My reply to a reader was deleted, so I'll clarify here. Uncle Michael from the *Halloween* series doesn't pose much of a threat to the current Middle-earth team. The real challenge lies with the elusive, unpredictable mastermind behind the scenes in the film series (writing this would be illegal, so please understand the implication), which is why I chose an entire series. (The original *Lord of the Rings* series is also a benchmark.) I don't like artificially inflating monster stats; like the enhanced alien minions in *Alien 4*, I don't think it's a good approach. Also, this volume, as a prelude to *Resident Evil 2*, will serve as a bridge, bringing back some of the original content. The success of *The Hole of Terror* volume one gave me a lot of confidence, and this volume, being an original work, will be easier to read. After all, horror movies are generally concise and straightforward, and some of the secondary settings already existed. Please look forward to it!
