A farming master in Stardew Valley

Chapter 221 I Haven’t Disdained You Yet

Chapter 221 I Haven’t Disdained You Yet

Under Abigail's command, Lyon really didn't see a single pedestrian on the road during his cycling trip and returned to the farm.

As soon as she arrived at the farm gate, Abigail jumped out of the car, then ran into Leon's house, found the faucet and washed her face.

After Leon entered the house, Abigail was sitting on a chair, shaking her legs and complaining: "When should you expand your house? It's too small."

"If you live alone, why do you need such a big chicken?" Leon took out a chicken from his backpack and began to defrost, wash and cut it into pieces, while chatting with Abigail.

"But can't you live better if you live alone? Seeing how you bought the meat so readily, you should have enough money." Abigail asked.

"It only costs a few dollars to buy meat, but the money to renovate and expand this house is not a small amount. As a brother, why don't you support me a little? Maybe next time you come here you can see a small villa." Leon teased Abigail.

"Forget it, I'm still unemployed and waiting for you to become a big boss and provide me with a high-paying and stable job." Abigail encouraged Leon bluntly: "So you have to work hard."

Leon glanced at Abigail speechlessly, and was sure that this girl was a nobody. However, she didn't really need to care about work. After all, her family was one of the largest seed suppliers and daily grocery stores in Pelican Town, and they were not short of money.

Moreover, Pierre and Caroline only have one daughter, Abigail, and there is no one to compete with her, so her future is bright.

So in order to establish a good relationship with this future rich woman, Leon asked: “I’m going to make some food, do you want me to prepare an extra portion for you?”

"Of course. Even though we've already had lunch, since you said so, as a good friend I have to support you," Abigail replied.

"I wish you wouldn't come to support me." Lyon complained and started to prepare lunch.

The rice was not cooked, so Lyon planned to stew a chicken with mushrooms and then use the chicken soup to mix with noodles. Although the chicken was not a stupid chicken, the mushrooms were not dried shiitake mushrooms, and the vermicelli became pasta, the taste should not be too bad, Lyon thought.

While Lyon was busy, Abigail was not idle either. She asked Lyon about the adventure stories that Lyon had not finished telling.

Leon did not deliberately keep Abigail in suspense and told her almost everything about this voyage, even the fact that he had asked the mermaid for help.

Because he was not going out to sea alone this time, and Willy and Gus were witnesses, Leon didn't believe that these two people could keep their mouths shut. Moreover, these things were not bad things that were embarrassing to others, so there was no need to cover them up.

"So, that giant python is actually the old Hans you are looking for this time?" After hearing that Leon dealt with the giant python and got the logbook, Abigail's expression was a little complicated.

"Well, it should be, but it's no longer considered a human." Leon nodded: "After all, it has eaten at least three people."

"So what did you think when you heard the news, Leon?" Abigail asked.

"I don't have any thoughts. Do you think I would be uneasy and filled with guilt just because I killed a monster who used to be a human?" Leon asked back.

"Yeah." Abigail nodded. "That's what I thought."

"No, not to mention that Old Hans has turned into a snake, even if he remains in human form, I will still kill him." Leon answered firmly.

"Why?" Abigail was a little frightened when she heard this, because from Leon's tone, this guy was serious, which means he really dared to kill people.

"Because he has killed others and also wants to kill me. If I don't kill him, will he cause me trouble?" Leon explained: "Or do you think he will reform and surrender himself to the judicial authorities? Act like a prodigal son?" "I don't know. These are too far away from my life. I grew up in Pelican Town. The most dangerous things I've heard of are the old librarian absconding with the money and Pam crashing the long-distance bus." Abigail lowered her head and answered softly.

"So you don't need to pay attention to these things. After all, there are tall people to hold up the sky if it falls. You are obviously not tall."

Seeing that Abigail was obviously frightened by him, Leon's tone became much gentler. While comforting Abigail, he also added.

"If you're afraid of me, maybe you could stay away from me. I wouldn't blame you."

"No, I believe you won't hurt me." Abigail quickly raised her head and explained to Leon.

"Why?" This time it was Leon who asked Abigail.

"Of course it's due to various reasons. For example, you still need to run the farm and buy seeds from my house. Also, I pose no threat to you. So, I have many, many cards to save my life." Abigail counted on her fingers the conditions that could ensure her own safety.

Hearing this, Leon couldn't help but patted Abigail's head and comforted her: "Are you really thinking about this? Then you are wrong. I am not a perverted killer, and I have never killed anyone. Your worry is completely unnecessary."

"I know, I'm just answering your question." Abigail replied, slapping Leon's hand away impatiently.

"Okay, let's stop talking about this meaningless topic. Go get the bowls and get ready to eat." Leon reminded Abigail with a smile, not intending to discuss this topic any further.

It can be seen from the fact that Abigail dared to slap away my hand that was touching her head just now that this girl is really not afraid of me. If she were afraid, she would never dare to do such a thing.

"Yeah." Abigail nodded and went into the house. Soon she came to Leon with a bowl and fork.

"Let's just eat around the pot and not separate the food." Lyon suggested, looking at the fork in his hand and then at the full pot of hen stewed with mushrooms and Italian sauce.

"Does this count as eating saliva?" Abigail suddenly said when she heard this.

"I don't dislike you yet. If you dislike me, just grab a bowl and eat slowly. I don't intend to follow the separate dining system anyway." Leon complained to Abigail speechlessly.

"Forget it, this is quite troublesome, let's just leave it at that." Abigail shook her head and no longer paid attention to these small problems.

“I think you said that because you think one bowl is not enough.” Leon teased with a smile.

“What do you care?” Abigail made a face at Leon: “If I really only eat one bowl, there will be so much left for you to finish by yourself?”

"I can save half for dinner." Leon answered confidently.

"Then I can't let you have your wish."

Happy Dragon Boat Festival, brothers and sisters. I wish you all a relaxing and happy perfect holiday experience. Go out and play if you should, and have a dinner if you should. Don’t be like me. I rarely have a holiday but stay at home like a typewriter. You can read today’s update when you come back in the evening. I will be lazy and take my time anyway, and I probably won’t be able to finish it before the evening.
