Chapter 76 76. Shooting Instruction
"These past few days I've felt like someone was watching my sister and I spar. Turns out it was you, Peeping Snake."

Noah strode into the room with a hint of teasing on his face.

Mingye sat by the window in silence, his head slightly lowered, concentrating on wiping the dagger in his hand.

The slender fingers moved flexibly, and the soft cloth in the hand wiped the dagger again and again, making it flash with cold light.

Noah didn't care about Mingye's silence. He turned sideways and looked out the window. Su Yaoyao was practicing alone in the yard. The sunlight shone on her, outlining her energetic figure.

"I really like my sister more and more. She is full of energy every day and exudes a vitality that is impossible to ignore."

The smile on Noah's face deepened unconsciously, his eyes full of appreciation and love.

Since she learned that the beastly husbands were still alive, Su Yaoyao no longer had any thoughts of suicide. Instead, she was full of fighting spirit and challenged Nuoer to a fight every day. Although she was beaten badly by Nuoer every time, she never gave up.

"When I think about being able to spend ten years with my sister like this, I can't help but feel happy." Noah's voice became softer, with a hint of longing, and a barely perceptible desire flashed in his eyes.

He wondered in his heart, could he replace Bai Leon and the others and become Su Yaoyao's true beast husband? Then it would be more than ten years.

Once this idea takes root in my heart, it grows wildly like weeds.

"Do you think she will stay here obediently for ten years?" Ming Ye finally spoke, his voice low and hoarse, as if coming from a deep ancient well.

These words were like a stone thrown into a calm lake, stirring up waves in Noah's heart.

The cynical smile on Noah's face disappeared in an instant.

He frowned slightly, a hint of doubt flashed in his eyes, and looked at Mingye and asked, "What do you mean?"

Mingye said coldly, "She firmly believes that her beastly husband will come to rescue her. She is training herself so hard now just to prepare for that day."

When Noah heard this, his brows furrowed even more tightly. He lowered his head slightly and fell into deep thought.

What Mingye said was indeed reasonable. Su Yaoyao's behavior during this period seemed to have a clear goal.

After a moment, Noah raised his head, his eyes full of worry, and said anxiously: "What should we do? Why not close the city for the time being and stop opening the black market? Let's wait and see how the situation develops..."

"No need." Mingye interrupted Noah, his voice low and cold, "If they dare to come, they will never return."

As he spoke, he raised the dagger in his hand, and a cold light flashed in his eyes.

"But my sister will be unhappy." Noah's face was full of conflict. He was worried that Su Yaoyao's beastly husbands would come and cause a conflict, and he was also afraid of making Su Yaoyao sad.

"What are you talking about?" At this moment, Su Yaoyao suddenly pushed the door and walked in.

Her face still had a blush from training, her hair was a little messy and stuck to her cheeks, but her whole body was filled with vigor and vitality.

Noah reacted very quickly, his face instantly replaced with that relaxed smile, and he jokingly said, "Sister, why are you here? Are you being lazy?"

Su Yaoyao rolled her eyes at him and said, "No, I want to practice with weapons. Mingye, the dagger in your hand is pretty good, why don't you teach me how to use it?" As she spoke, her eyes flashed with anticipation as she looked at Mingye.

Upon hearing this, Mingye did not respond immediately. He just looked up at her, then lowered his head and continued to wipe the dagger in his hand.

Seeing that he didn't say anything, Su Yaoyao couldn't help but curl her lips and pretended to be angry, "Stingy, didn't you say you would satisfy me if I needed anything?"

Mingye was silent for a moment, and finally spoke: "Daggers are often used as concealed weapons. They are suitable for close combat and require speed, accuracy and ruthlessness." As he spoke, he stood up, and the dagger in his hand quickly flipped and danced in his hand. His movements were smooth and flowing, and the knife light flashed, which was dazzling.

He looked at Su Yaoyao, his tone calm but with a hint of sharpness: "And you, you are too slow. At your current speed, I'm afraid you will die before you even get close to the enemy."

When Su Yaoyao heard this, her eyes, which were originally full of expectation, dimmed instantly. She sighed deeply and felt like a deflated ball.

Mingye looked at her quietly, and a barely perceptible trace of pity flashed across his usually stern face.

He opened his mouth slightly, and after a moment's silence, he finally spoke: "But you can try the pistol."

Su Yaoyao's eyes lit up instantly, and a glimmer of hope was rekindled.

……

So, Su Yaoyao followed Mingye with great anticipation and walked into the slightly old elevator in the castle.

The elevator slowly descended, making a slight creaking sound. This was Su Yaoyao's first time coming to the second underground floor.

When the elevator door slowly opened, a damp and metallic smell hit me in the face.

She saw the black-robed men busily moving around. Under the dim light, Su Yaoyao saw mountains of guns and artillery shells. These cold weapons flashed a chilling light under the light, which made her shiver.

Mingye brought Su Yaoyao to the shooting training ground, and the dim light elongated their figures.

The various guns on the wall shone coldly in the dim light, and the air was filled with a faint smell of gunpowder.

He picked out a small pistol from among the many guns and handed it to Su Yaoyao.

The gun body shone with a cold metallic light. Su Yaoyao took it carefully, her hands trembling slightly.

Oh my God, this was her first time touching a gun.

Seeing this, Mingye reached out and picked up the earplugs beside him and put them on her gently. His fingers accidentally touched her hair, which made Su Yaoyao's heart move slightly.

Then, Mingye stood behind Su Yaoyao, slowly raised his hands, wrapped them around her hands, and adjusted his gun-holding posture bit by bit.

His voice was low and steady, ringing in Su Yaoyao's ears: "Stretch your arms straight, hold them steady, don't shake, relax your shoulders, and treat the gun as a part of your body."

His breath gently brushed Su Yaoyao's neck, making her heartbeat even more uncontrollable.

“Aim for the bull’s eye, stay focused, and don’t be distracted by your surroundings.”

As Mingye spoke, he gently held Su Yaoyao's index finger and guided her to pull the trigger.

With a loud "bang", the bullet flew out of the barrel, and the hot air from the muzzle instantly dissipated in the cold air. Su Yaoyao's body trembled slightly due to the recoil.

"Not bad, it's good enough to be able to do this for the first time."

Mingye rarely praised her, and Su Yaoyao felt a little happy in her heart. She subconsciously turned her head to show off, but she forgot that they were very close to each other.

In an instant, without any warning, her lips touched Mingye's slightly cold thin lips.
