Conquer Europe from the West

Chapter 19 You shouldn't lie, soldier

Ryan found that no one responded to his shout of "girls". Apparently, there must be a training procedure for verbal attacks in this world.

At the same time, everyone, including McIver, immediately hung black bayonets on their GW98s.

The sound of ejection followed, and the sound of the bolt being pulled for the last check to see if there were any remaining bullets in the chamber disappeared. Everyone present had made all preparations before the battle.

Ryan looked at the map again.

In the three-dimensional building layout diagram, the three red dots occupy each of the three floors and are all in the room.

Pulling his consciousness back into the tunnel, Ryan immediately said, "Wolf, McIver, you two will take the lead. You know what to do, right?"

"I know!" Wolfe replied quickly, "Poke it in the stomach, twist it, and pull it out!"

When McIver heard this, he immediately turned around and glared at Wolfe, then kicked him in the calf.

"Why did you kick me?"

Wolfe covered his calf and glared at McIver.

Seeing this, Ryan immediately pulled the two apart and said to Wolfe alone: "Aim at the lungs, go in, and come out immediately. Don't stop, otherwise the enemy will scream, understand!"

"I see! I learned that!"

Wolfe immediately put down his gun and saluted Ryan, but his hand hit the wall with a dull thud, and he shrank back, looking like he was in great pain.

Ryan and the others were a little overwhelmed by his appearance. In desperation, Ryan could only make a get-away gesture to Wolfe and snatched Wolfe's rifle.

Heavy and sinking.

he thought.

This was his first time holding a bolt-action rifle like the Gw98.

Although, just like when he got the pistol before, Ryan mastered all the operating skills the moment he held the rifle, even including all the bayonet tactics, he still couldn't get used to this kind of thing.

But the arrow is on the string and must be shot. If they don't attack back to the command post now, the enemy airship will inevitably become a nightmare for the Imperial Army.

McIver noticed a strange smell emanating from Ryan, and he couldn't tell whether it was fear, excitement, or hesitation.

But he still pushed Ryan's arm: "Lieutenant, it's time."

"Yes!" Ryan came back to his senses immediately.

He looked up at the stairs and the secret door at the top, then turned his head to look at the soldiers behind him, and the observer lieutenant who was wearing his lieutenant uniform, his face full of resistance, but still holding the dagger tightly.

"Let's go."

"Yes!" Everyone lowered their voices and spoke in unison.

Leave immediately.

Holding the rifle in one hand, Ryan used his hands and feet to climb up the almost vertical stairs leading to the ground.

Only half of the secret door is left now - the other half must have been blown up by the booby trap he planted.

Ryan did not stick his head out immediately. He first used his bayonet to push open the half of the tunnel door.

Crunch-!
The shaft makes a screeching sound.

Suddenly, everyone held their breath.

This made Ryan stop immediately and check the system map.

Fortunately, the red dot in the room did not respond.

He breathed a sigh of relief, and the sound of his sigh spread throughout the tunnel and disappeared into the endless shadows.

He exerted force in his hands again.

Suddenly, a bloodstained black hand drooped from the crack in the door.

The hand hit Ryan's face directly, and blood covered half of his face.

But Ryan was not afraid, he was even a little excited.

Because Ryan remembered this hand.

This was the hand of the Farlan soldier whom he had booby-trapped before.

The bodies were not moved away, which meant that the Farlanes never dared to move forward again after being bombed once.

That means there are no booby traps.

Without hesitation, Ryan immediately used both hands to lift the door panel of the secret door.

McIver was startled by his action and almost reached out to grab Ryan's leg, but Ryan was faster than he thought.

Without giving McIlwain any chance to react, Ryan immediately crawled out of the tunnel and leaned against the glass window that had long been blown apart.

The air was filled with a disgusting smell of blood and stench, and from time to time the sound of Farlan soldiers walking overhead could be heard.

Ryan looked around and found that the bodies on the ground had been dealt with cleanly, only those around the secret door had not been dragged away.

The doors of the first few rooms were blown into many pieces of broken wood by grenades, and the broken wood was scattered all over the floor, leaving only the piece of wood connected to the hinge.

Suddenly, the voice of a Farlan soldier came from the room in front.

Ryan knew very little French, but he had no use for it yet.

He turned around and made a gesture to McIver who had already stuck his head out, saying "The enemy is in the room ahead, follow me closely", then he tiptoed to the door of the room with his rifle in hand.

McIver was even faster than him - the kid took off his shoes and moved across the wooden floor in his socks.

The two of them stood guarding the door, one in front and one behind.

Ryan confirmed the location of the person inside again and found that he was less than two meters away from the door.

He leaned his back against the wall, poked McIver with his finger, and said in a voice only he could hear: "I'll break the door, you rush in."

McIver patted Ryan's shoulder, and the hand holding the bayonet continued to exert force, and the knuckles turned white.

He had never fought hand-to-hand combat.

But it's too late to say that now.

Because Ryan was already standing in front of the door.

Snapped!
He kicked the door open, and the already shaky wooden door immediately fell to the ground, raising a large cloud of dust.

McIver took a deep breath, steeled his head, and rushed into the room with his gun in hand. However, he tripped over the threshold as he entered, and hit the Farlane man who turned around suddenly because of the sound of kicking the door.

The two men fell to the ground with a thud. The Farlane man wanted to fight back, but found that his rifle had fallen aside. He quickly kicked McIver who was holding his legs.

But he stopped immediately.

Because Ryan had already put the bayonet to his chest.

"Do not kill me!"

The Farlane immediately raised his hands, even though he was still lying on the ground.

He even lowered his voice deliberately, fearing that Ryan would suddenly attack.

Ryan ignored him because he didn't understand Farsi at all: "Sergeant, get up."

McIver used his hands and feet and fluttered several times before he got up.

Seeing this, the Farlane repeated it to Ryan again, but this time in Imperial language, his voice just as soft as before: "Please! Don't kill me!"

Ryan didn't answer him, but instead asked a few questions: "How many people did you deploy here? How many are left now?"

"Not many! Half a squadron!" the Farlan soldier said in panic, "There are only 90 left."

"How many people are still in the building? Is there anyone guarding outside?" Ryan asked.

The Farlan guy was stunned for a moment, then said, "There's no one here, no one outside, I'm the only one here."

But randomly, a voice came from upstairs.

"Patrick, comment cela? (What's going on?)"

The Farlan man stopped talking immediately. He looked at Ryan, then at McIlwain, and took a deep breath.

But Ryan used his own weight to press the bayonet into the man's chest and then immediately pulled it out.

His movements were so fast that the Farlane collapsed to the ground immediately. The air that had been sucked in earlier leaked out, and dense blood foam and bubbles surged out, making a sound like a balloon leaking air.

At the side, McIver immediately covered his mouth with his hands and, in front of the Farlan guy, spoke a vague but loud voice in Farlan to the upstairs: "It's okay, I fell and broke the door!"

"Be careful!"

The person upstairs replied, completely unaware that the person speaking was an enemy.

Ryan continued to look at the Farlane man lying on the ground and about to die, his voice cold.

he said.

"You shouldn't lie, soldier."
