Chapter 77: The Book of Yama appears
The refining method of the five [Fate Patterns] was absorbed by [World Solution], and then caused a huge reaction with the [Taoist Book] talismans hidden deep within it.

Jing Qian's [Solution to the World] finally completed the last piece of the decoding puzzle.

After consuming a huge amount of [life essence] and deducing the "Blood River Impermanence Abyss Hell Dao Book" for more than half a year, all the hidden dangers were finally eliminated and he could practice.

However, this righteous Dharma inheritance that reaches the upper three levels has been completely transformed and given a brand new look.

The moment Jing Qian probed his spiritual consciousness into the [Taoist Book] in [The Solution to the World], he suddenly heard the sobbing of thousands of ghosts crying.

A scarlet, surging river of blood suddenly appeared in the sea of consciousness, then froze inch by inch, turning into a long, winding, muddy river that fell from the void, with countless bone boats looming in the turbid waves.

"Is this a Huangquan projection?"

Deep in his pupils, he reflected the wondrous sight of countless red spider lilies emerging from the water. Floating on the blood-red petals were words that resembled Buddhist Sanskrit and Taoist talismans.

The moment the first red spider lily touched the divine consciousness, three huge bronze wheels rolled over the sea of consciousness.

The past wheel sank to the bottom of the river, the present wheel hangs in the sky, and the future wheel is hidden in the void.

“Living beings are like mustard seeds, and samsara is like a millstone.”

A spiritual sound from the great way came inexplicably.

Jing Qian seemed to see himself dying in battle in his previous life, severing worldly ties while practicing Taoism in this life, and becoming a red spider lily swaying by the bank of the Forgetful River in his next life.

Countless threads of cause and effect suddenly tightened, pulling his soul towards the whirlpool in the center of the river.

Just when his consciousness was about to collapse, a [Qingping Sword Qi] pierced through the void and cut off the endless threads of cause and effect.

Another huge black hole suddenly appeared, and the [Sumeru] world opened its mouth wide, accommodating the entire Yellow Springs world inside.

[Solution to the World] Suddenly it turned into a small green jade boat.

Jing Qian stabbed out three drops of blood from his heart and dropped them on the bow of the boat. The blood beads actually blossomed into three golden lotuses.

The words in the Taoist book swam into his eyebrows like tadpoles, and only then did he understand the true meaning of this method.

With Jambu Bodhi as its root and the Nine Netherworlds as its veins, one can control the seals of the six realms of reincarnation when cultivation is successful.

This is the secret teaching of [Yambu Dao], "Yambu Cave Dark Wheel Dao Book"!
When the last "Feng" Taoist pattern was branded into the Purple Palace, Jing Qian's bones began to ring like jade chimes.

The originally ferocious and evil Huangquan Dao rhyme now revealed a bit of the solemn aura of the righteous gods of the underworld.

Eighteen bronze lamps suddenly appeared at the bottom of the river, illuminating a broken stone tablet with five ancient seal characters inscribed on it: "The Imperial Order of the Lord of Yamafu."

"So this [Taoist book] explains the cycle of life and death!"

Before he finished speaking, the entire Yellow Spring suddenly rolled back and transformed into a black dragon that was entwined in his dantian.

The petals of the other shore flower peeled off one by one, forming a twelve-petal lotus platform in the qi sea, in which the shadows of the Ten Kings of Hell could be vaguely seen standing there holding tablets.

Jing Qian sat quietly in the [virtual world] and did not move.

A [Taoist book] has completely occupied his mind, and a path to heaven has also been clearly displayed before him.

He was deeply immersed in the great and wonderful articles and could not extricate himself.

After being deconstructed by [Shijiejie], he easily comprehended and absorbed the main text of the [Book of Taoism]. The way forward for his cultivation was completely opened up, and the road to heaven was right under his feet.

For him, this was the most important spiritual enlightenment he had ever gained since his destiny was determined.

All the questions and unknowns encountered in daily practice can be found here.

Jing Qian no longer needed to seek outside, as this [Taoist book] seemed to contain all the true meaning of spiritual practice.

This time, he was in seclusion for a full ten days, and he didn't wake up until the middle of the twelfth month of the Yin year was over.

Jing Qian opened his eyes slightly, a trace of Taoism overflowing, his pupils were as black as ink, like a deep pool with no bottom to be seen.

I gained so much from this retreat.

He not only accepted the comprehensive inheritance text of "Yamfu Cave Dark Wheel Turning Book" in its entirety.

He also gained a thorough understanding of the key practices of the [Destiny] Realm and the [Dragon Elephant] Realm.

