"Then I look forward to your cooking." Emily said cooperatively, and then the two began to work together.
"Cut the potatoes into cubes."
"Ah."
“Give me the onion.”
"it's here."
“Can I eat chili peppers?”
"If it's not too spicy, I can accept it."
"No garlic?"
"No."
"Pass me the breadcrumbs."
"it is good."
"Emily, I need you to help me beat three eggs. I only need the egg whites."
"Well, wait a minute."
In the simple language communication, it was basically Leon talking and Emily doing the cooking. Although it seemed a bit like the back kitchen of a restaurant, Emily felt quite relaxed.
Because of Leon's instructions, she only needed to prepare the ingredients Leon needed, which was much easier than trying to prepare all the ingredients at once.
And Emily is now really looking forward to the dishes that Lyon will present, because the cooking method used by Lyon is so cool.
It was the first time Emily knew that flames could be used as seasoning for food. When she saw Leon skillfully flipping the wok to introduce flames into the wok and stir-frying the ingredients, Emily thought Leon was performing magic.
Especially since Leon took over the cooking, the smells Emily smelled were no longer the same. Various complex aromas stimulated Emily's appetite every moment.
This made Emily unable to help but compare the differences between Gus and Leon's cooking styles.
The final conclusion is that Gus uses the characteristics and flavor of the ingredients themselves as the core of the food's taste, fully exploring the original taste of the ingredients, while Leon uses flames and ingredients to show off his perfect control of seasoning.
Each has its own characteristics, but Emily prefers Lyon's cooking method because it is really ornamental, and the unconcealed aroma and the color that makes people's appetite just by looking at it are really attractive.
"Oh, the fire is too low and the bottom of the pot is too flat, so I can't cook it perfectly." Lyon complained as he took out the stir-fried cauliflower from the pot.
"My kitchenware was recommended by Gus. Is there a problem?" Emily asked doubtfully.
"No problem, it just doesn't suit my cooking style and will make the finished product taste a little worse," Lyon explained.
“It’s already great.” Emily comforted Leon: “I really didn’t expect your cooking skills to be so good, Leon.”
"After all, if you live alone for a long time and don't learn to cook by yourself, you will starve to death." Lyon complained.
"But men who can cook are really attractive, Leon. I believe you will have someone to help you share these problems in the future." Emily comforted Leon with a smile.
"Let's not talk about this anymore. Please help me keep an eye on the beef stew. By the way, Emily, where is the bathroom?"
"It's the second small room on the left after leaving the kitchen." After determining the location of the bathroom, Leon hurriedly left the kitchen and went to the bathroom. He had drunk a whole bottle of juice while chatting about gossip with Haley.
As soon as he reached the bathroom door, Leon noticed that the door inside was locked and immediately realized that Haley might be inside.
So Leon had to stand at the door and wait, but after waiting for three or four minutes, Haley didn't come out. Realizing that his bladder was about to give out, Leon had no choice but to knock on the bathroom door and ask, "Is anyone there?"
"Leon? Do you need to use the restroom? Wait a moment."
Haley was indeed inside. After hearing Leon's voice, she immediately responded. Then Leon keenly heard some rustling noises and immediately took a small step back, away from the bathroom door.
Ten seconds later, Hailey opened the bathroom door and walked out. Her face flushed slightly as she spoke, "Sorry, I was so engrossed in reading a magazine that I forgot to pay attention to the time."
"It's okay, this is your own home after all." Leon shrugged and comforted her, then gave Haley a look. Haley immediately understood what Leon meant and made way for the entrance to the bathroom.
Seeing this, Leon hurried in, closed the door and turned on the toilet, completely unaware that Haley was just outside the door.
"Is it so loud?" Haley muttered with a red face as she heard the sound coming from behind the door.
Then she realized that she looked a little strange, so she turned around and left quickly. But just as she walked into the living room, Haley suddenly realized something.
That is, all the clothes she took off after taking a shower in the morning were still placed next to the washing machine in the bathroom and had not been put away. She originally planned to wash them together when Emily came home from get off work and took a shower in the evening.
"I hope Leon didn't notice." Haley felt a little nervous when she thought about her underwear still lying there, and placed at the top because of the order in which she took off her clothes.
"What did you notice?" Leon, who had just finished peeing, happened to pass by Haley and heard her whisper, so he immediately asked in a low voice.
"I haven't had time to put the underwear into the washing machine yet." Haley answered subconsciously, and then immediately realized that the person asking the question was Leon, not Emily, and her face suddenly turned red.
"Ahem, that's not the case." Leon was also shocked by Haley's frankness. He coughed dryly and quickly replied.
"Are you sure?" Although Haley was so embarrassed that she wanted to find a hole to crawl into, she still confirmed with Leon nervously.
"I'm sure." Leon answered seriously. He was only focused on peeing at the time. His bladder was about to explode, so he had no time to pay attention to anything else.
"Didn't you wash your hands?" Haley demanded.
"Wash your hands." Leon showed his hands which still had some water stains. He was going to help in the kitchen later, so how could he not pay attention to personal hygiene?
Haley lowered her head immediately after hearing this and didn't dare to look, because there was a washing machine next to the sink. Now she didn't believe Leon's words even more.
Leon looked at Haley pretending to be an ostrich, recalling the scene of washing his hands just now, and actually found a special sea-blue scenery in his memory.
Then Leon looked at Hailey's now Hassan's sky blue dress and couldn't help but complain: "You seem to like blue very much."
"Sure enough, you saw it all!" Haley immediately understood what Leon meant, then suddenly raised her head and punched Leon in the stomach.
Fortunately, Leon had practiced before, and his excellent combat awareness allowed him to easily avoid Haley's surprise attack. Haley's attack failed, and she actually chased him again and delivered a second punch.
Lyon was really shocked to see that the weak fist could actually make a sound of breaking through the air. If he was hit by it, it would hurt for a long time. Lyon quickly dodged and ran towards the kitchen.
At this moment, it seems that only Emily can help him stop Haley who has fallen into a violent state.
