The Heavenly Emperor of Chu

Chapter 100: Morality Through Six Lifetimes

Chapter 100: Six Generations of Morality (7K10K)

The Supreme Lord of Morality, one of the Nine Great Heavenly Venerables of the same mythological era, attained enlightenment in the early mythological era and is one of the oldest of the Nine Great Heavenly Venerables.

This celestial being lived from the mythological era to the time of the later Emperor Ye, never revealing his abilities and remaining extremely mysterious.

According to Chu Tianshu's estimation, he has probably gone very far on the path to immortality in the mortal world.

At the very least, the number of transformations should not be less than that of Lingbao Tianzun.

He must have encountered a major problem during one of his lifetimes, and was forced to bury himself in the ancient star of antiquity.

In later generations, the Supreme Lord of Morality communicated with spirits through his corpse, and in ancient times on Earth, he took the alias Laozi.

If we consider the two emperors Yan and Huang, who were transformed from the spirits of the Emperor Hengyu Void Corpse, and Shakyamuni, who was transformed from Amitabha Buddha, then...

Since these individuals lived in the same era, it's likely that the Celestial Venerable of Morality's transformation failed during this period in the Void of the Universe, fluctuating for tens of thousands of years.

Otherwise, if he had truly buried himself in the ancient star of the primordial era during the mythological age, his imperial corpse would have already become sentient, instead of waiting until the era of Emperor Ye in later generations.

After all, the ancient star of the primordial era is no ordinary place; it seems to be able to accelerate the process of the Emperor's corpse becoming spiritually connected.

Chu Tianshu guessed that the Celestial Venerable of Morality was probably still struggling in the mortal world at this time, and that a major problem would not arise until the middle and late stages of the Desolate Ancient Era.

In such a long period of time, the Celestial Venerable of Morality must have lived in reverse for at least six lifetimes.

In the entire human universe, the ancient star of the Primordial Era is the most likely place where the Celestial Venerable of Morality is hiding.

It had been more than 30,000 years since Chu Tianshu stepped onto the ancient star in his previous life.

Moreover, at that time he was focused on studying the Yin-Yang Dao and did not carefully explore the ancient star.

If Chu Tianshu's guess is true, then the Celestial Venerable of Morality should still be at his peak, probably even stronger than Chu Tianshu.

Even if a Celestial Venerable who has traveled extremely far on the path to immortality in the mortal world truly wanted to hide himself, Chu Tianshu was powerless to do so.

However, compared to the vast universe, the Celestial Venerable of Morality is most likely to reside on a primordial ancient star.

To verify whether the Celestial Venerable of Morality is on the ancient star of the primordial world, you only need to go to one place.

Thinking of this, Emperor Chu Tianshu's eyes flickered slightly. He took a step forward, traversing endless, distant time and space, passing through countless celestial rivers.

Before long, a bright blue ancient star of life reappeared in Chu Tianshu's sight.

The entire ancient life star was extremely magnificent, with more than ten Daoist rhymes alone, and one unique Daoist rhyme that exuded an aura that was worshipped by heaven, earth, humans, ghosts and gods.

Chu Tianshu glanced at it, ignoring the array patterns set up in the void of the ancient star, took a step and instantly appeared on the top of Mount Tai.

Mount Tai is majestic and imposing, like a giant standing tall between heaven and earth.

This is a vast source of life, where the rich essence of heaven and earth condenses into colorful ribbons in the sky above Mount Tai, and countless rare and exotic animals live in the mountains.

In the darkness, a mysterious force of fortune seemed to be gathering from the void and slowly flowing into the depths of Mount Tai.

If one could split Mount Tai open, one would surely see a magnificent golden palace floating at its base, with wisps of imperial majesty descending from it, seemingly capable of suppressing even time and space.

Milky white faith power converged into a boundless ocean, constantly nourishing the three golden statues in the hall.

However, Chu Tianshu did not focus his gaze on the Human Emperor's Palace, but instead turned his attention to the surrounding void.

