A farming master in Stardew Valley

Chapter 387 Escape from Oasis Store

Chapter 387 Escape from Oasis Store
"There's something wrong with you." Leon listened to Sandy's explanation, stared at Sandy with a suspicious look and reminded him.

"I just think that some words are not suitable for her to hear." Sandy did not hide it. After guiding Leon to the front desk, he took out a glass bead from under the counter. It was not big, about the size of a glass marble, but it was unusually round.

"Someone asked me to give it to you. Take it first."

After hearing this, Lyon took the glass ball and found that the system did not give any prompts, so he had no idea about the situation of the glass ball.

Just when Leon wanted to ask Sandy for some information, Sandy took the initiative to speak.

"This is just a glass ball. It doesn't have any practical significance, but it's a kind of certificate. As for what this certificate is, I can't tell you for now. If I can tell you, you must keep it safe."

"Did your boss give it to you?" Leon asked.

"No." Sandy shook his head.

"Who is that?" Lyon continued to ask.

"I won't tell you. You'll meet sooner or later anyway." Sandy glanced at Zhongang and said perfunctorily.

"It's so mysterious. I don't want it then." Leon shrugged and put the glass beads back on the front desk. He thought it would be better not to take such a mysterious thing.

"That's fine, but don't regret it when you need it in the future." Sandy reminded Leon with a speechless look on his face.

"You should at least tell me the truth. After all, I was just tricked by someone and I'm still a little scared now." Leon complained.

"Are you talking about the attack you encountered at the Yuba Forge?" Sandy asked.

"Well, did you see it?" Leon nodded.

"I didn't see it, but I heard it," Sandy replied. "But I can tell you for sure that this glass ball will only do you good. If you trust me, take it back and keep it close to you."

"If you say so, then I believe it." Hearing this, Leon picked up the glass bead again and put it into the system backpack.

"Aren't you afraid that I'm lying to you?" Sandy was a little surprised to see Leon accept the glass beads again.

"I believe you. After all, you said we are friends, right?" Leon explained.

Sandy was completely stunned this time. He stared at Leon for a long time before sighing with a complicated expression: "Okay, I understand why you are so popular. You are really an interesting guy."

"Why do you say that?" Lyon asked with a smile.

"Nothing, just something that came to mind." Sandy didn't explain much, but couldn't help but glance at Leon again, then suddenly said: "Remember to raise rabbits on your farm as soon as possible."

"Ok?"

Lyon looked at Sandy in confusion when he heard this, but Sandy had no intention of explaining to Lyon. After saying this, he left the front desk and went into a room in the store.

Now Lyon was the only one left in the store. He didn't know what to do, so he sat next to the front desk to help Sandy look after the store.

They sat there for about ten minutes, and then Leon saw Sandy and Abigail coming out of the room together.

Abigail had changed out of the outfit she was wearing today into a blue dress similar to Sandy's, and her wet hair proved that she had indeed taken a shower.

"Okay, I've returned your girlfriend to you, and even gave her a new set of clothes. As her boyfriend, shouldn't you show some appreciation?" Sandy, who walked up to Leon with Abigail, said.

"Tell me the number," Leon replied generously. "I don't want any money. Remember to bring some daffodils next time you come. I really like the plants in Stardew Valley."

"no problem."

If Sandy asked for an exorbitant price, Lyon might have a few words with her, but if she just wanted Daffodils, it would have no effect on Lyon at all.

Then Sandy warmly entertained Leon and Abigail and they enjoyed a sumptuous lunch sent down from the second floor. This time it was no longer desert food, but full of Stardew Valley style, with all kinds of seasonal vegetables and fresh sea fish that could not be seen in the desert, which made Sandy call it unfair.

"You don't usually eat these?"

As Sandy cried out about injustice, Leon couldn't help but ask.

"There are only some healthy vegetables occasionally, and most of the food is desert-style. The lunch sent today was obviously prepared for you and Abigail." Sandy said this with a resentful look on her face.

"It's not that exaggerated." Lyon said.

"Haha." Sandy just sneered, and then enjoyed these delicacies that she rarely saw. She didn't want to waste time talking to Leon, and only had eyes for the food.

After eating and drinking to their heart's content, Sandy said to Leon with a satisfied look on his face: "Come often in the future, Leon. If you are here, maybe I can change my taste more often."

"I think the food might not be as sumptuous next time I come." Leon complained, shaking his head.

"What did you think of?" Sandy asked Leon curiously.

"I didn't expect anything. I just thought today should be a special case." Lyon shook his head without further explanation.

"It seems that you know my boss better than I thought." Sandy glanced at Lyon. Although Lyon didn't say anything, Sandy had already guessed what Lyon was thinking.

Hearing Sandy's words, Leon sighed and explained: "I don't know your boss, but I just think that maybe he is very happy today, so he prepared such good food to entertain us."

"Isn't that understanding? At least you know what he likes to see." Sandy complained.

"Forget it, let's not talk about this anymore." Looking at Abigail who was confused by the riddle-like conversation between the two, Leon skipped the topic.

Sandy didn't continue talking about this topic, but continued to ask Leon about Stardew Valley. Sandy would do this every time after dinner, and Leon was used to it.

However, this time, in addition to learning about the latest happenings in Stardew Valley through Leon, Sandy did not forget Abigail. From time to time, she would tease Abigail about her and Leon's current relationship, making Abigail dare not look up and shyly lean against Leon.

Although Leon could occasionally help Abigail fight back, Sandy, an old witch who had lived for an unknown period of time but looked surprisingly young, was a veteran of many battles, and even Leon, who was thick-skinned, could not withstand her.

Just as Sandy was talking about how many children they planned to have in the future, Leon checked the time on his watch and interrupted the tea conversation.

"It's getting late. We should go back, otherwise we'll have to wait for the last bus again."

"Okay, okay, then I won't keep you any longer. What a pity. It's so rare for me to meet someone who can chat with me, and now I have to go back to guarding the store alone." Sandy said self-deprecatingly with an unsatisfied look.

But Leon didn't take the bait at all. He took Abigail and left Oasis Sandy directly with his decisive attitude as if he was fleeing.

I have really used up all my saved drafts this time. I have to go on a business trip tomorrow, so I have to prepare my drafts in advance. Alas, it is a rare day off, but I still have to write. I am born to be a saint.
