A farming master in Stardew Valley

Chapter 117 Something’s wrong with you

Chapter 117 Something’s wrong with you
Emily didn't notice Clint's loneliness. Leon saw it, but he didn't know what to say because Emily was there.

Fortunately, Gus pressed the bell in the kitchen at this time to remind Emily to serve the food. While Emily was away, Leon spoke to Clint.

"Thanks, Clint. I've got the money and ingots ready, so I'll have to ask you to help me upgrade my tools."

"Well, you can come to the blacksmith shop to find me anytime when you are ready. As for the method of making the furnace, I will send it to you tomorrow." Clint nodded, not very interested.

"Okay. By the way, there is one thing I have to tell you. I gave the straight sword you gave me to Abigail." Leon looked at Clint and felt a little embarrassed, but he continued to speak.

"What if you encounter monsters when you go down the mine?" Clint didn't care about Leon transferring the things away. After all, the things were already given to Leon, and it was Leon's business how to deal with them. He was more concerned about how Leon, who had no weapons, would deal with the monsters in the abandoned mine.

"I have a better weapon. Have you heard of the Galaxy weapon?" Leon replied. Clint's righteousness made him feel that this honest and simple blacksmith was worthy of friendship.

"Of course, the most powerful weapon in the world is only a reward bestowed by Ba to his followers. It is a top-level weapon that only the most talented and powerful can possess." As a blacksmith, Clint is naturally familiar with galactic weapons.

As they talked, Clint realized the subtext of Leon's words: "So, you got the galactic weapon?"

"Yeah." Leon nodded. "That's why I gave the straight sword to Abigail. It's not because I'm tired of the old and love the new, but because Abigail loves adventure, but she doesn't have any reliable weapons. With that well-crafted straight sword, she will be able to better deal with danger when she encounters it."

Listening to Leon's explanation, Clint smiled and said, "It's okay, Leon. Now that I've given you that weapon, it's yours. You can do whatever you want with it. And it's also a good gift for Abigail. She's come to my blacksmith shop several times, asking me to make her a weapon, but I couldn't help her because of Mr. Pierre's warning. Now that you've given her that weapon, you've actually helped me solve the problem."

"So, I gave away a weapon for free, and I might even be blamed by Mr. Pierre?" Leon didn't know this and suddenly felt a headache.

"Then I don't know." Clint replied with a cheerful smile while holding his beer.

"Forget it, let's take it one step at a time. Pierre and I still have a cooperation in seed purchasing. He shouldn't bother me because of this matter." Leon said with a shrug, and at the same time he began to think about visiting Pierre's seed store when he had time.

On the one hand, he wanted to see if Pierre had discovered that Abigail had taken a dangerous weapon from him, and on the other hand, he wanted to say hello to Abigail's mother Caroline. After all, Leon was still very interested in this lady's private tea room.

He has no interest in coffee or anything like that, but tea was once one of the indispensable drinks in his life.

"What are you talking about?" At this time, Emily had already come over with the potato pancakes and fish fingers ordered by Leon. Seeing that Leon and Clint seemed to be chatting happily, she asked.

"Just chatting." Leon said perfunctorily.

Clint looked at Emily, thought for a moment, and finally returned to his previous corner quietly, drinking his beer alone.

Looking at Clint leaving, Leon sighed. With Clint's personality, his success rate in pursuing girls is basically zero.

However, Leon did not intend to interfere in such private matters, and it would probably be useless to interfere. He had not forgotten what Emily said when they went to the Calico Desert last time.

Emily knew that Clint had a crush on her, but in Emily's opinion, Clint was not her type at all.

"The falling flowers have feelings, but the flowing water is ruthless."

After mentally summarizing Clint's situation, Leon picked up his knife and fork and began to work hard on his meal. The hash browns were made of potatoes and deep-fried, giving them a crispy texture. Paired with freshly fried fish, Leon was very satisfied with the meal.

The high-calorie combination of carbohydrates and fats perfectly filled Lyon's empty stomach after a day of eating bread. Lyon was not afraid of getting fat because of these foods. Life on the farm always made him consume as much as he ate, not to mention that Lyon was a man who could not sit still.

"What are you looking at?" Leon, who was full and satisfied, noticed that Emily was staring at him and asked in confusion.

"Nothing." Emily withdrew her gaze and answered casually.

"Now that you're done eating, are you going back to rest?"

"Well, after all, it's been a busy day. I should go back, wash up, and go to bed early so that I can have enough energy to face the farm work tomorrow." Lyon replied.

"You should have a good rest. By the way, can you come to my house tomorrow?" Emily suddenly said.

"What's wrong?" Leon looked at Emily puzzled.

"Here's the thing, the roof of Haley's and my house has some leaks, but neither Haley nor I know how to fix it, so I'd like to ask you for a favor," Emily explained.

"Repair the roof? Why not ask Robin?" Leon asked back.

"It's just a small problem. I just need to replace a few tiles." Emily said, "Of course, in return, how about I prepare a big meal for you at noon?"

"There's something wrong with you."

Leon looked at Emily. If it was just changing the tiles, basically just having hands would be enough, but treating her to a big meal just for a few tiles, wasn't that just making dumplings for a dish of vinegar?
"Huh?" Emily looked at Leon in confusion, not quite understanding what Leon meant.

"Then I'll go after I finish my work on the farm tomorrow."

Considering that he could have a good meal at noon and didn't have to cook for himself, Leon agreed to this matter. By the way, he also wanted to see what Emily thought.

"Okay, I'll wait for you. My house is at 2 Willow Lane, next to Jody's house. You can see the exact location if you walk south along Pelican Town Square. We have a sun pendant hanging at the door."

When Emily heard Leon agree, she immediately told Leon her address.

Leon nodded to indicate that he had taken note of it. After paying the money, he said goodbye to Emily and rode his bike back to the farm.

He connected the water pipe and hung it under the eaves. He took off his clothes, put on shower gel, and washed himself thoroughly. Then, Leon changed into a new set of clothes and lay down on the bed.

As for the things in the backpack, Leon planned to clean them out tomorrow after Clint sent him the instructions for making the furnace.
