Chapter 51: Unable to Fight Again (Part )

A note: I've seen a lot of comments expressing strong dissatisfaction with the gun jamming scene in the previous chapter, calling it idiotic. Actually, I wanted to write about some of the bizarre practices in India. Things like rampant kickbacks in equipment procurement and poor maintenance lead to poor quality, resulting in guns falling apart and cannons exploding. So, I think the protagonist's gun jamming is okay, right? Remember, this is India; anything can happen. For example, the Black Cats snipers were stationed in their designated positions, but they never fired a single shot. The reason was that their sniper scopes were too low-quality, with insufficient magnification, and they couldn't distinguish between terrorists and hotel guests. It's just outrageous! This is India's most elite counter-terrorism unit, and their equipment is so shoddy, that's why it's so bizarre. Don't judge it by the standards of a normal country. The Black Cats are just India's own self-promotion; their training and equipment are far inferior to those of comparable international counter-terrorism units. And some people think the plot isn't exciting enough, but the protagonists can't really fight terrorists head-on, so a bit of a sleazy scene is normal, right? Without thinking too much, Rotun threw the submachine gun in his hand at the terrorist.

Rotten felt severe pain all over his body, as if he was falling apart, but he couldn't lie here because it was too open. There was a terrorist upstairs. He could see him just by looking down from the corridor above. If he shot him, he would definitely die.

Fortunately, I grabbed the railing on the third floor in time.

As for telling Yunando that he didn't have the strength to hold on to the railing, that was a show effect, which would add to his heroic deeds in the future, because Yunando's camera was facing him.

Falling down, this is the retreat that Rotun wanted for himself, which makes it even more tragic.