From this moment on, promotion to the eighth rank will no longer be difficult!
It was not until this moment that he finally realized how shallow his original knowledge of cultivation was.

He only thought that he had reached the perfect state of [Destiny], but in reality, he still had a lot of work to do.

The so-called "fate" is the wheel seal of the great way and the starting point of spiritual practice.

It is the first step for every monk to start his practice.

Different from Jingqian's original knowledge of cultivation, the "Yamfu Cave Dark Wheel Turning Dao Book" clearly records:

"Yamfu weaves clouds, using the stars as shuttles; the Purple Palace embroiders brocade, using the destiny disk as needle. The sutra says: 'The black silk thread begins three inches from the crimson palace, the destiny needle hidden in the ninth layer of the heavenly gate.' Magical power is like an ice silkworm spinning its threads, endless; destiny is like the pivot of the Big Dipper, forming faint patterns. Twist Kan and Li into two strands, wrap Xun and Zhen into twisted gold. A single needle crosses the Magpie Bridge, a half-thread pierces the ecliptic..."

Translated into adult language, it means:

"With magic power as thread and destiny as needle, we weave the Dharma image to capture the spirit."

When a cultivator succeeds in cultivating his essence and condenses the first [life essence], he can use the [life fire] to burn his body to determine his [fate].

From then on, he used [fate] as the needle of the avenue to weave his own path of cultivation.

[Destiny] The level of the grade represents whether the needle in your hand is sharp.

It determines how wide and high the woven road is.

During his previous practice, Jing Qian instinctively accepted that establishing a high-level [fate] would bring many benefits.

But apart from its great power, he couldn't tell what benefits it had in terms of spiritual practice.

It was not until he read through the "Yamfu Cave Dark Wheel Turning Dao Book" and obtained the profound discussion in it that he completely understood it.

Human cultivators practice Taoism under the guise of destiny. Each cultivator at the [Destiny] level has an upper limit on the number of [Destiny] that he can carry.

This is destiny determined by heaven and cannot be changed.

This is related to one's own talent and even more to the grade of one's destiny.

Every time one advances three levels in cultivation, the essence of life improves, and the [destiny] increases, so that more [destiny] can be accommodated.

If the [fate] has reached the upper limit, there will be no possibility of forging a new [fate].

In the "Yamfu Cave Dark Wheel Turning Dao Book", the predecessors spent endless efforts to deduce the connection between [fate] and [destiny], and then closely combined it with the method of cultivation.

For cultivators of the lower three ranks, the upper limit of their destiny is nine taels and nine qian, which is the fixed number of innate perfection.

However, as people grow up and are affected by external factors, no one can reach the upper limit of their destiny.

In this world, one's aptitude for cultivation is determined by [fate]. If one's [fate] exceeds four taels, one can enter the Dao and cultivate, gain a glimpse of the [Dragon Elephant] realm, and even burn out [lifespan] to achieve longevity.

Therefore, a [Destiny] of more than four taels is also called [Four Taels of Silver]. A cultivator with such qualifications can be called [Silver Talent]. This is the minimum requirement for cultivation.

If one's innate destiny exceeds six taels, it is called six taels of gold, also known as gold nature.

Such qualifications can easily support the advancement of cultivation to the middle third level, and even break through to the upper third level to dominate the world.

The level of [fate] corresponds exactly to the [fate] that can be carried.

It is recorded in the Taoist books that the fate patterns from White Teeth to Golden Roots all occupy a certain fate number.

Among them, a [White Tooth] fate grid occupies nine cents of [fate], a [Green Wing] fate grid occupies one tael of [fate], a [Blue Blood] fate grid occupies one tael and one cent of [fate], a [Purple Eyes] fate grid occupies one tael and two cents of [fate], and so on until the [Golden Root] fate grid occupies one tael and three cents of [fate].

By this calculation, the higher the rank of the [Fate], the higher the cost-effectiveness of occupying the [Fate Number].

The life of [Golden Root] is four cents more than that of [White Teeth], and its power is increased by more than a hundred times!
The amount of [Destiny] is extremely valuable. Even if you have just one more penny of [Destiny], it is possible to upgrade the original [White Fang] destiny to [Green Wing] destiny. The corresponding magical power will be greatly improved, and the upper limit of mana will be increased tenfold.

Therefore, for disciples of the great Dharma lineage who truly inherit the Dharma in an orderly manner, it is of vital importance to accurately calculate their [fate], combine it with the inheritance of the righteous Dharma, and build a suitable [fate] system so that their [fate] can be used to the extreme without wasting a single penny.

