Chapter 62 We Still Have Damon
The weather gradually became hot and humid.

This is especially true in the exam classroom.

Last winter, Hermione made a heater - she used magic to create blue flames, and then carried it with her in a jam jar to keep warm in the winter.

Damon expanded on this idea and used Transfiguration to make a bunch of round air conditioning valves that could be buckled on their bodies and distributed them to them, using them as air conditioners.

After finishing his last History of Magic exam, Damon walked out of the examination room feeling happy.

During this period, with Bagshot as his thesis advisor, he published three new branch theorems in "Transfiguration Today". He believed that he had mastered all the transfiguration theorems without property changes.

In addition, the grown-up fire dragon Norbert became an excellent sparring partner for him - this has now become their after-meal digestion exercise.

As a powerful magical creature, the Norwegian Ridgeback has strong physical and magical resistance. Damon basically does not need to hold back when sparring with it. Except for not using spells with excessive lethality and not outputting too much magic power, he can use almost any transformation spell on it.

Although the fire dragon is powerful, it is still not enough in front of his transformation.

In addition, Daemon would not try to use the armor spell to defend against any attack unless it was unavoidable - although he always used magic to keep the effect of this spell.

Under this self-imposed limitation, his reaction speed became faster and faster through training, and he became more and more adapted to combat.

If he were to fight Quirrell with all his strength now, he thought he could easily win - this also meant that there were few people in the entire wizarding world who could restrain him in a one-on-one fight.

This gives him more room to maneuver.

He had already promised Susan Burns that he would visit her home during the summer vacation, and by the way, meet the righteous Director of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Magic - the other party had previously communicated with Damon in letters, but it was more of a courtesy.

However, he still has to stay in school for a few days, waiting for the test results to be announced. In addition, the final plot of the Philosopher's Stone is about to begin.

Damon twisted the five fingers of his right hand slightly, feeling a little itchy.

Let’s go meet Quirrell tonight.

A year of hard training should have a perfect ending.

Harry has had a bad headache lately.

This phenomenon first occurred since we met the black-robed man in the Forbidden Forest, and it has become more and more frequent.

He had thought that this was due to the approaching exam week.

But unexpectedly, after the last exam was over, his headache still did not ease at all - he began to think that this was a warning.

It means some danger is coming!

At some point, he suddenly realized that perhaps the appearance of Norbert the dragon was not a coincidence - Hagrid had always wanted a dragon, and then he met someone in the tavern who lost a bet to him with a dragon egg. How could it be such a coincidence?!

"What did you say to him, Hagrid? Did you mention Fluffy?"

Harry and the other two came to Hagrid's hut and looked at the giant nervously.

"Does he seem—seem interested in Lou Williams?"

"Yes—quite interesting—how many three-headed dogs can you come across, even near Hogwarts? So I told him Fluffy was easy enough to deal with, if you just knew how to quiet him down, put on some music, and he'd be asleep in no time—"

A look of horror crossed Hagrid's face. "I shouldn't have told you that!" he blurted out. "Forget what I said! Hey - where are you going?"

The trio ignored him and discussed anxiously:

"We must go to Dumbledore," said Harry. "Hagrid told a stranger how to subdue Fluffy. The man in the cloak could be either Snape or Voldemort—he could easily get Hagrid drunk. I just hope Dumbledore believes us."

The three of them discussed briefly for a while and then took quick action, but were stopped by Professor McGonagall.

They quickly asked Professor McGonagall for help, but were surprised to learn that Dumbledore was not in school at the moment. He received an urgent letter sent by owl from the Ministry of Magic and immediately flew to London!

Furthermore, Professor McGonagall issued a stern warning to them:

"I don't know how you found out about the Philosopher's Stone, but don't worry, no one can steal it. It is well protected and absolutely safe."

Harry and the others naturally didn't believe Professor McGonagall, or rather, they thought Professor McGonagall was also deceived by Snape!
"Well, that seems to be the only way, right?"

Hermione and Ron stared at Harry, seeing that his face was pale and his eyes were shining.

"I'm going to sneak in here tonight. I'm going to try to get the Philosopher's Stone first so that Snape can't get it!"

"Harry! This is too risky! You'll be expelled!"

"This is crazy, man!"

Faced with the obstruction of Hermione and Ron, Harry was angry. He felt that they did not understand the seriousness of the matter at all!
"So what?" he cried. "Don't you understand? If Snape gets his hands on the Philosopher's Stone, Voldemort will come back!
If he succeeds in resurrecting, he will raze the school to the ground and Hogwarts will no longer exist. At that time, will it matter whether we win the house cup or I am expelled?
Or should we kneel down and beg for mercy from this dark devil and choose to join him?

I'm going through that trapdoor tonight, and nothing either of you can say will stop me! Voldemort killed my parents, remember? I'm going to stop him!"

"You're right - Harry." Hermione was convinced and forced to accept Harry's statement, but soon she thought of something and said happily, "Damon! We can tell Damon!"

"Remember? Snape is no match for him! What if we run into Snape through the trapdoor? We go find Damon! Damon can stop him!"

Ron's eyes lit up and he said excitedly:

“Yes, we can tell Damon to go with us, so the risk of being discovered is much smaller.

And - I feel that Professor McGonagall's attitude towards Damon is different from ours. Perhaps Damon can convince her!"

Harry was interrupted by the two and became hesitant again after making up his mind.

But soon, they made up their minds again in their madness - because they found that they could not find Damon at all.

"If we're not expelled by the end of this, I'll definitely find his secret base!"

Hermione said viciously, and Harry and Ron nodded in agreement.

When night fell, Harry and Ron got up quietly. Before leaving, they took a last look at Damon's empty bed - Damon didn't come back to spend the night today. Was he practicing spells somewhere again?

They could not have imagined that the person they were thinking about had already entered the room under the trapdoor one step ahead of them.