Soon, he discovered new array patterns in the void near Mount Tai, which seemed to be intentionally or unintentionally concealing the existence of the Human Emperor's Palace.

Moreover, his methods were extremely sophisticated, far surpassing those of Chu Tianshu.

"I was right, the Celestial Venerable of Morality did indeed visit Mount Tai."

"And who knows, while I was setting up the Emperor's Palace, that old geezer might have been lurking somewhere watching."

Emperor Chu Tianshu narrowed his eyes slightly, the scene before him confirming his suspicions.

His actions on the ancient star back then could deceive ordinary cultivators, but they could never deceive a Dao Prover, let alone a mythical Celestial Venerable walking the path of immortality in the mortal world.

As long as the Celestial Venerable of Morality is still on the ancient star of the primordial world, and as long as he is not a dead man, he naturally cannot remain indifferent.

"Empiricism can be deadly; information from later generations is not necessarily all correct!"

Chu Tianshu felt a chill run down his spine. He hadn't thought too much about it when he was setting up the Human Emperor's Palace.

After all, according to the lineage of later generations, from mythology to the ancient times, only the Underworld Lord, the Emperor Lord, and the Immortal Emperor successfully traversed the path to immortality in the mortal world.

Needless to say, after discussing the Dao with the Underworld Lord, Chu Tianshu was very clear about his methods, and the array patterns here were definitely not set up by the Underworld Lord.

Moreover, the Underworld Lord was right under Chu Tianshu's nose at the time.

The Emperor is most likely hiding in some strange world, and it's unlikely he'll appear on the ancient primordial planet.

Since the Immortal Emperor did not take action in his later years, he was probably in the midst of Nirvana and had no time to spare for anything else.

Aside from the two of them, Chu Tianshu truly hadn't expected that an ancient celestial being was hiding on the ancient star of the primordial wilderness.

Moreover, he has gone extremely far on the path to immortality in the mortal world, and his strength far surpasses that of Chu Tianshu.

It seems that if the Celestial Venerable of Morality had not encountered a major problem in his seventh incarnation, perhaps another immortal in the mortal world would have appeared in later generations.

"Fellow Daoist, why not show yourself?"

Chu Tianshu murmured, and the sound of his Dao instantly spread throughout the entire ancient star of the Primordial World. Unless one was an Extreme Dao Supreme Being, one could not hear it at all.

"Your Majesty the Heavenly Emperor is truly powerful, achieving such a glorious Dao attainment in just two lifetimes!"

As soon as he finished speaking, an old man dressed in a yin-yang Taoist robe suddenly emerged from the void, holding a whisk in his hand, and exuding a transcendent Taoist charm in every gesture.

"This humble Taoist, Daode, greets the Supreme Heavenly Emperor!" Daode Tianzun bowed and spoke first.

"Taiyi greets Fellow Daoist Tao."

Chu Tianshu returned the greeting; this ancient celestial being from the mythological era had truly taught him a lesson.

Do not underestimate a sage who has made his mark in ancient history.

After all, the era of the future Emperor Ye is still millions of years away. People who died in the future may not be dead now, such as Lingbao Tianzun.

Those who fail to transform in later generations may not necessarily fail now. For example, the current Moral Celestial Venerable is even more powerful than Chu Tianshu.

If he hadn't failed in his transformation in later generations, he would most likely have been the first to achieve the status of a mortal immortal.

This Moral Celestial Venerable is extremely ancient. In the mythological era, he was probably only after the Tribulation Celestial Venerable and much earlier than the Emperor Venerable.

"Tens of thousands of years have passed, and you still retain your former glory. You truly deserve to be revered as the Heavenly Emperor by the world."

With the eyesight of the Moral Celestial Venerable, it was not difficult to see that Chu Tianshu was in his prime and far from the end of his career.

Recalling Chu Tianshu's appearance on the ancient star in the primordial world last time, the Celestial Venerable of Morality was quite surprised to find that the Supreme Heavenly Emperor in front of him seemed to be in his second incarnation.