You must know that once a Fate is forged, it is irreversible. Finding a Fate that is both appropriate and suited to one's own individual needs is a rare opportunity for enlightenment. Fate is so precious that, in addition to careful planning and effective utilization, increasing one's own Fate has long been a key to cultivation, pursued by cultivators.

In this regard, there is also a clear discussion in the "Yamfu Cave Dark Wheel Turning Dao Book".

If you want to increase your [life], there are two core ways!

The first is to awaken the [lifespan] destiny, accumulate lifespan, and use this as the core to increase [fate]!
Among the many [fate patterns], the [life span] fate pattern is the most special. Not only does it not occupy the [fate number], but it can also increase its own [fate number] instead. The amount of increase just corresponds to the grade of the [life span] fate pattern.

At this moment, the [Green Wings] lifespan in Jing Qian's body can just help him increase one or two [lifespans], which is quite crucial.

In addition, if the accumulated life span is sufficient, the cultivator can increase one penny of [life] in a short period of time by burning sixty years of life span.

The [life] represented by this penny can only last for a short time. It seems useless and wastes one's lifespan.

But for cultivators who are truly ambitious, they will reserve a small gap in their own [fate] to make room for the last [fate].

This [Fate] must be cultivated to a high level, and after gathering all the [Golden Root] materials, one can try to smelt a [Golden Root] of Fate, which is the final step on the road of cultivation.

At this time, the consciously reserved gap in [fate] is certainly not enough to support the life of the [golden root]. The cultivator will rely on the [life span] fate. After accumulating the life span, he will burn several sixty years at a time to make up just enough [fate] to successfully smelt this [fate].

In this way, one can go beyond the limitations of one's own [destiny] and accommodate a more powerful [destiny].

In Taoist books, this method of overdrawing one's life span in exchange for temporary destiny is called "loaning life", which is quite descriptive.

Lending one or two cents of [Destiny] is pure profit. Some monks with profound background can make a huge profit by lending five or six cents at a time.

This is why the [lifespan] destiny is so important for the cultivation of cultivators.

The second core way to increase [Destiny] is related to [Inspiration].

In the "Yamfu Cave Dark Wheel Turning Dao Book", a large amount of space is used to discuss [inspiration].

This unique magical object is the true meaning of the Great Dao, condensed from the vital energy and magical power. It can arise from living beings, emerge from mountains and seas, descend from ghosts and gods, and be complete from utensils. It can be said to be all-encompassing.

Compared with ordinary magical instruments, the biggest difference between [Lingji] and the reason why it is separated out separately and given such a high status is that [Lingji] also has [destiny].

The monk suppresses the [Spiritual Inspiration] and uses his own lifespan to bear the consumption of the [Spiritual Inspiration]. In addition to having an additional magical tool, its greatest benefit is to transfer the burden of the [fate] of his own [destiny] to the [Spiritual Inspiration] to bear it.

This back and forth can refine more [fate], leading to a great increase in the foundation of cultivation!

For a ninth-grade [Destiny] cultivator, completing [Spiritual Inspiration forging destiny] not only allows him to obtain a [Spiritual Inspiration] guardian and skyrocket his strength, but also allows him to gain more [destiny] and refine more [fates].

A [Spiritual Inspiration] can at least share the [Destiny] corresponding to a [Fate]. This in and out naturally creates a huge gap between them and ordinary cultivators.

After Jing Qian carefully read these cultivation knowledge, he felt that his knowledge had greatly increased and his horizons had been broadened.

This set of cultivation paths composed of [fate], [fate pattern], life span and [inspiration] can be said to be complete, logically rigorous, all-encompassing and infinitely extending.

And this only discusses the path of cultivation for the lower three levels.

The next three grades of [Fu Ling], [Di Sha] and [Zhai Xing] are even more profound and indescribable, with a grand scale.

As for the path of cultivation of the upper three levels, it was too difficult for Jing Qian at that time. Even with the support of the [Tao Book], it was almost untouchable. As a result, the relevant knowledge was only stored in the [World Explanation], and he could only study it after his cultivation level was higher.

At this time, he already possessed seven [life grids]: [Sumeru], [Green Ping Mo], [Worldly Solution], [Tushita Furnace], [Wave], [Weaving Soul], and [Lifespan], which was a considerable number in the [destiny] stage.

But he had no idea how much [destiny] he had and how many [destiny] he could carry.

Even in this land of [Hunzhou], he had never heard of the method and opportunity to calculate [fate].

Jing Qian had no idea that the study of [fate] and the method of calculating [fate] were advanced knowledge that only the most top-level inherited lineages possessed.

