Chapter 67: Standing on One Leg
Chapter 67: Standing on One Leg
"Xiaobei, why are your ears so red?"
An Xiaoqian tilted her head slightly, blinking her big watery eyes, full of inquiry and teasing.
Hu Xiaobei suddenly felt extremely embarrassed and wished he could find a hole to crawl into.
His lips trembled slightly as he opened them, but it seemed as if something was choking his throat, and he couldn't utter a word for a long time.
An Xiaoqian continued to ask seriously, "Do you blush when you see girls? Or... do you blush when you get close to girls?"
"I'm not, I didn't, just say it." Hu Xiaobei couldn't bear it any longer and quickly gave three consecutive denials.
An Xiaoqian's lips curled up slightly, and she nodded more firmly: "Oh~ I understand."
"No, if you understand something, just say you understand." Hu Xiaobei's eyes widened and he quickly turned around to refute.
But at some point, An Xiaoqian's little face had already been raised, and she was looking at him silently with a curious look.
Those big, KISS ME eyes were blinking, as if they could speak, lively and playful.
Hu Xiaobei's heartbeat suddenly accelerated, and his face became visibly redder.
An Xiaoqian seemed to have suddenly understood everything, and showed an expression that said, "As expected."
She smiled smugly and said firmly, "You're still saying no? Look, you're blushing again!"
The evidence was irrefutable and the facts were written right on his face. Hu Xiaobei really didn't know how to refute it.
He could only stammer and explain, "This is altitude sickness caused by exercise, it's..."
Before she could finish her words, An Xiaoqian immediately asked, "Then why haven't I had any reaction after exercising for so long?"
Hu Xiaobei was slightly stunned and his eyes dodged unconsciously.
Then, he straightened his back, his expression focused, and he spoke righteously, "We have different physiques. Yes, that's right. I have a constitution that is prone to plateau reactions."
"Hmph... I don't believe it. You're just shy." An Xiaoqian looked unconvinced, feeling that she had already grasped the truth.
"Oh... This is really altitude sickness, these are the symptoms..." Hu Xiaobei could only explain weakly.
An Xiaoqian raised her chin and said with a confident look: "Okay, then prove to me that you dare to keep looking at me."
Hu Xiaobei's momentum faltered, his eyes dodged again, and his tone dropped again: "No, why would I keep looking at you if I have nothing to do."
"Hehe... Are you scared? I knew there was only one truth..." An Xiaoqian raised her chin, her little face full of pride, her eyes flashing with confidence, as if Conan was possessed, she was just about to reach out to adjust her non-existent glasses.
How dare you, little boy from Qian Village, bully me when I am powerless?
Hu Xiaobei couldn't help but feel furious. Before she could finish speaking, he turned around abruptly, staring at An Xiaoqian with his eyes wide open, without saying a word.
An Xiaoqian's momentum immediately weakened, and she was about to shrink her head like a little quail.
But when I thought about it again, I felt something was wrong.
She shouldn't be the one to be afraid, so she pouted and looked at Hu Xiaobei fiercely and cutely.
Hu Xiaobei secretly groaned in his heart. He wanted to look away, but he was afraid that An Xiaoqian would see through his timidity, so he had to bite the bullet and continue.
Since it was not convenient to continue looking into her eyes, Hu Xiaobei had to resort to an underhanded move and slowly push her left leg, which was raised to the side and upward, back.
An Xiaoqian suddenly felt a huge amount of pressure and could no longer act cute and fierce. Then her body began to tremble and her standing posture became unstable.
As she trembled slightly, her breathing became unstable for a moment, and the short, rapid breath she exhaled went directly into Hu Xiaobei's right ear.
Hu Xiaobei only felt a burst of warmth and numbness in his right ear, which suddenly exploded, and tickled his nerves like a soft feather.
His body suddenly stiffened, his heartbeat suddenly accelerated, and an even more uncontrollable blush welled up on his face, spreading rapidly from his ears to his entire cheeks.
There was a flash of panic and shyness in her eyes, her mind went blank for a moment, and the words she was about to say were stuck in her throat.
