Chapter 57 Lady Luck
Leon smiled and didn't explain further.

After receiving the sunflower, Lyon said goodbye to the traveling merchant. Before leaving, the traveling merchant handed Lyon the parchment of the price catalog.

"I pass by Stardew Valley twice a month, and I hope to do business with you again, so I'm giving you this catalog. You can put it in your room. When I come to Stardew Valley again, the catalog will inform you of my visit and will also display the information about the goods I'm carrying in advance."

"I will." Lyon took the parchment and put it in his backpack. As the traveling merchant waved goodbye, he took out his bicycle and rode back to the farm.

After parking his bicycle and returning to the cabin, Leon pressed the traveling merchant's catalog under the bed sheet, leaving only a corner exposed. He then cleaned up his things, leaving the tools and the sunflowers he had just bought in his backpack, plus the Universal Crystal Ball given by Little Black Krobus yesterday, and rode his bicycle towards Pelican Town.

It took only about ten minutes of leisurely riding for Lyon to arrive at Pelican Town. Relying on the memory of the last time Lewis took him to visit the main business shops in Pelican Town, Lyon rode his bike towards the blacksmith Clinton's blacksmith shop.

It was common sense in the game to open the crystal ball and find a blacksmith. Originally, Leon wanted to break the common sense and took out the All-Seeing Crystal Ball when he was free yesterday and prepared to crack it open by himself.

However, after experiencing the collision of stones, the knocking of pickaxes, the hitting of wood and other violent means, the final result was that Leon was sweating profusely, and the means used posed basically no threat to the Vientiane Crystal Ball.

Not to mention smashing it, he couldn't even damage the crystal ball.

So Lyon admitted defeat and decided to leave professional matters to be handled by professionals.

In order to avoid any fuss, Leon took out the Crystal Ball in advance and hung it on the handlebars of the bicycle to prevent Clint from being scared by the telekinetic act.

"Hi, Leon, good morning."

Just as Leon had just ridden across the stone bridge built across the river in the town, he saw Penny walking. Before Leon could say hello, Penny noticed Leon first and waved at him.

"Good morning, Penny, are you going to the library?" Leon greeted Penny.

"Well, I'm teaching the kids in the library," Penny explained with a nod, then noticed Leon's bicycle and the Geode hanging on it.

"Are you planning on going to Clint to open the crystal ball?"

"Ah."

Leon nodded, not surprised that Penny could recognize the Crystal Sphere of All Things.

After all, Pelican Town was originally a mining town established by the Fingill Republic to collect the rich mineral resources of Stardew Valley. It was only in modern times that Pelican Town became a tourist city due to accidents in the old mines and various reasons. However, this does not mean that the mining industry has disappeared from Pelican Town.

"Then I wish you good luck." Penny wished Leon well, then hesitated for a moment and added, "By the way, your new bike is cool."

Leon smiled at Penny when he heard that. He could see that Penny seemed a little nervous, and also felt awkward as she wanted to chat more with him but didn't know what to say.

It just so happened that he had nothing to do at the moment, so Leon naturally didn’t want to miss the opportunity to tease the girl: “It’s a little way from here to the library, do you want me to give you a ride?”

"No, I don't want to cause you any trouble." Penny's eyes lit up when she heard that, but she shyly rejected Leon's proposal.

"It's okay, I'm not in a hurry anyway." Leon said, and parked his bike in front of Penny. "Get on, there's no seat, but you can sit on the horizontal bar on the frame."

Faced with Lyon's invitation again, Penny did not refuse this time. She just looked at Lyon with a rosy face, then looked at the horizontal bar on the bicycle, and was a little at a loss for a moment.

Seeing Penny's expression, Leon knew that the girl was shy, so he loosened his left hand holding the handlebar, stretched out his hand to Penny and teased: "Do you need my help?"

"I'll do it myself." Penny answered in a very weak voice, and then slowly moved closer to Leon step by step. Finally, she plucked up the courage, stood on tiptoe, and sat diagonally on the horizontal bar of the frame.

As soon as she sat down, Penny smelled a special smell coming from Leon's body. It was not the smell of sweat, but a special smell that was indescribable but could make people's heart beat faster.

If Penny asked Leon what this smell was, Leon would definitely tell her that it was the smell of heartbeat. Unfortunately, Penny didn't dare to speak. At this moment, she lowered her head like a quail, curling up her body as much as possible to avoid large-scale physical contact with Leon.

But the bicycle is so small, not to mention that both Leon and Penny are adults. When Leon put his left hand back on the handlebars, Penny was wrapped in the center by Leon's arms, and it was a tight fit.

"Hold on tight. For your safety, please hold onto my waist."

Looking at Penny, who was blushing, sitting on the horizontal bar, Leon unconsciously curled up a sly smile at the corner of his mouth. After reminding Penny, he stepped on the pedals and rushed forward on the bicycle.

The strong inertia made Penny lean towards Leon's body suddenly. Under the instinct of her brain to protect her body, Penny subconsciously held Leon, who was now the only support point. As her palms felt the warmth and strong muscles on Leon's back, Penny felt a little dizzy.

Then, she didn't know how much time had passed until Leon's legs left the pedals, supported himself on the ground, and stopped the car. Penny was still dizzy.

"We're here. How long do you want to hold me?"

Seeing Penny's lifeless eyes, Leon reached out and tapped Penny's forehead lightly as a reminder.

"Ah." The snap of the fingers made Penny wake up instantly. She quickly let go of her hand, then jumped out of the car swiftly. After keeping a safe distance of two steps from Leon, she stammered and spoke.

"Thank you, I have to go now."

After saying that, Penny planned to escape into the library nearby, but just as she raised her foot and before she took the first step, she was stopped by Leon's voice.

"Penny, don't leave so quickly. Can you do me a favor?"

"Go ahead." Penny lowered her head, but still stood there obediently and answered Leon.

"Can you touch my all-encompassing crystal ball?" Leon offered his idea, adding, "I think you might be my goddess of luck, so I need your blessing."

"Goddess of Luck? You're exaggerating, Leon. I'm just an ordinary country girl." Penny was confused by Leon's address and felt a little at a loss.

But in the end, under Leon's expectant gaze, she touched the universal crystal ball hanging on the bicycle, and then rushed into the library with hurried steps without waiting for words.
