Notes on Longevity

Chapter 105 Final Thoughts

Chapter 105 Final Thoughts
With this, the first volume comes to an end, and I still maintain the same feelings I had when I first started writing this book. I want to write a different kind of fantasy novel.

To be honest, many readers have told me after reading it: "This book isn't really suited for online novels; it's more suited for print." But I know that the difference between my book and a print book isn't that significant. So, my book deviates from online novels and doesn't quite fit into the print book genre, which is rather awkward. (Hahaha, let me laugh at myself for a bit.)
However, since I've made up my mind to write it, I won't abandon or cut it off just because the grades are bad.

Other authors had previously advised me to abandon the project and rewrite it from scratch, but I refused. Because without an outline, the story and characters were already in my head, already finalized.

Moreover, no matter how this book is written, it follows this path. So far, it has basically not deviated from what I had in mind at the time, so I guess it can be considered a success.

Moreover, I think that readers who have made it this far should be able to see what makes this Xianxia novel different from other Xianxia novels.

Based on my story's pace, this book will most likely end around 2.2 million words, divided into many volumes, each with approximately 200,000 to 300,000 words.

The first volume is currently complete and has a more down-to-earth feel.

For the second volume, I plan to write some strange and unusual things, at least things that I find strange.

I know this book has deterred many readers, and to be honest, I'm saddened by that.

That's all for now. I'll take a couple of days off, sort out my thoughts, and see you in Volume Two.
