Chapter 32 Reinforcements Arrive Tomorrow

The night sky was clear, cold, and starry. Under the moon, mist from the base floated out and surrounded the camp.

Luo Ye recalled the night when he escaped from the fog.

At nine o'clock in the morning, the special police were divided into two groups. The first group entered the base, and the second group entered the forest where the trace experts discovered the monster.

Luo Ye and Irina followed the second group into the forest. This was Andre's request. He wanted Luo Ye to determine whether the footprints left by the monster were similar to the feet of the mutants found in the castle.

Luo Ye did it reluctantly. He really didn't pay attention to what the feet of the mutant created by Product No. 1 looked like.

After entering the forest, there is a small flat area covered with rushes. Beyond the flat area are some tall oaks, and some pine and ash trees.

The trace expert discovered the tall and scary monster next to the oak bush last night.

As the second group arrived, the sky suddenly turned from sunny to cloudy and it started to rain heavily. The group was caught off guard and didn't even bring rain gear, so everyone was soaked like a drowned rat.

The heavy rain washed away many traces in the forest, and the trace expert was so angry that he stared blankly.

After returning to the camp, the rain stopped and the sky cleared up, and a rainbow appeared in the sky.

Yekalin was still carving her nesting dolls in front of the tent, as if the rain had nothing to do with her. The doctor sat beside her, helping her carve. His face was dull and pale, and the slap mark left by Andrei on his face last night was still faintly visible.

Andre stood in front of his tent, checking the sky. Dr. Stein stood behind him, his brows twisted into a frown.

After everyone returned to the camp, the two of them went into the tent.

Director Knuckles took him aside and whispered something.
