The new book is currently featured on the front page of the Urban category, a very prominent position, indicating that after a fierce competition, it may be recommended by Sanjiang next. However, the word count has been reached, so I guess the possibility is not very high.

After a preview of the story, I personally found it quite fascinating. First, the introduction is excellent. The protagonist, Chen Li'an, is reborn in 1994 and has just received his art exam notice, preparing to audition for a film. He is very handsome, but his appearance nearly prevented him from getting the part during the audition. This is an art film about a performance artist. To fit the character, the protagonist finds an oil painter to model for him, allowing him to get to know him better, a relationship that lasts for over a month.

After a successful audition, he performed three different ways of dying: burial, ice burial, and cremation. This is a very extreme experiential performance method that really tests the actor's ability and level. During the filming, his outstanding appearance and figure deeply impressed an actress, and some unspeakable things happened between them at the end of their scene.

Afterwards, the protagonist began to receive some big dramas and met the most popular actresses of that era, those who are familiar to everyone, and some close stories also happened.

As can be seen above, the protagonist, due to his outstanding appearance, figure, and abilities, easily wins the favor of the female characters, and the speed of their seduction unfolds at an unimaginable speed. Many readers cannot stand such a plot because of the lack of details.

The pace of this book is a bit fast, lacking foreshadowing and growth process. The image of the protagonist is not prominent, and the sense of substitution is a bit poor. Because the plot advances too quickly, it leads to a more serious problem. It is too tedious and the plot is easy to collapse. It hasn't even been released yet, and the relationship is almost finished.

So I'm a bit worried it'll collapse, and soon. Hopefully, the author has taken note of this and doesn't let a good idea lose its original vision and become a human bulldozer. Also, the author's writing is quite good, much better than mine.
