Chapter 93 Saving a Life

Bai Furong had no idea what had happened in the courtyard. After coming out of the small kitchen, she pulled Bai Wanqing to find a secluded spot to sit.

"Big sister, I begged my aunt for a long time yesterday, and today's banquet is full of dishes that you and I both love," Furong whispered to Bai Wanqing.

Bai Wanqing looked at her with amusement, "I'm afraid they're all your favorite foods."

Furong smiled and said, "It's not just me. I also asked the kitchen to make some of my husband's favorite dishes. I'll have someone deliver them to him later."

Bai Wanqing joked, "My second sister is the most considerate of people."

Bai Furong gently patted Bai Wanqing and said shyly, "Big sister."

"Alright, alright! I won't say anything more to you." Bai Wanqing said as she put a piece of meat on her plate.

Bai Furong immediately forgot about being teased earlier and happily started eating. However, as soon as Bai Wanqing looked up, she met the gaze of Cheng Susu from the next table.
