Chapter 76 Mr. White? !

Harry raised his head and looked at the nobleman who greeted him with surprise, his pupils suddenly widened!
Damon!

So, is that true? Mr. White, is that really Dimon?

But—why?!

Harry stared at Damon in amazement, unable to believe that he would meet him at this time.

"You—you know each other? Mr. White."

Harry saw Uncle Vernon asking Damon respectfully, and his servile look made him feel contemptuous - So you can speak nicely, right?

"Of course! These are my siblings, my dearest friends!"

Damon walked over and hugged Harry, ignoring the sticky cream on his body. "Dude, are you playing the birthday game?"

"Hah—playing with me alone?"

Harry reluctantly responded to Damon's inappropriate humor, his mind blank.

Damon patted his shoulder, and Harry seemed to see him wink at him secretly. Was it an illusion?
He saw Damon turn around, and even though he couldn't see his face, Harry could feel his anger at the moment.

"How dare you do this to my good friend? You lied to him about being sick and locked him in his bedroom, not letting him attend the family dinner? Isn't he a part of this family?"

"No—of course not—Mr. White—I didn't think of it."

Vernon blushed and faltered in his explanation.

Harry saw Dudley's face turn pale and he stared at him with wide eyes, as if he couldn't believe that he could know such a great man as Damon.

Yes, he owned his own factory at the age of twelve, and could even make Vernon lose his job with just one word. Such a person was actually Harry Potter's good friend?

Why did he never write to Porter?

"It's a misunderstanding. I can explain it."

Vernon spent a long time organizing his words, but in the end he only said such funny words.

But what he didn't expect was that Damon believed it.

"Of course, I'm willing to give you a chance to explain, for my friend's sake!"

Damon turned and looked at Harry, "Would you mind taking a shower, then changing and meeting us in the hall?"

"Don't worry, I'll take care of everything." Harry heard Damon whisper in his ear.

He suddenly calmed down, nodded, and ran to take a shower.

Harry moved quickly and just five minutes later he reappeared in the hall. By then the Dursleys had regained their composure and were talking and laughing with Damon again.

"So it was all a misunderstanding. Now that we've cleared it up, everything's fine!" Damon said to Vernon, holding up his champagne glass. "As long as my friend lives well in your house, I'm willing to establish a long-term partnership with your company. I'll offer them a commission, and you'll be a millionaire in no time!"

Vernon's face flushed, but this time he was excited - their family was about to live a life of wealth and glory!

"But - if I find out that Harry is even the slightest bit unhappy here, all cooperation will end. Do you understand?"

"understand!"

Vernon took Damon's outstretched hand in his own and repeated his affirmation.

Damon nodded and snapped his fingers. The manager, Shard Clement, who had been standing behind him without saying a word, stepped forward silently and took out the factory's order contract.

Vernon glanced through it quickly and signed his name in ecstasy.

"Pleasant to work with."

"Pleasant to work with."

Harry had never seen Uncle Vernon look so happy - and just then, out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of himself.

Afterwards, the Dursleys showed a warmth towards Harry that they had never shown before.

"Oh! Harry, you little rascal! If I had known you were going to play this, I should have asked Petunia to prepare more puddings." Vernon laughed and waved to Harry. Petunia responded from the side, and even Dudley reluctantly called him "Cousin Harry".

"No need. I really didn't expect to see him here. I'm so happy. I want to take him out to celebrate!"

Damon put his arm around Harry and looked at this disgusting family - during the tour, he had seen the basement where Harry lived - there was not even a separate toilet.

He felt even more dissatisfied with Dumbledore in his heart - how could he ignore all this?

"I'm going to take Harry away for a while. I'll bring him back before school starts. Do you mind?"

"It's all right if he doesn't come back—oh! I mean, I don't mind at all."

Vernon smiled falsely and waved eagerly, as if he couldn't wait to say goodbye to the two people in front of him.

"Okay, let my secretary talk to you about the specifics. Clement, I'll leave the rest of the coordination to you."

"Yes, boss."

Clement sat in Damon's seat, adjusted his glasses with two fingers, a gleam in his eyes.

"Okay, forget about them. I'll take you to enjoy your summer vacation."

Damon put his arm around Harry and led him out the door, not forgetting to take the letter he had sent him by owl.

Harry followed Damon out in a daze. The hot summer night wind blew on his face. The luxury car at the door had already started. The gasoline mixed with the breath of nature passed through his nostrils. He actually found a sense of security in this subtle smell.

Once I sat down in the carriage, all the sounds were blocked out by the sound of the door closing, and everything returned to silence.

Harry's heart also calmed down.

But at the same time, he had many more questions.

Why was Damon here? Why did that capable-looking middle-aged man call him Boss? Where did he get all that money? Where was he taking him?
"Ah—you have a lot of questions, don't you? Let's find a place to sit down and talk it over."

As the car started, the scenery outside the window changed rapidly. Harry was stunned for a moment, and hurriedly told Damon everything that had just happened - that elf named Dobby! It was very likely that it was still secretly watching everything!
As they talked, the silver Mercedes drove through a tunnel of oak trees in Surrey and stopped in front of a Tudor manor house.

The copper family crest on the doorplate was gilded into a cold silver by the moonlight, and it read Hufton Manor.

"Dobby the house-elf?" Daemon thought for a moment and said to the darkness, "Dobby, would you be willing to show yourself?"

No response.

Harry followed Damon into the manor worriedly, and then gradually forgot everything.

One exquisite dish after another was served on the table. Damon took him to taste the food that was said to be made by a Michelin chef, and then took out a huge nine-layer cake and sang a birthday song for him with the chorus of all the hotel service staff.

"So you still remember!"

Harry shed tears of surprise and silently made a wish with everyone's blessings. At this moment, he didn't even hope that Ron and Hermione would appear here.

Afterwards, Damon took him to the hot springs and enjoyed a massage that lasted for an hour and a half - Harry almost fell asleep because of the comfort.

All the fatigue and shock of the day were soothed away. Before closing the door, he heard Damon say that he would take him to visit Ron's house tomorrow.

"Aren't we sleeping in the same room?"

"Although I don't mind, I think you need to be alone. Good night, Harry."

crunch.

The door is closed.

Harry changed into a disposable robe and collapsed on the big bed in the hotel. He thought he would fall asleep quickly, but he couldn't sleep.

It turns out it was all a misunderstanding.

It's not that they didn't send him a letter, it was just intercepted by the house-elf Dobby. Why did it do that?
It said that it would be dangerous for me to go back to school, so it didn't let me go back to school. But Dumbledore and Damon were in the school, so what danger could there be?
Fortunately, Damon was here today, otherwise he would be dead.

By the way, although all the other letters were taken away by Dobby, there was still that letter that was suddenly thrown in through the window!
Harry sat up suddenly.