It is also one of the moats that the top cultivation forces rely on to maintain their own cultivation status.

When cultivators of top-level lineages carefully select and build their own destiny system based on their own destiny and inheritance.

However, the independent cultivators accepted everything that came their way and would cultivate whatever [fate] they had, causing their own [fate] to be wasted on low-level [fate], with no possibility of advancement.

The gap between them is so big that it is unimaginable!
Moreover, the gap widened further due to the secret methods such as [Spiritual Creation] and "Loaning Life", making the Dharma cultivators and the independent cultivators seem like creatures from two different worlds.
An opportunity to calculate one's destiny can be considered the most important opportunity for cultivation in this world of cultivation.

This kind of opportunity is monopolized by the top-level Dharma lineages and is not easily revealed to casual cultivators.

As long as a cultivator masters the method of determining [fate], his status will immediately rise greatly.

This gave rise to a special profession called "fortune teller", which has a high status and is far superior to the fortune teller in the previous life who squatted on the overpass and wore sunglasses and was not very good at it.

There has never been a fortune teller in Hunzhou, and Jingqian has no way of knowing his own destiny.

Fortunately, in the "Yamfu Cave Underworld Wheel of Taoism Book", there is a "Reincarnation Fortune Telling Technique", which can check one's own [fate], the [fate] of others, the [fate] of fate, and the [fate] of inspiration. It is a top-level fortune-telling technique.

As long as you master this secret technique, you will instantly become an excellent fortune teller. Even if you go to the upper continent of the Divine Dynasty and come before the gates of wealthy families, you can go straight into the main hall and be treated as a guest of honor.

After Jing Qian obtained the [Taoist Book], he did not practice the true teachings of the Tao, but instead began to research a secret technique.

He possesses the [World Knowledge], and all observation techniques seem to be designed specifically for him. He can basically learn them once and use them immediately.

It only took him a stick of incense to master the art of fortune-telling through reincarnation.

He then used this secret technique on himself.

[World Solution] With its might displayed, the fortune-telling technique was easily controlled by it, as if the system had been upgraded and a new function had been added.

And all the information about his fate appeared before his eyes.

The first thing is your own destiny!
Jing Qian has been a human for two lifetimes, accommodating his past and present lives, and he also carries the [Sumeru Avenue Stele] to suppress his practice.

His own [life number] is as high as eight taels and nine cents, which is no longer [six taels of gold], but [eight taels of gold].

This kind of [destiny] has reached the upper limit of the [destiny] realm. After that, one only needs to steadily advance to [Dragon Elephant] and [Longevity] to easily reach the ultimate [destiny] of the lower third grade, nine taels and nine cents.

He was extremely talented and could sit in the first row at the academy's banquets.

In addition, he already possessed the Green Wings [Lifespan], which added one tael to his [Life Number]. The total amount of his [Life Number] at the moment was nine taels and nine cents.

Let’s look at his fate [destiny]!
The destiny of [Heaven's Fate], which is not mentioned in the two [Taoist Books], [Sumeru] and [Qingpingmo], each occupies one tael and five qian of [destiny], totaling three taels.

This is two coins more than the life of [Golden Root], which is extremely valuable.

The lives of the two [Golden Roots], [Worldly Solution] and [Tushita Furnace], each occupy one tael and three qian of [life number], totaling two taels and six qian.

The fate of [Wave] has advanced to the level of [Purple Eyes]. Although it has not been finally achieved, it has already occupied one ounce and two cents of [Fate].

The fate of [Weaving Soul] is inferior, occupying one tael and one penny of [Fate].

At this point, his entire [fate] occupies a total of seven taels and nine cents of [life number].

If Jing Qian follows his ideal state, all low-level [fates] will be upgraded to the [heavenly destiny] level.

Just these six [Fate Grids] will take up nine taels of weight.

Without the help of [Inspiration] and [Lifespan], his practice space would have been locked, leaving no room for maneuver.

Thinking of this, Jing Qian couldn't help but break out in a cold sweat.

This is precisely the limitation of independent cultivators. Without the guidance of inheritance, they move forward recklessly and may fall into a trap without knowing it.

Once you realize that your path to spiritual practice is blocked, it will be too late to regret.

Even though Jing Qian possessed the [Sumeru Avenue Stele], he was able to push his low-level [fate] all the way to [destiny], which can be said to be a miracle of his great strength.

However, if the [fate] is not compatible enough with the inherited Dharma, and a perfect Dharma image cannot be formed, it will pose a huge hidden danger to subsequent practice.

Fortunately, there is still a chance to save everything.

Jing Qian then set his sights on [Lingji].
