Chapter 100 Shocked Ma Long

Lyon, who was well prepared, rode his bicycle all the way to the northern foothills. He didn't encounter any accidents on the way. He only had to get off the bicycle and carry it up the steps connecting high and low slopes occasionally. But overall, it was still much faster than walking.

When Lyon saw the only house in the northern foothills, he knew that he was almost at his destination.

Seeing Leon pushing a bicycle over, Linus raised his hand and signaled to Leon. When Leon came over, Linus spoke first.

"Your intuition is very accurate." Leon replied to Linus with a kind smile. Facing this wild boss whom he had identified, Leon naturally would not neglect him because of his sloppy appearance.

"I just made an analysis based on your grandfather's personality. It's obvious that you are indeed his grandson. You two have basically the same personality and are both keen on adventure." Linus also smiled at Leon and continued.

"I've already informed Marlon to wait for you in the mine. He heard that you might enter the mine, so he specially prepared a gift for you. It will be helpful for your journey into the mine."

"Ma Long?" Leon asked in a puzzled manner.

"Well, the president of the Pelican Town branch of the Explorers' Association is an experienced and outstanding explorer, as well as a battle-hardened warrior. You can have a good chat with him about the mines and keep in mind the advice he gives you. These advice will help you protect yourself in danger." Linus explained patiently.

"Thank you for your help, Mr. Linus." Leon thanked Linus sincerely. The old man looked quite lonely and difficult to get along with.

But Linus really cares about himself.

"Don't call me sir, just call me Linus." Linus shook his head, then his expression became much more serious. "Although the mine is rich in minerals, there are also many monsters. I hope you act according to your ability. When you encounter danger, you should escape at the first opportunity. This is not a sign of cowardice. Only wise people can live long. Remember, safety first."

"I will." Leon nodded, then pushed the bicycle in front of Linus. "Linus, can you help me keep this bicycle? It's not convenient to take it with me when I go to the mine."

"Leave it to me. I'll wait for your safe return at my camp." Linus didn't refuse Leon's request. After taking over the bicycle, he encouraged Leon: "Keep going. I wish you a satisfactory harvest in the mine."

However, Leon was not scared away. Instead, he strode forward, the life insurance of the forest magic giving him enough confidence.

After entering the mine, Leon discovered that there was a huge difference between the inside and outside of the entrance. From the outside, it was pitch black inside, but at the top of the mine, there was a chandelier hanging, and the light provided by the chandelier could even allow Leon to see the specific situation inside the mine entrance.

"You're a good young man, very courageous. Usually, people who try to explore this abandoned mine retreat because of fear of the unknown when they can't see clearly inside the mine from the door. You can come in without fear, which proves that you do have the courage to explore underground."

While Lyon was still looking around, a man wearing a green shirt, a red cloak, white hair and beard, and an eye patch walked in from outside the mine and praised Lyon.

"You must be Mr. Ma Long." Lyon looked at the old man and did not dare to look down on him. After all, he did not hear any footsteps before the big man spoke. Even when he looked directly at Ma Long, he felt a strong sense of crisis.

This made Lyon unconsciously take a half step back, while leaning forward, with the muscles in his free right hand tensed, ready to take out the Galaxy Watermelon Knife from the system backpack at any time and attack Malone.