When the Celestial Venerable of Morality saw Chu Tianshu again, he was truly surprised.

When the Celestial Venerable of Morality first met Chu Tianshu, he merely regarded him as an extremely powerful Daoist with remarkable insight.

This time it's completely different. It's a Heavenly Emperor who has embarked on the path to immortality in the mortal world, and his lifespan seems to be very long, so he deserves the serious attention of the Moral Celestial Venerable.

This is also the reason why the Celestial Venerable of Morality appeared.

"Fellow Daoist Celestial Venerable seems to have entered his later years?" Chu Tianshu asked with some curiosity. Although the Celestial Venerable in front of him still had the appearance of a white-haired, youthful-looking man, there was still a faint trace of aging about him in his body.

Chu Tianshu was very familiar with this state, which was exactly the same as when he was lying in the Chu family ancestral land waiting to die.

Clearly, this renowned ancient celestial being is on his deathbed and about to begin his next transformation.

"Your Majesty the Heavenly Emperor has excellent eyesight. This humble Taoist has indeed reached the limit of his lifespan in this lifetime."

"If His Majesty the Heavenly Emperor had arrived a few hundred years later, he probably would not have been able to see this humble Taoist."

The Celestial Venerable of Morality did not hide anything and openly admitted that he was not in good condition.

On the one hand, he was quite confident in his own abilities.

On the other hand, he was not completely ignorant of the outside world; at least he trusted Chu Tianshu, the Supreme Heavenly Emperor.

"Really?"

Chu Tianshu thought to himself, if the records of later generations are correct, then the Celestial Venerable of Morality probably encountered a major problem when he was transforming into his seventh incarnation, and only after suffering for hundreds of thousands of years did he have no choice but to bury himself.

The probability of this happening again in the eighth generation is extremely small.

Even if there were, it wouldn't be as serious as the case of Laozi, whose millions of years of arduous cultivation were destroyed in an instant, leaving only a spirit-possessed imperial corpse.

Judging from Lao Tzu's behavior in later generations, he clearly did not recognize himself as the Moral Celestial Venerable.

Unfortunately, an ancient celestial being who was about to achieve perfect enlightenment fell in the darkness before the dawn.

Chu Tianshu felt a pang of regret in his heart.

"What is His Majesty the Heavenly Emperor sighing about?"

The Celestial Venerable of Morality saw the regret in Chu Tianshu's eyes, but still maintained a cheerful expression.

"Fellow Daoist Celestial Venerable is about to undergo a transformation; I don't know when we will meet again."

Chu Tianshu was neither disappointed nor did he reveal his suspicion that the Moral Celestial Venerable might fail in his transformation.

The path to transformation is always a matter of life and death, with success or failure separated by a mere hair's breadth.

If Chu Tianshu were to assert at this moment that the Moral Celestial Venerable was about to fail in his transformation, even if the Moral Celestial Venerable had the best of a nature, he might still have to fight with Chu Tianshu.

That's secondary. The most crucial thing is to maintain an absolutely confident and flawless Dao heart during the transformation, firmly believing that one's path is correct and without error.

Only in this way can we find life amidst death, rise from ruin, and revive from desolation.

The moment one harbors even the slightest doubt about oneself, one will vanish into nothingness.

"Fellow Daoist Heavenly Emperor, there is no need for this. If all goes well, it won't be long before we can meet again."

The Celestial Venerable of Morality was unconcerned, his eyes brimming with confidence, and a vibrant energy emanating from his brow. He did not resemble an elderly man, but rather a passionate young man rising like the sun.

"Fellow Daoist Heavenly Emperor, my transformation is imminent!"

"Today I am fortunate to meet a fellow Daoist who is walking on the road. Let us have a discussion on the Dao."

The Celestial Venerable of Morality also attaches great importance to this Taiyi Heavenly Emperor, who is celebrated by the world.

He could clearly feel waves of palpitations emanating from this Heavenly Emperor, clearly indicating that this Heavenly Emperor was no ordinary person and could cause him harm.

