Chapter 5 Discussion
"Huh? Third brother, why are you back?" After An Jianmin saw An Jianping's figure clearly, he immediately took a few big steps towards him.

Jiang Shanshan, who was originally discussing with him in a low voice, had a slightly changed expression.

She thought about what she had just said at the branch secretary's house, and felt a little regretful that Jianmin wanted to agree directly, but she wanted to think about it again.

An Jianping greeted the couple first, but he did not directly answer An Jianmin's question.

After all, it would be inappropriate for him to ask or discuss things in such a place.

But seeing An Jianping's expression, An Jianmin and his wife thought the same thing.

He quickly called his third brother and headed home.

Jiang Shanshan pursed her lips and followed the two of them, but she didn't say a word until they got home.

Instead, after the brothers had brewed tea, she said, "Third brother, you talk to Jianmin. I'll go take a look at the garden."

"Third brother, why don't you stay home tonight? I'll go catch a chicken and clean it up later."

"No, sister-in-law, I have something to say to Jianmin. After I finish, I will go back to the city!" An Jianping quickly refused.

If they could prove something from his brother, I guess neither of them would be able to sit still even later, let alone stay until tonight.

Jiang Shanshan didn't try to persuade him much, but said, "Then don't be in a hurry to leave, Third Brother. I'll go to the garden and pick some vegetables. You can bring them back when you return to the city."

This time An Jianping did not refuse.

After Jiang Shanshan disappeared from view, An Jianping looked at An Jianmin with some embarrassment.

Along the way, An Jianping had actually thought a lot.

But now when he really had to speak, he didn't know where to begin.

An Jianping didn't know how to start, but An Jianmin didn't hesitate:
"Third brother, what do you think about what I said on the phone last time?"

His mind was full of the demolition, and An Jianping didn't react for a moment to what his younger brother was talking about.

He thought so and almost asked: "What is it?"

An Jianmin was a little surprised. He originally thought that his third brother came back to the village to wait for him because he had made up his mind.

Even though he thought so, he still said patiently:

“It’s about building a house together!”

"If your family comes together, we can build three houses together. One family will have five floors. This is really a big job."

"Whether it's negotiating workers or materials, we should be able to get a lot of discounts."

An Jianmin did not mention his nephew's house land.

After all, he knew that his third brother was still thinking about buying a house in the city for his nephew to get married.

If he really had this plan, he would probably have to subsidize the money for building the house first.

With his current wealth, helping to build one is not a problem.

If we really want to build two buildings at the same time, it will be a bit troublesome.

Just now, An Jianmin and his wife discussed the contracting of fish ponds, mulberry gardens and gardens at the village party secretary's house.

An Jianmin wanted to build a house, and every farmhouse in the village was doing well.

Although his fruit shop was doing well, he would never miss out on making money right in front of him.

An Jianping didn't know what his younger brother was thinking. He looked at An Jianmin's sincere expression and felt a little sad.

"Jianmin, why did you suddenly think of building a house?"

When An Jianmin heard An Jianping ask this, he instantly became alert.

He even felt that this was a symbol of his third brother's wavering.

Otherwise, he had mentioned this matter more than once in the past, and his third brother had never taken the initiative to ask for details!

Of course, An Jianmin temporarily forgot that every time he went to see his third brother, he would take the initiative to tell him all his plans.

After all, in the eyes of the entire An family, An Jianping, who came to the city early and established a firm foothold, is indeed more worthy of reliance.

"Most of our villagers are now developing farm stays, and some have planted small orchards for people to pick fruit."

“Some can grow and pick vegetables.”

"Some are fishing and barbecue." "Some rely on their craftsmanship, using authentic farm vegetables and free-range chickens and ducks."

“Some people even built swimming pools and rented out tents.”

"Third brother, you also know that we Shuncheng people can lack anything, but we can't lack food."

"Plus, the bus service to the lower counties was opened two years ago."

“There is a direct bus from the city to our village.”

"Whether you want to take your family out for a weekend break or just have some fun and eat, it's perfect for you."

"There are still fish ponds, mulberry trees, and flower fields in the village that have not been leased out."

"The village party secretary wanted to contract out the entire project this year and then bring the whole village together to scale up the business!"

"We've been there a few times. If the remaining fish ponds and mulberry fields weren't near the village, they would have been taken by someone long ago."

"What I'm hesitant about now is building a house on that residential land. There are no other houses around, and the road may not be accessible."

Needless to say, An Jianping also knew what was said next.

After all, An Jianmin had consulted him more than once since last year.

It’s just that in the past, An Jianping didn’t ask so carefully.

An Jianping couldn't help but carefully examine the expression on An Jianmin's face:

It seems like he has no news?
Was it simply good timing?
An Jianping thought.

"Third brother? What do you think?" An Jianmin asked again, "I know you're not very comfortable with your work right now because of my nephew's marriage."

"But it doesn't matter. Although my husband and I don't have much money, we can still build your house at the same time."

An Jianmin was not being unreasonably generous to his third brother.

There are six of them, brothers and sisters.

But there must be a reason why the two of them have the best relationship.

Now it is An Jianmin who wants to help his third brother.

But in the past, it was always An Jianping who helped him.

After thinking for a long time, An Jianping had already made a decision in his mind.

He stood up quickly, walked out of the yard and looked around.

Then he went into An Jianmin's house and checked almost every room carefully.

An Jianmin was a little confused and was about to ask his third brother what he was looking for.
He saw An Jianping already sitting next to him.

He lowered his voice and said, "Jianmin...When your niece was working at the hotel, she heard a resident on the top floor say that a logistics center was going to be built here."

"The neighboring village seems to have collected the tax two years ago? And they collected more than two-thirds of it."

“The rest shouldn’t be enough.”

"Logistics center?" An Jianmin's eyes widened instantly. He finally understood why his third brother was looking around just now.

If he had such news, he would not dare let any third person hear it.

"Yes!" An Jianping nodded affirmatively, and then said, "You have been asking me about building a house since last year, and you even called me specifically this year."

"I thought you had some news too!"

An Jianmin immediately shook his head wildly.

What news could he have?
He was just a fruit seller. If he had any information, the news would probably spread all over the village.

But An Jianmin was quick-witted. He called out to his third brother, "Let's go and take a look over there on our motorcycles."

The two villages are not far from each other, and the land has been expropriated for almost two years.

Logically speaking, it should be almost finished.

Especially according to the news he heard from his niece.
