World War I

Chapter 40: Crucify Him

Chapter 40: Crucify Him

Fyodor smiled and said, "Sonia, I think Mark is fine. You must be mistaken. How can a dead person be resurrected, and resurrected from such a low-temperature freezer?"

Sonya was furious.

"If I lie, I'll be made into a pheasant!"

Several male police officers grinned immediately. This kind of oath cannot be made casually.

After dark, Chris brought food to the door of Mark's office: "Deputy Sheriff, your dinner is at the door."

Chrissy dropped the food and ran.

"Why are you running? I'm not a demon!"

A male police officer was leaning against the gate of the police station, chewing gum and looking at him with his head tilted.

"What are you looking at!"

Mark picked up the food, walked into the office, and slammed the door shut.

"Stanislav, what are you looking at?"

"I'm observing whether he is human."

Fyodor laughed and said, "Is he still a human being?"

Another male police officer came over and said, "This is not a human being. If he hadn't made any mistakes, he would at least be a deputy director now. He's almost 40 years old."

"Yes, was he the one who did the dismemberment?"

"Are you talking about the case from eight years ago?"

"Yes, he is a strong suspect in the case of the dismemberment of two women, a doctor, and a nurse."

“But there’s no evidence.”

"So he came to this town police station on the loose."

The Kursk Town Police Station has police dormitories, but Mark never lives in the police station. He rents a house outside and has two lovers.

One of Mark's lovers comes to the police station.

"Mark's still alive, isn't he?"

Fyodor: "How did you know?"

"Someone saw him come in, walk into the police station. I want to see him."

"No one can see him now, including you, Whitman."

"No, let me see him, just once, I want to see if he is alive or not."

The door of Deputy Sheriff Mark's office opened, and Sheriff Mark rushed towards Huimant, and the two hugged each other tightly.

"Oh, God, everyone said you were dead, everyone said you were dead, but it turns out you are still alive."

After the deputy sheriff's girlfriend left, Fyodor made a phone call.

"Mark met his lover, hugged him and then his lover left."

"Just a hug?"

"Anyway, I didn't see these two having sex."

"Don't let anything happen to the person designated by the investigation committee, otherwise you will go to jail."

"receive."

The light in Sonya's room was also on, and Fyodor spent much more time staring at her room than he did at Deputy Sheriff Mark's room.

Stanislav slowly cleaned his gun, glancing at Fyodor who was staring at Sonya's window.

"This hateful yet cute cold beauty never has a boyfriend. She only makes friends with pistols. You'd better give up on this idea."

Fyodor rubbed his itchy nose, rubbed it again and again.

"Brother, you can't do anything stupid."

This was a sign of the risk Fyodor was taking before he did something bad.

"This woman would rather stay here and wait for death than work at the county police station. Thank God, I finally have a chance to get close to her."

Fyodor bought a bouquet of flowers during the day and hesitated several times to buy them. Sonya's swiftness was no joke.

"You keep watching. I'm going to talk to Sonya. I have to talk to her. I have to get straight to the point. If I don't send it away soon, the flower will wither."

"Flowers tonight?"

"Yes, at night."

"What about Deputy Sheriff Mark?"

"What can happen to him? One-Eye and Pan are guarding outside. Even if he climbs over the wall, they will be able to see him. Don't worry."

"Chief Anthony ordered this. Don't make any mistakes. If you mess up, you'll be in trouble."

"I'm the boss, can't you give me some face?"

A police car outside the police station was parked quietly on the side of the road. One-Eye was holding a cigarette with his legs resting on the center console.

He is not blind. Due to an illness in his childhood, one of his eyes is big and the other is small, so people nicknamed him the One-Eyed Man.

His big eye has excellent eyesight, like an eagle's eye.

He could see clearly from a long distance, and that was why he became a sniper.

"Mikhail, can you put your stinky feet down?"

Panzi was eating popcorn. There were a lot of retail items in the police car, which were Officer Panzi's private goods.

Whenever he has free time, Officer Panzi’s favorite thing to do is eat snacks.

"Why are we the only ones standing guard outside the police station? Why, why do we always have to give in to Fyodor? We have the same rank, both second lieutenants. Why is it that he can pick up girls in the police station, while we don't even qualify to be a light bulb?"

"Mikhail, if Director Anthony was your uncle, you wouldn't be so arrogant. You're nothing. You're the illegitimate son of a poor farmer."

A black private car slowly passed by the police car, and a hand stretched out from the window, raising the middle finger at the police car.

"Holy shit! What's going on? Did you get out of a mental hospital?"

"Pet him!"

The one-eyed man roared from Stanislav's intercom: "Keep an eye on it! We'll be back soon!"
"Hey, hey, hey, hey—what's going on? What's going on?"

The intercom is turned off.

The Kursk Town Police Department had only one task for the next 72 hours: to keep a close eye on Deputy Chief Mark and not let him disappear from the eyes of six people. At least one pair of eyes had to be working every minute.

The alarm center temporarily handed over all of the Kursk Town Police Department's daily police dispatch tasks to the county police department.

When Stanislav arrived at the police station, the police car was no longer in its original location. He heard the roar of the engine piercing the night air as the vehicle sped away.

Fyodor went to pick up girls, and Stanislav quickly returned to his post.

The two colleagues outside the door suddenly left, and now he was the only one left to monitor Deputy Sheriff Mark.

The police station has no solid walls, only a high wooden fence.

The window of Deputy Sheriff Mark's office just faced the fence wall. If Mark wanted to run and climb out through the window, he could easily jump down from the top of the wooden fence.

The height of the wooden fence is about the height of an average adult.

The direction that One-Eye and Plate were monitoring was the window of Deputy Sheriff Mark.

Stanislav came to the office door and knocked.

Deputy Sheriff Mark opened the door: "Stanislav, what's going on?"

"Deputy Sheriff Mark, I'd like to ask if you need any hot tea."

"No need, get away from me."

Stanislav's nose almost hit the door panel, "I'll kill you!" he said softly, and moved his shoulders and hands and feet.

He returned to his post again, under the huge ancient elm tree with twisted roots in the yard.

After standing for a while, he felt a little uneasy. One-Eye and Pan had not come back yet.

Just when he was about to call their cell phones, he felt there seemed to be movement behind the wooden fence.

He turned back quickly!
He didn't see any suspicious people or animals through the gaps in the wooden fence.
