A farming master in Stardew Valley
Chapter 28 Chapter 28 Set off, aiming for the sea.
Chapter 28 The th Palm sets out, targeting the sea.
"What a great thing." Leon's eyes lit up when he saw the motorcycle. After all, there is no man who doesn't like cars.
"Can you ride it?" Willy asked Leon with a smile while looking at his motorcycle.
"Of course." Leon nodded, then confirmed: "But are you really willing to lend it to me to get the things?"
"Why would I be reluctant to part with it? I don't use it often myself, and I still need to run its engine occasionally to prevent it from rusting. If you can do it for me once, it will save me a lot of effort." Willy replied.
Then Leon saw Willy take out the key from his pocket and threw it towards him. Leon reached out to take it and heard Willy's voice.
"Go and come back soon. I can't wait to see if those little bugs have an impact on marine fish. If they do, it will be a big discovery for the local fishery."
"Okay, I'll be back soon." Leon didn't waste any time. He got on the motorcycle, inserted the key, started the engine, stepped on the clutch, and stepped on the throttle in one go. The next moment after the motorcycle started successfully, Leon directly steered the motorcycle to a beautiful drift and turned the front of the car around. Amid the roar of the exhaust pipe, he disappeared from Willy's sight.
"What a vibrant young man! It's great to be young."
Looking at Leon's handsome back and skillful motorcycle riding skills, Willy muttered with envy.
On the other side, Leon had already crossed the path and crossed the stone bridge into Pelican Town.
Because the green onions were all in his backpack, Leon didn't go back to the farm. Instead, he rode his bike straight to the Stardrop Salon. It had been a long time since he left home in the morning, and it was already lunchtime, so Leon had to go eat first.
After parking the car in front of the Star Bar, Leon found that there were no customers inside the Star Bar. Perhaps it was because it was noon, or perhaps it was because most people were still working, so the bar was empty. Only Gus was standing at the bar and dozing off.
"Hi! Gus, do you have any delicious recommendations today?" Leon greeted Gus after walking into the bar.
Gus perked up immediately after hearing the call. When he saw that the visitor was Leon, he immediately laughed happily: "Oh, it's our new farmer Leon! Sit down quickly."
After asking Leon to sit down, Gus continued, "You can try my pasta. It's quite filling and can provide a lot of calories. It's perfect for filling your stomach."
"Then it's a plate of pasta." Leon agreed. After all, instead of worrying about what to eat for lunch by himself, it would be better to rely on the boss's recommendation. He believed in Gus's cooking skills. He had eaten here twice and the delicious food had never disappointed him.
"Okay, wait a minute. By the way, would you like something to drink?" Gus nodded and asked.
"No thanks." Leon replied after glancing at the counter and not seeing Emily.
Gus noticed Leon's eyes and said teasingly with a smile: "Emily will not be back to help in the bar until this afternoon. If you want to see her, you have to come in the evening."
"Yeah." Leon did not hide it. After all, it was not something shameful. When eating, with a blue-haired beauty watching, the food would taste better. Men are all like this. There is nothing to be shy about.
"Take a break. I'll serve you lunch shortly," Gus said as he entered the kitchen. No one was left in the front room of the bar, and Leon noticed the wine cabinet wasn't locked. This made him sigh at the simple folks of Pelican Town. If it were a larger place, with no one guarding the front room and no security measures, wouldn't it have been robbed by the Zero Dollar Buyers?
After Guts brought a large plate of pasta, Leon had a delicious meal, paid the twenty dollars for lunch, and then asked Guts.
"Do you have any plastic bags here? I need a bigger one to put some things in."
"We have plastic bags, but what do you want to put them in?" Gus asked Leon while clearing the dishes.
"Some shallots," Leon replied.
"That requires a box." Gus said, stopped what he was doing, went back to the kitchen, and when he appeared again, he brought a foam box.
"Take it. The green onions cannot be pressed together, which will affect their appearance and quality. Putting them in this wide foam box can protect their integrity to the greatest extent." Gus explained to Leon.
"Thanks. How much is the box?" Lyon took the box and was about to pay, but Gus waved his hand and refused without hesitation.
"It's just a foam box, not worth much money. I'm giving it to you. Just remember to come to the bar often to drink and chat."
"Yeah." Leon nodded, then expressed his gratitude to Gus again and left with the box.
This time, Lyon returned directly to the beach, but before approaching the beach, in a secret place, Lyon took out all the ordinary quality shallots in his backpack and put them in this large foam box. After packing the shallots, Lyon set off again.
In fact, this lunch did not waste much time. Including the time of riding back and forth, only half an hour had passed. When Lyon returned to the garage on the beach where Willy parked his motorcycle, Lyon found Willy smoking a pipe under the shade of a tree next to the garage.
"Are you back so soon?" Willy looked up when he heard the roar of the motorcycle and saw Leon appear in front of him.
"Here." Leon showed the foam box behind him. Willy raised his eyebrows: "Hey, I didn't realize you have such a good relationship with Gus."
"You can see that too." Lyon looked at Willy with surprise and complained.
"Of course, only Gus' bar orders this kind of foam box. He also uses this kind when he gets fresh fish from me. I always thought it was used specifically to keep fish fresh, but I didn't expect it could also be used to preserve plants."
Willy nodded and explained, then he couldn't wait to urge Leon: "Let's go out to sea after we park the car. I have prepared the fishing boat and fishing nets. If it doesn't work, I will accompany you to dismantle the fishing nets and go to the rivers in the southern forests to catch smallmouth bass."
Lyon didn't waste any time. He parked the motorcycle and waited for Willy to close the rolling door. Then, Lyon carried the box of green onions and returned to the dock with Willy. At the end of the dock, Lyon saw Willy's fishing boat.
It is not a large fishing boat, but a small offshore fishing boat, about four meters long and two meters wide. It is powered by a propeller engine. There is a lot of space inside the boat. In addition to a simple shade shed at the stern where the engine is located, the largest facility on the boat is a large water tank.
"Let's go, our destination is near the sea."
