the disasters faced by the planets affected by it would far exceed those of the past.

Meanwhile, Tzeentch was in his own labyrinth, gazing at the Well of Eternity.

Peeking into the past and future, the records that even the gods could not undo correspond perfectly to the Well of Eternity before us.

At that moment, Tzeentch also looked into the well, where the black celestial body represented by Tyrant Star was reflected.

Tyrant is indeed a creation of Tzeentch through the power of the Well of Eternity, but it is not a purely warp creation.

It is impossible to project this volume of subspace matter directly into the real universe using only the power of the subspace. The laws of the veil between reality and the subspace will prevent it, just as they prevent the four gods from directly entering the material universe.

To release this amount of subspace energy into the real universe, a medium or container is needed.

With the power of the four gods infused into it, the black flames around Comos would occasionally extinguish, revealing its jet-black and smooth surface.

This means that Tyrant Star is not composed of pure psychic energy, but has a physical form.

This entity did not originate from any other alien civilization, but rather from humanity itself.
The origins of the tyrant do indeed predate the current empire, because it originated from humans of the Golden Age, and thus there were some records of it even when the Psionic Empire still existed.

Those golden beings who sought psychic powers and attempted psychic ascension created it with the help of the Iron Golems and the Stone Golems. It was originally intended as a weapon, a powerful planet-sized weapon capable of freely manipulating the power of the warp.

The Eldar Empire, which was adept at using psionic energy, was also one of humanity's enemies. The construction of this weapon, besides allowing the Golden Men to utilize the vast power of the warp, was also intended to fight against the Eldar Empire.

However, these golden figures were doomed to destruction the moment they pursued psychic ascension.

When Comos entered the warp under the control of the Golden Men, Tzeentch made his move.

However, Tzeentch cannot control the power of the Well of Eternity; he can only utilize it. Therefore, each appearance of Comos is brief, which is also Tzeentch's way of conducting his own trials and experiments.
