Chapter 783 Full of Love
The invisible superhuman struck ruthlessly, aiming straight for vital points!

Roger certainly hadn't expected these humans to have such unpredictable and varied attack methods, and such insidious and vicious teamwork.

The trap was laid in just a few words.

"Crack!"

A crisp, piercing sound rang out!

The blade struck Roger squarely on the neck, bending violently and creating a huge gash!

And there wasn't even a white mark left on Roger's neck!

Time seems to have frozen.

The leader of the superpowered individuals froze in his sinister grin, turning into utter stunned silence and terror.

The invisible superhuman, wielding a broken sword, revealed himself. Looking at the broken weapon in his hand, and then at Roger's intact neck, his pupils contracted sharply, and his mind went blank.

The person with the superpowers who was being bound felt a terrifying backlash the moment the energy chains they had gathered broke.

"Pfft!" The bound ability user in the distance was struck as if by a heavy blow, spitting out a mouthful of blood and collapsing to the ground with a pale face.

Roger tilted his head slightly, his brown eyes turning to the terrified invisible superhuman behind him.

By the time the invisible superhuman realized what was happening and tried to back away, he had already been kicked away like a tattered sack, crashing heavily into a rock wall more than ten meters away.

A clear cracking sound rang out, and he slid to the ground, blood mixed with fragments of internal organs spilling from his mouth. He twitched twice and then stopped moving.

All of this happened in the blink of an eye.

The remaining superhumans were terrified, finally realizing that this was a terrifying being beyond their comprehension!
"Monster! Monster! Kill him! Attack together!" The leader of the superhumans roared hysterically, unleashing all the remaining lightning energy. The other survivors were also enraged, and they used all sorts of superpowers to recklessly attack Roger.

However, it's too late.

Roger no longer held back; these people had murderous intentions towards him, so he naturally had no reason to keep them alive.

His body suddenly swelled and twisted, transforming into a giant wolf-tiger beast with sleek, perfect lines, explosive power, and cold beauty under the horrified gazes of the group of superpowered individuals!
In its deep, dark eyes lay an indifference as if looking down upon ants.

The beast's claws lashed out, accompanied by a piercing shriek that tore through the air, easily shattering the oncoming fireballs and ice spikes.

Its massive body lunged forward with a speed that defied the laws of physics, its sharp teeth and claws transforming into the scythe of death.

Screams, the sounds of bones shattering, and flesh tearing rang out briefly before quickly fading into silence.

In just a few breaths, only Roger's tiger form remained in the area, along with the scattered, gruesome corpses of other ability users.

A strong stench of blood filled the air, and the zombies deep in the canyon, stimulated by the scent of living beings, surged out with immense excitement.

A pair of terrifying white eyes were fixed on him, this "beast" that had invaded their territory...

After more than ten days of trekking, Bai Wanwan and the beastmen led Wang Hong and her group of survivors to the nearest medium-sized base.

In reality, it was just a settlement built on the outskirts of an abandoned county town, reinforced and renovated. It was dozens of times larger than the previous chaotic settlement, and had relatively complete walls, watchtowers, and entry and exit inspection systems.

But all that could be seen was still ruin and gloom, except that there were noticeably more powerful superhumans among the crowds coming and going.

After completing the inspection and simple registration, Bai Wanwan stopped.

“We have other things to do, so let’s part ways here.” She turned to Wang Hong and the others who had followed her, her voice gentle yet resolute. “They should be able to provide basic safety and a way to obtain food inside. Take care, everyone.” This was the apocalypse; human life was cheap, and she couldn’t save the world.

Wang Hong was already in tears, and she pulled her son to kneel down, but Bai Wanwan stopped her in time.

The other survivors also expressed their gratitude. They had gone through a long journey and several close calls, and reaching such a base alive was something they never dared to dream of.

"Thank you, thank you all!" Wang Hong choked up as she slowly left with her family.

Watching these survivors, whom she had met by chance, merge into the flow of people in the base with new hope and trepidation, Bai Wanwan withdrew her gaze.

"Let's go, let's go find out about the energy stone."

Just as she was about to take a step, Jin Ying reached out and grabbed her hand. "You've been traveling for more than ten days. Let Xin Feng and Yan Lie help you find a place to rest. The rest of us will go and inquire about the whereabouts of the energy stone."

Chief Rong nodded, looking at his female's slightly haggard face, and also disagreed with letting her continue to worry.

Xin Feng had already grasped Bai Wanwan's hand. "You two go ahead. I'll find a suitable place to stay."

And so, the group split into two. Bai Wanwan was arranged by the beastmen to stay in a decent bungalow with a courtyard.

Although he didn't know how long he would be staying here, Xin Feng still habitually kept the house very clean and arranged it comfortably.

Once everything was ready, Xin Feng handed her a glass of juice. "Wanwan, you haven't been sleeping well these past few days. Drink this and go rest for a while. I'll call you when dinner is ready."

After relaxing, Bai Wanwan was indeed a little tired.

The days of trekking, vigilance, and anxiety about having no clue about the energy stone were like an invisible layer of sandpaper, quietly wearing down her energy.

Lying on the clean and soft bed that Xin Feng had prepared, surrounded by the familiar and reassuring masculine scent, her tense nerves finally relaxed.

The glass of freshly squeezed juice was still on the small table by her bedside. She didn't even have time to take a sip before her consciousness sank into darkness.

Yan Lie lay on his side beside her, propping his head up with one hand, his gaze like the hottest yet gentlest branding iron, tracing her sleeping face inch by inch.

A few strands of black hair clung to her smooth forehead. He reached out and gently brushed them away with his fingertips, his movements careful, as if afraid of waking her.

Yan Lie's gaze lingered greedily, from her delicate eyebrows to the tip of her upturned nose, and then to her lips that he always wanted to kiss.

I lowered my head and gave her a light kiss...

When Bai Wanwan woke up, the first thing she saw was Yan Lie's eyes, which made no attempt to hide his love and infatuation.

"Awake?" His voice was low and hoarse, clearly suppressing something.

"Well, how long have I been asleep?"

Before she could even finish speaking, before she had even regained her senses, the intense, scorching heat enveloped her.

He precisely captured her lips, no longer with the cautious touches of before, but with a long-suppressed desire and passion, and kissed her deeply.

He tightened his arms, completely embedding her petite body into his embrace.

"Ugh..." Bai Wanwan was a little out of breath from the sudden enthusiasm, and her mind was still a mess from just waking up.

She could feel his heart pounding like a drum beneath his chest, and the urgency that almost set her ablaze.

His hands also began to wander, his calloused fingertips lingering on her waist, even trying to slip inside her clothes.
