Chapter 55 Master Damon White

In the dark and damp room, painful moans rose and fell from time to time.

"Ho-ho-"

Under the moonlight, Professor Quirrell faced the floor-length mirror and used the mirror to remove the gauze and change the dressing by himself.

He had no one he could trust, and he didn't dare tell Madam Pomfrey about this, so he had to steal some medicine from Snape and treat his injuries hastily.

During this process, he felt a constant tingling sensation all over his body, and his skin seemed to be burning with flames all the time.

“Woo—woo—”

Looking at the scars on his body that were densely packed like centipedes, Quirrell's sighs became heavier, sounding a bit like sobbing, echoing sadly in the night wind.

"Useless waste! Are you crying—over a child!"

In the room where Quirrell was alone, a second voice suddenly rang out. This voice was terrifying and ferocious, like the roar of a devil in the quiet room.

"M-Master, I'm sorry—I'm in so much pain."

"Idiot! You should be focusing on something else than pain!"

At the back of Quirrell's head, a hideous and terrifying face roared angrily. Its color was as white as chalk, with glowing red eyes and two snake-like nostrils below.

"Master, what should I be focusing on? That kid named Daemon is incredibly powerful. I can't defeat him. I'm afraid I won't be able to get the Philosopher's Stone for you!"

"You're going to betray me, Quirrell? You disgusting scum, after witnessing a force greater than your own, you're beginning to doubt your master's power?

Stupid! Can't you feel the power of pain? "

"Master—what do you mean?"

"Use the Killing Curse yourself and feel it. Dark magic is the most powerful magic in the world!"

Upon hearing this, Quirrell used Transfiguration to erect a target and said to it:

Avada Kedavra

The way he swung the stick was not very confident, and his tone was not very firm, but the pain from his body made Quirrell's heart become painful and crazy.

He hated Damon who caused all this. He had never thought that there would be a student more annoying than Harry Potter. How hateful!

But Quirrell had to admit that he was afraid - he had chosen to surrender because he was afraid of the Dark Lord's power.

He believed that Voldemort would one day return, and by that time, all unsteady Death Eaters would be eliminated by him, so he chose to take the initiative to find Voldemort.

But Quirrell never imagined that he would be the first person to find Voldemort.

Wow!
A dazzling green light shone in the quiet room. Quirrell looked at the killing curse, which was much more powerful than before, and couldn't believe that this was his own power.

"See? You're no longer the same as before! Bring your hatred for that little devil with you. Bring the Philosopher's Stone to me, and I'll help you wipe out everything!"

"Yes—Master!"

Looking at the dazzling green light, Quirrell regained some confidence.

The smile on his face was half crying, half laughing, and it looked extremely strange against the green light.

Damon quickly solved the problem of the fire dragon Norbert.

In his reply, Slug Ziggs said that the magic suitcase was a prohibited item and he could not sell it, but there was a shop called Borgin and Burke's in Knockturn Alley that could definitely meet Damon's needs, but the price would be very high.

If Damon needs it, he can solve it.

Things suddenly became simpler—again, a problem that can be solved with gold Galleons isn't a problem. Even though the two hundred gold Galleons he initially exchanged were almost gone due to his reckless spending.

Dimon had to write another letter and ask his asset agent in London to buy some gold and jewelry as payment.

Fortunately, for Damon, the whole thing only required writing two letters.

However, for the other two, it was very cumbersome.

Slug Giggs had to close the shop for a day to handle the matter for Damon personally - when it came to Muggles, he had to be extra cautious - and the gold Galleons Damon paid was totally worth it.

Damon was not afraid that Slug would play tricks and run away with the money. He was a wealthy man with a lot of money, so there was no need for him to do such things. Moreover, he did not let the agent exchange too much at a time - he would just go to Gringotts with the gold when he went home on vacation.

The service at Borgin & Burke is fast and excellent.

Just seven days later, on the second Friday morning, Damon saw the quaint suitcase lying quietly on the table.

Damon came to the box in his pajamas. There was an envelope stuck to it with magic. After opening it, he found an introduction to the suitcase.

Tanned from a whole piece of Hebridean black dragon hide, the texture of the layered scales glows with a cold metallic luster in the morning light.

The box is about two feet long and adopts the style of a retro leather suitcase. The raised spine-like keel on the curved dome runs through the head and tail. The whole box is slender, short and narrow, and looks very light.

Considering that Damon was used to raise magical animals, the box was cast with a traceless extension spell to widen the space, and nine scenes were created according to classification. The first one was exactly the snowy mountain environment needed by the Norwegian Ridgeback Norbert.

At the same time, to ensure safety, Ouroboros-style magic locks were forged with mithril on both sides of the front of the box. Only the first person to input magic power can open it. It is currently in the unset mode, waiting for Damon to activate it.

Of course, under the influence of magic, the magical creatures inside cannot break the seal of the suitcase from the inside, completely eliminating the possibility of magical animals escaping.

In order to get such a perfect suitcase, Damon spent a full three thousand gold galleons.

"It's no wonder a shop like this can survive in a place like Knockturn Alley, where there's a lot of good and bad people. Although the prices are a bit high, the quality is really excellent."

A look of satisfaction appeared on Damon's face. He stretched out two fingers from each hand and placed them on the Ouroboros lock, infusing it with his own magic power. The mithril lock shone slightly, and the Ouroboros that was biting its tail seemed to come alive and relaxed slightly.

"Clap."

With a crisp sound, the suitcase opened, revealing its completely black interior structure. At the same time, Harry and Ron were awakened by the crisp sound. When they saw Damon standing in front of the suitcase, they instantly realized what it meant.

Is that magical box that can hold a fire dragon already ready?

They all jumped off the bed quickly and nimbly, walked barefoot to Damon, and admired this luxurious magical creation together.

Unlike the rough and wild outer dragon skin, the lining of the suitcase is made of matte soft leather, which feels cool and soft. It looks no different from an ordinary suitcase, but as long as you apply a certain amount of pressure, you can access the space inside.

Damon grabbed the little dragon out of his chest - in the past seven days, Norbert's body had expanded three times like a balloon, but he had been controlled by Damon with a shrinking spell.

If Damon hadn't been there to comfort her, provide her with enough food and drink, and be far stronger than her, she would have made a fuss if any of these things were missing.

Now, we can finally give her a comfortable environment.

"Can we join you?"

Harry and Ron whispered behind Damon.

"Of course, come along."

The three men and the dragon jumped into the world in the suitcase together.

Because of this, they missed the impending riot that would have shocked all the wizards at Hogwarts - thousands of owls flew in from all over Britain, covering the sky and blocking out the sun, like some kind of terrifying locust plague, all moving towards Hogwarts.

They all have a common goal - to deliver the master's letter to the discoverer of the White Theorem and the emerging master of Transfiguration - Mr. Damon White.
