Chapter 805 Nothing can happen!

With a burst of strength from his limbs, his massive body broke free from the snow, his snow-white fur covered in snow powder, making him look somewhat disheveled.

Once the two were safe, they immediately thought of their companion.

"Where's Yin Ze? Where's Zhu Xiu?" Yan Lie looked around anxiously, his voice filled with unease.

"I'm here……"

He was actually below and to the side of Yan Lie, but he had been pinned down by Yan Lie and couldn't get out.

Hearing the commotion, Yan Lie and Hua Han came closer and saw him struggling to break free. The two males immediately reached out and pulled him out.

Yin Ze's wings were disheveled. He coughed violently, spitting out the snow in his mouth. He quickly checked his wings and found that they were not broken, only with some scratches and bruises.

"Are you alright?" Hua Han asked.

"Thank goodness." Yin Ze's clear voice was hoarse with relief after the ordeal. He quickly scanned his surroundings, then his pupils contracted. "Where's Zhu Xiu?"

The originally powerful and easily escaped Zhu Xiu was nowhere to be found.

"Oh no!" Yan Lie exclaimed anxiously, starting to dig through the snow. "Zhu Xiu, where are you?"

Hua Han and Yin Ze's expressions instantly turned extremely ugly.

They recalled the last moments before the avalanche struck, when Zhu Xiu shielded them without hesitation, enduring the devastating attack.

Yin Ze's voice was hoarse: "He shielded us all with his body... He absorbed most of the impact... He must have been seriously injured!"

This realization plunged the three males into despair.

Zhu Xiu is the strongest member of the team and the leader and backbone of this operation.

If something happens to him, Wanwan will be very sad...

Therefore, they cannot allow anything to happen to Zhu Xiu!
"Find him quickly! Split up and search! We need to find him as soon as possible and check on his condition." Hua Han forced herself to calm down. Her fox body trembled slightly from anxiety and cold, but her voice had regained its composure.

The three males immediately began digging frantically in all directions from the spot where they had just been buried.

Before long, Yan Lie's claws encountered something hard and cold amidst the softness.

His heart tightened, and he moved gently, carefully brushing aside the top layer of snow with his claws, revealing a scale that shimmered with a dark luster, like obsidian.

It’s Zhu Xiu!
"Here it is!" Yan Lie turned around with great joy and shouted to Hua Han and Yin Ze, who were searching on the other side.

Hua Han and Yin Ze rushed over immediately upon hearing the sound.

The three males, without saying a word, used their claws, beaks, and wings to dig through the piled-up ice and snow.

The snow was quickly cleared away, revealing Zhu Xiu's enormous yet unusually quiet serpentine body.

Nearly half of his snake body was buried under heavy snow and ice, with only his upper body and neck visible, but the situation was dire.

The once smooth, black scales, which were as majestic as black satin, were now covered in mud and snow, making them look dull and lifeless.

Most shockingly, a large patch of scales had shattered and peeled off in the upper middle section of his snake body, revealing the blurry flesh beneath, and a deep, long wound that almost pierced through the side of his body!
Fresh blood gushed out, quickly congealing in the extreme cold, mixing with the snow to form dark red and black ice shards that clung tightly to the area around the wound.

His enormous snake head hung limply on the snow, his eyes closed, so that even his signature, menacing vertical pupils were not visible, and his breathing was so faint that it was almost imperceptible.

"Zhu Xiu!" Yan Lie's voice changed with fear and worry. He reached out his claws to touch him, but was afraid of aggravating his injuries.

Hua Han immediately rushed forward, cautiously approaching the snout of Zhu Xiu's massive snake head to sense the faint air currents. He then lightly touched the area beneath the scales on the side of Zhu Xiu's neck with his claw. "Still alive!" he said urgently, his voice tense, "But severely injured! Too much blood loss, and the cold air is seeping into the wounds!"

Snakes are cold-blooded animals and are naturally afraid of the cold. With such severe injuries and extreme cold, their situation is extremely critical.

Yin Ze spread his magnificent and dazzling golden-red phoenix wings and cried out anxiously, "We have to get him out of here first!"

Just as the three males were about to work together to try to pull Zhu Xiu's massive snake body out of the snowdrift and perform emergency treatment, Zhu Xiu, who had been motionless, suddenly trembled very slightly in its huge snake head, and its eyeballs seemed to roll for a moment beneath its tightly closed eyelids.

Then, a barely audible, yet hoarse and painful groan escaped from deep within his throat.

He slowly and with great difficulty opened his eyes!
His dark, vertical pupils were now somewhat unfocused due to the intense pain, blood loss, and cold, but he tried to focus his gaze on the three males surrounding him, their faces filled with anxiety.

His gaze slowly swept over them, confirming that Yan Lie, Hua Han, and Yin Ze were all still alive and did not appear to have any fatal injuries. Then, a barely perceptible hint of relaxation seemed to flash across the depths of his vertical pupils.

He tried to move his body, and the horrific wound in the middle of the snake's body was immediately aggravated. The intense pain caused his entire massive body to convulse violently, and the snake's head, which had just been raised, slumped back down weakly.

"Don't move!" Hua Han said urgently, "You're too badly injured! We have to get out of here right away!"

Zhu Xiu lowered his eyes and said softly, "No need, I'll recover soon."

After saying that, Zhu Xiu fell into a deep sleep.

The remaining three males watched him remain motionless. Yan Lie reached out to touch him several times and found that his body temperature was frighteningly low.

"Is it really okay?"

Hua Han's fox-like eyes were filled with seriousness. "The three of us can't carry him away. Let's wait and see. If he can't recover, we'll think of another way."

Red-rank males have extremely strong regenerative abilities, but for injuries of this severity... no one is confident they can recover.

After Zhu Xiu fell into a deep sleep, time seemed to freeze in the frigid cold of the Glacier Forest, making every minute and every second exceptionally difficult to endure.

Three males surrounded his enormous serpentine body, anxious but not daring to make a move.

They huddled together, pressing against the candle, trying their best to warm it with their own body heat.

The three males took turns pressing their ears or cheeks close to Zhuxiu's scales, trying to catch the faint changes in his heartbeat and breathing.

Initially, all that could be touched was icy cold. Zhu Xiu's body temperature was frighteningly low, not much better than the surrounding ice and snow, and his breathing was so shallow that it was almost nonexistent.

"Zhu Xiu's condition is very bad." Yan Lie's eyes were bloodshot, and he was almost crying.

"His red-tier male form has amazing regenerative abilities; he will definitely recover!" Hua Han's voice was resolute, as if she were comforting her companion, but also trying to convince herself.

But those fox-like eyes were filled with solemnity and uncertainty.

Such severe injuries, coupled with the deadly effects of the extreme cold on snakes, mean that even a Red-Rank snake could not survive.

Waiting became the cruelest torment.

The glacier was deathly silent, with only the endless howling of the cold wind, which only highlighted their anxiety and helplessness.

Wanwan's sad face kept flashing through their minds, adding to their heavy sense of responsibility.

We absolutely cannot let anything happen to Zhu Xiu!
