Chapter 110, Page 109: [Imperial Dew]

Although they came to plot against someone else's business, the abbot of Feiyun Temple was not a reckless person.

Not long after setting off from the banks of the Oujiang River, he took out a stack of talismans from his pocket and distributed them to his disciples. The disciples then folded the talismans into triangles and swallowed them, transforming themselves into the appearance of monkey demons.

A dozen or so monkey demons of various sizes stood together, looking wild and exuding a sinister aura.

This was the disguise of the Feiyun Temple group—a group of monkey demons whose lair was located in Yandang Mountain, Wenzhou.

These mountain demons don't usually interact with the monsters along the Oujiang River, so they don't need to worry about being recognized.

Although this disguised identity did not earn them an invitation from Miaochan Temple, they also did not receive a share of the money from the Oujiang River's water transport this year.

But guests are guests, and if someone just wants to go in for a drink, Miaochan Temple has no reason to turn them away.

After tidying up, the monkeys continued their ascent up the mountain.

As they walked, they discovered that today was indeed the annual grand event of the Oujiang River, as they frequently encountered monsters coming to the feast along the way.

Under the frosty moonlight, the lush foliage on both sides of the mountain road cast patches of shadow, dividing the neat stone path into sections.

A beautiful woman was walking alone on the road. She was dressed in thin clothes, her face was covered by a paper fan, and her whole body was filled with a cool fragrance and ghostly aura. When she turned her head and smiled, several disciples with shallow cultivation lost their minds.

A drunkard with a dog's head on his head was lying unconscious on the roadside, clutching a gourd of wine in one hand and a braised pork knuckle in the other.

There was a giant snake with arms and legs, wearing a brocade robe that couldn't be stretched out. When it saw a monster passing by, its green eyes gleamed with a greedy, cold light.
A fish demon with a fish head and a human body, the size of a child, wielding a steel fork;

A three- or four-year-old child, hopping and skipping, with a ghostly blue flame burning on his head;
A bald kappa, soaking wet and constantly dripping with water;
An old woman with a cane who never looks up at people;
……

These monsters attending the banquet appeared to be of various kinds, some ferocious, some eerie, and some foolish...

However, the fact that they could come to Miaochan Temple to drink the red wine meant that they loved money and could communicate with each other. Therefore, the monkeys did not encounter any fighting along the way.

After the group made a sharp turn on the mountain road, they arrived at a spacious platform. Looking up from there, they could see a straight stone staircase that was a hundred feet long and two feet wide.

At the end of the stone steps, the vermilion gate of Miaochan Temple stands open.

After entering the main gate along the stone steps flanked by burning braziers, the square in front of the hall became even more vibrant.

Perhaps there weren't enough stoves in the kitchen, because bonfires were burning in the square, roasting whole lambs.

They also set up large pots, with chunks of fatty meat simmering inside.

A slaughtered ox had just been dragged out by the monks when it was torn to pieces and swallowed by several monsters who loved to eat raw meat and drink blood.

Amidst the bright lights, demons and monsters indulged in revelry: headless evil spirits; wood sprites wielding knives; fish demons with arms growing from their eyes; obese pig demons that had transformed into their original forms; drowned ghosts enveloped in spherical streams of water... a dazzling array of creatures that overwhelmed the eye.

In the square, a group of monks, clearly possessing spiritual cultivation, were chatting and toasting with familiar demons, creating quite a lively scene.

Looking at the chaotic scene of demons dancing before him, the abbot of Feiyun Temple, who was at the Wind Tribulation Realm, secretly transmitted his voice to his disciples who had transformed into monkey demons.

"Today's matter is of great importance. During the banquet that follows, you must not drink alcohol, lest you cause trouble."

We rested and recuperated during the meal, waiting for the right opportunity.

After the second-tier demons on the Oujiang River and the abbot of Miaochan Temple appear, I will first assess their strengths and weaknesses before making my move.

After the disciples agreed, they found a few empty tables in a corner of the square, pretended to be ignorant mountain demons, and began to eat the food and wine on the tables.

Clang— Shortly after they took their seats, a deep bell suddenly rang out from the temple.

As the bells rang three times, the noisy square gradually quieted down.

All the people and demons present looked towards the main hall of the square, and saw a group of monks escorting a short child with long flowing hair to the main seat at the banquet.

Standing at the highest point and looking down at the entire venue, the child was not in a hurry to take a seat. Instead, he smiled and looked up at the bright moon and sparse stars in the sky.

"Three demon kings, now that you have arrived, why do you not show yourself and take your seats?"

"Haha, you have a good eye!"
Rumors circulated throughout Wenzhou that the new abbot of Miaochan Temple was a young boy, unruly and unfit for the position.

Seeing you today, I realize the rumors are false. The abbot truly is a born Buddhist.

Amidst the laughter, three dark spots gradually appeared in the bright moon in the sky, growing larger and larger.

Finally, they transformed into three demonic shadows and landed directly in the three seats closest to the main seat.

The three demons were all half-human, half-demon: a furry black bear that stood upright, a burly man with a wolf's head and a human body, and a thin boy covered in white scales.

It was none other than the Black Wind Monster, Ling Xuzi, and the White-Robed Scholar, the three demons of the Oujiang River.

To some lesser demons with low cultivation levels, these three demons were indeed incredibly powerful, as if they had descended from the moon palace.

Among the humans and demons present, only the abbot of Feiyun Temple belatedly realized that the three demons had been flying hundreds of feet in the sky beforehand and had used an extremely sophisticated illusion technique.

However, the abbot of Miaochan Temple was able to see through the three demons' tracks, while he himself could not. This made him secretly alarmed, and he immediately used his spiritual eye technique, which he had cultivated for many years, to look at the person in the main seat.

But in the end, all we saw was an ordinary little child.

However, those three second-tier demons possessed extremely profound demonic power and exceptionally strong physiques.

The abbot of Feiyun Temple was confident that if he were to fight him one-on-one, he could barely win, but if he were to fight three against one, he would undoubtedly lose.

The abbot's cultivation level made him feel uneasy. Just as he was wondering if his trip to Miaochan Temple was a mistake, the banquet continued.

After exchanging a few pleasantries with the three demons, the young abbot clapped his hands and summoned a group of monks carrying wine jars to pour wine for the demons.

The wine poured from the jar was golden in color, emanating a rich spiritual energy and a chilling aura, causing the monsters present to secretly gasp in astonishment.

"This is the flowing wine of our temple. During the brewing process, the Emperor's flowing juice is added. Drinking it can nourish life, harmonize yin and yang, and replenish vital energy. It is truly a top-grade spiritual wine."

Today, all of you have gathered at my Miaochan Temple to share the wealth earned last year. This is a joyous occasion; let us first drink this cup to the brim.

All those present were demons. Upon hearing that the wine contained the essence of the moon, Emperor's Dew, some impatient demons immediately picked up their cups and drank it down in one gulp.

Upon tasting the wine, a chill first spread rapidly throughout the body, and then flowed into the Yin spirit.

With a clear mind, a comfortable feeling throughout the body, and a calm mind and body, my demonic power has increased significantly, and my physique has been purified.

For some reason, I felt a vague sense of being bound...
