Chapter 49 Drow Tavern

Chapter 49 Drow Tavern
Sanity: 156/220.

After more than two hours of travel and under the guidance of a "kind-hearted person", Gao Yang finally arrived at this gathering area called "The First Town in the Wasteland".

He looked up at the town gate. On it was a wooden round badge the size of a human head. A crescent moon was depicted on the badge, and behind the crescent moon was a blood-red spider web.

"Elves and drow? What a wonderful combination. It's truly worthy of being the Demon Wasteland. These two incompatible races and beliefs actually appear on the same emblem."

Gao Yang withdrew his gaze and turned to look at the orc guards on both sides of the gate.

The two orcs had already noticed Gao Yang, but due to Gao Yang's temperament, they did not come up to negotiate immediately.

Seeing Gao Yang looking at them, one of the orcs immediately pointed to the town behind him, trying to put on a serious expression on his ugly face:

"Outsiders, enter the town, ten wasteland coins."

Wasteland Coin is the currency circulating in the Demon Wasteland. It is made of metal unique to the Demon Wasteland and contains a trace of weak "power", which is why it has become a circulating currency recognized by all races.

Gao Yang obtained some wasteland coins from a "kind-hearted person". He could sense a faint power, but he didn't know what this power was.

He stretched out his hand wrapped in black armor, and the orc opposite him saw this and quickly stretched out his big hand.

Ding-ding-ding-ding.

The crisp sound of coins colliding was heard, and all ten wasteland coins fell into the orc's rough big hands.

Seeing the Wasteland Coin, a smile appeared on the orc's ugly face. He put the Wasteland Coin away, then enthusiastically made way and said to Gao Yang:

"Outsider, if you want to enjoy a delicious meal and take a hot bath, the Drow Tavern in town is a good choice."

"Thank you."

Gao Yang popped out a wasteland coin and walked into the town.

"Network Tip: You have entered the safe zone. Within the safe zone, your sanity will slowly recover."

After stepping into the town, Gao Yang immediately noticed something different, and a feeling of security arose from the bottom of his heart for no reason.

Following the guidance of the orc guard, Gao Yang quickly found the drow tavern he mentioned.

Standing outside the tavern, he could hear all kinds of lively sounds coming from inside.

Without hesitation, he pushed open the scarred wooden door that was ajar and stepped inside.

The moment the wooden door was pushed open, the tavern suddenly became quiet, and everyone looked at Gao Yang who pushed the door open. However, after seeing the huge black Yao behind Gao Yang, the drinkers in the tavern became noisy again.

Gao Yang's eyes quickly searched the pub and soon locked onto the coolly dressed Zhuoer proprietress who was wiping glasses boredly behind the bar.

She was wearing a silk dress, and a dark red ribbon outlined her slender waist, which was in contrast with her round and attractive buttocks, making people feel excited.

She has pointed ears just like an elf, but compared to the generally poor figure and plain face of the elves, she has a full chest, fiery red lips and light eye shadow, which, combined with her skin color, vividly interprets what is charming and attractive.

A ripe peach.

"A glass of juice."

Gao Yang sat at the "L"-shaped bar, tapping his fingers on the wooden tabletop, and looked at the proprietress opposite him.

"Wandering warrior?" The proprietress of Zhuoer pushed a glass of inky juice in front of Gao Yang, and her delicate fingers inadvertently stroked his knuckles.

A faint fragrance penetrated into Gao Yang's nostrils. Gao Yang's expression remained unchanged and he drank the juice in one gulp.

"One room, one woman."

"I thought he was a wimp, but I didn't expect him to be someone who knows the rules."

A barbarian not far from Gao Yang burst into laughter. He slammed the table hard, causing the objects on the table to jump.

"Madam, please find someone with better endurance. It seems this wandering warrior has been holding it in for too long."

"I bet he'll be five minutes at most."

"I bet five minutes and one second!" With the barbarian's start, the other drinkers followed suit.

The wife of the Zhuoer boss smiled as she glanced at the noisy customers, and immediately most of them quieted down.

The Zhuoer boss lady once again set her sights on Gao Yang and said, "One room, thirty Wasteland Coins. As for women, the prices vary."

Gao Yang threw out a cloth bag, and the crisp sound of collision attracted the attention of some drinkers.

"That's all for now. I'm going to stay here for a while."

The boss lady of Zhuoer picked up the purse, weighed it, and accepted it.

"Kid!"

As she finished her words, a thin and shriveled girl quickly walked through the crowd of drinkers and came in front of the Zhuoer proprietress.

"Take him to a clean room to live in, and find him a woman."

"She has to be good-looking and smart," Gao Yang added.

The little ghost nodded quickly and looked at Gao Yang: "Please follow me."

After a while, we settled down on the third floor of Gao Yang's tavern.

Not long after, there was a knock on his door, and then the little ghost's voice sounded: "Guest, someone has arrived."

"Come in."

The door was pushed open, and a pair of round, straight, long legs wrapped in black stockings stepped into the room first, followed by a plump and straight upper body, a pair of furry triangular ears, and finally a fluffy fiery red fox tail.

There was a hint of surprise in Gao Yang's eyes under his helmet. He turned out to be a half-orc, apparently a fox man.

He had never seen this before.

"sit."

Upon hearing this, the fox girl walked over to the bed with her long legs and sat down.

Gao Yang paused, then took out thirty wasteland coins and placed them in the fox girl's hand.

"Tell me everything you know about this demonic wasteland, and it will all be yours."

The fox girl subconsciously clenched the wasteland coins in her hand, and then was stunned for a moment after hearing Gao Yang's request, but she quickly reacted.

She smiled sweetly and said confidently, "No problem."

Half an hour later, the fox girl opened the door and left briskly.

After making sure she had left, Gao Yang came to the table, took out paper and pen and began to write.

After a while, all the information learned from the fox girl appeared on the paper.

Gao Yang stopped writing and looked at the map of the approximate distribution of power in front of him, frowning slightly.

"It seems that this experience is much more difficult than I imagined."

He flicked the paper in his hand, and saw many nouns written at the top of the paper.

Huangquan Dragon Society, Immortal Church, Fallen God Cult, Devouring Mouth, Light Paladin, Visitors from Another World.
Among them, the Underworld Dragon Society is a group of utter lunatics who are dedicated to demons and worship the horrors of the Underdark.

The Immortal Church was jointly founded by the elves and drow in the Demon Wasteland.

The Devouring Mouths are the largest looting force roaming the Demon Wasteland. They burn, kill, plunder and commit all kinds of evil, doing everything they can to please the beings they believe in.