Such a remarkable figure must have unique insights into the myriad principles of heaven and earth, which can provide valuable reference for him.

"Since the Celestial Venerable has invited us, we certainly cannot refuse!"

Chu Tianshu was quite decisive; discussing the Dao with a mythical celestial being who had lived six lifetimes in reverse was a great fortune for him.

Every ancient celestial emperor who walks the path has their own unique way of doing things, which may provide you with considerable inspiration.

The next moment, boundless spiritual energy from heaven and earth converged and condensed into two Dao platforms in the void.

At the same time, the Supreme Lord of Morality took the lead in expounding his own Great Dao.

In an instant, the entire Mount Tai lost its color, and the once vibrant and colorful world was transformed into a black and white world.

At this moment, the moon and the sun merge and flow, transforming into a Taiji diagram that encompasses heaven and earth.

The Supreme Lord of Morality sat cross-legged in the Lesser Yin position, explaining his impending end.

Chu Tianshu sat cross-legged in the Shaoyang position, symbolizing that he was like the newly born sun, still in the growth stage.

The endless flow of Yin and Yang Daoist principles elucidates the evolution of heaven and earth, vividly portraying the demeanor of this ancient celestial being from the mythological era.

"As expected of the Moral Celestial Venerable, his understanding of the Yin-Yang Dao is far superior to mine."

Although Chu Tianshu also cultivated the Yin-Yang Dao, he did not delve deeply into this Dao; he merely wanted to use the Yin-Yang Dao to comprehend chaos.

But the Celestial Venerable of Morality was different; he truly devoted himself to the cultivation of the Dao, constantly practicing diligently on the Great Dao of Yin and Yang, and achieved extraordinary Dao results.

In particular, these Yin-Yang Daoist principles seemed to subtly explain the process of the birth and death of heaven and earth and the evolution of all things, from which Chu Tianshu benefited greatly.

However, what surprised Chu Tianshu was why the Moral Celestial Venerable did not unify Yin and Yang and evolve chaos.

According to his understanding of the Yin-Yang Dao, unifying Yin and Yang is only a matter of a moment.

"Could it be that this ancient Celestial Venerable from the mythical era was unaware that the Great Dao of Chaos could evolve into a Chaotic Body?"

This situation is not impossible, after all, the time when the Celestial Venerable of Morality attained enlightenment was much earlier than the time when Wang Bo was born.

Afterwards, Wang Bo's physical body was refined into the ancient star of the Big Dipper.

Even if the Celestial Venerable of Morality were to return in his later life, he would only consider the Chaos Body to be an extremely powerful physique and would not take it too seriously.

Chu Tianshu knew perfectly well that the two Heavenly Emperors of later generations had successfully transformed into the Chaos Body.

Based on their experience, Chu Tianshu was able to deduce the harmony of Yin and Yang and the evolution of chaos.

Before long, the Yin-Yang Daoist energy at the summit of Mount Tai began to stop flowing and then slowly dissipated.

In an instant, golden rays of sunlight streamed down from the sky, and the world was once again bathed in vibrant colors.

"I have benefited greatly from Fellow Daoist Tianzun's insights into the Great Dao of Yin and Yang."

"I happen to have some shallow insights into the Dao of Yin and Yang as well, and I hope that you will not hesitate to enlighten me, fellow Daoist."

As soon as Chu Tianshu finished speaking, the Taishan region changed once again, and the Yin-Yang Daoist rhythm reappeared, pulling the entire region back into a world of black and white.

In a short while, the Daoist principles of Yin and Yang began to flow again.

At first, the Celestial Venerable of Morality did not care, after all, he was known for his mastery of the Yin-Yang Dao, and Chu Tianshu's actions were nothing more than showing off his limited skills in front of an expert.

But soon, the expression of the Celestial Venerable Morality became unusually solemn.

"When Yin and Yang unite, chaos arises?"

"Transform into a chaotic entity?"

"Your Majesty the Heavenly Emperor is truly talented!"
