After Wei Xiaobao and his two companions left Hangu Pass, they sailed north to Jizhou. Chang'an was already in chaos. Jia Xu, worried that Wang Yun would punish the Xiliang soldiers after killing Dong Zhuo, reported everything to Li Jue and Guo Si the night they escaped.