I could only stand there blankly, at a loss as to what to do.
The strange feeling in his ears continued to echo, making him feel as if he was trapped in a subtle and embarrassing vortex, and he was unable to recover for a long time.
Seeing his attack slow down, An Xiaoqian felt a surge of resentment, and her tender little lips unconsciously pursed. Like a wronged child, she said weakly, "See, I was right. You're actually using public power to take revenge..."
Having said this, she snorted angrily, but she didn't expect to hit Hu Xiaobei's soft spot again.
He shuddered with excitement and felt numb all over.
An Xiaoqian was slightly surprised when she saw this and was a little confused.
Suddenly, she seemed to remember something, and the altitude sickness he had mentioned before came to her mind.
His eyes immediately became concerned, and he quickly asked, "Xiaobei, are you okay?"
Hu Xiaobei looked at An Xiaoqian helplessly, sighed deeply, and there was a trace of unspeakable bitterness in his eyes: "Xixi, don't blow air into my ears, it's not good."
An Xiaoqian hastily denied it, shaking her head back and forth within a limited range: "I didn't..."
But when her eyes swept across the distance between them, and she just snorted again.
Thinking about it, it was not impossible, and the momentum weakened unconsciously.
She thought to herself: I haven't done anything bad, why do I feel like I've done something wrong?
With a hint of curiosity and confusion, she narrowed her eyes slightly and asked softly, "What's going on? I...I didn't do anything to you on purpose."
Hu Xiaobei forced a bitter smile, his eyes still showing a hint of embarrassment: "Well, my ears are quite sensitive. So, let's keep a little distance."
When An Xiaoqian heard this, her eyes suddenly widened, and then she showed an expression that said, "I understand."
Then he raised the corners of his mouth slightly, and said with a hint of sarcasm: "You are such a grown-up, how can you still be ticklish?"
Hu Xiaobei was just about to admit it. Being ticklish was better than being considered a pervert or something.
But An Xiaoqian, like a cunning little fox, raised her chin and threatened triumphantly: "Humph, very good, why don't you quickly lower your legs a little bit, otherwise..."
"This is part of the test, and it's for your own good." Hu Xiaobei frowned slightly and refused directly.
An Xiaoqian narrowed her eyes slightly, raised the corners of her mouth slightly, and raised her eyebrows and said, "Xiao Beizi, I'll give you another chance to reorganize your words. I'll come to Shudao Mountain..."
"No, where did you learn this 'Laozi Shudaoshan'?" Hu Xiaobei was at a loss for words for a moment, and shook his head helplessly.
An Xiaoqian raised her chin slightly, blinked her eyes, and said innocently, "Uh... two people seemed to be arguing yesterday, so I secretly learned some dialect. I think it's quite impressive."
Hu Xiaobei looked puzzled: "Then do you know what this sentence means?"
An Xiaoqian pouted, as if to say, "Don't look down on me," and said, "I know, the hotel waiter told me.
It means "I am from Shudao Mountain", um, it means to announce the name in the martial arts world. What's wrong?"
Hu Xiaobei suppressed his laughter and paused before saying seriously, "Well, you actually knew that. Not bad, not bad."
An Xiaoqian raised her chin slightly, with a little arrogance: "Of course!"
Then, she asked what she was most concerned about at the moment: "By the way, how long has it been?"
Hu Xiaobei looked at the time and found that it was already exceeded.
While watching her closely, he slowly lowered her left leg.
An Xiaoqian rubbed her left leg and smiled happily, "I knew chatting would work. Time passed in a flash and it didn't hurt at all."
She had just finished speaking when she didn't know where the pressure was applied, but it hurt so much that she immediately showed a mask of pain.
Chapters 66-67 were really tiring to write.
Chapter 66 requires checking and verifying various types of information. This kind of content is not pleasing, but I still feel that it should be written.
The actions, distances, scenes, and characters in Chapter 67 were too limited. I kept revising it until I was at a loss for words.
Next time I will try not to write interactive scenes with too many restrictions. My vocabulary is not enough, my writing skills are not good enough, and I can't let go at all.
