Chapter 15 15 Reasons to Write Online Articles

Chapter 15 15. Ten Reasons to Write Online
Title: Ten Reasons to Write Online: Writing Novels is a Dead End, Come on If You're Brave

Recently, I have thought about some small issues regarding online writing, which I summarized as "Ten Reasons for Writing Online" to encourage all the failed authors.

Also, you may have noticed that my articles these days are often titled "Top Ten of So-and-so" or "Top Ten of So-and-so." The top ten here is sometimes an exact number, but sometimes an approximate number, haha~
First, there is the issue of platform selection.

The largest Chinese platform in China is Qidian Chinese Network, which has a large market share, many platinum and great writers, and a total of 750 million writers (the water content is comparable to Chen Dong's "The Holy Ruins".

It’s big because it’s strong!

There are complete assessment standards here, wages are never in arrears, and there are pleasing chapter reviews, book clubs, column circles, dot circles, activities, etc.

Some people may worry that genuine books are too expensive and cannot afford them. Thanks to the above activities, I haven't paid for books myself for more than a year.

Therefore, I personally think that novices should choose the largest and best platform to publish books.

Of course, the Toutiao platform is a new product, full of endless possibilities. Furthermore, its high attendance rate makes it well worth investing in.

Second, there is the issue of type selection.

Everyone knows that on Qidian, or the entire Internet, as far as male-oriented novels are concerned, fantasy and urban novels have the most readers and are easiest to achieve results.

However, risk and return are directly proportional, and the above two categories are also the most likely to fail.

Many people probably choose fantasy as their first book, because many types of online literature are actually derived from fantasy.

I have also written fantasy novels, but I haven’t even signed a contract.

Therefore, I personally think that if you are a novice who is really passionate about publishing books, you can publish in the above two categories. If you think you are a genius who can make a big splash, you can give it a try.

Otherwise, be prepared for failure.

Secondly, there is the issue of writing style.

Some people like simple writing, some like more literary writing, and some like to do research and use data to speak.

Different readers have different tastes; the same person has different tastes at different times.

When a new writer publishes a book, he or she should choose a book that suits his or her own writing or reading habits.

Never force yourself to do things that are impossible in pursuit of beautiful writing.

And don't let your excellent writing skills go to waste just for some mindless and exciting articles.

If your writing skills are really amazing and you feel that you can't make it in the male-oriented genre, you can try writing in the female-oriented genre, using carved small calligraphy to touch the soft hearts of female readers.

Again, the question of whether to cut or not.

A break from updating brings a moment of pleasure; a break from updating brings a constant pleasure!
The same goes for eunuchs!
This is true for flops and for great players too.

What is actually involved here is the issue of persistence.

Some people, if they can't sign a contract, give up. Some people, if they can't get over 100 orders on their first try, give up. Some people, if they can't ejaculate, give up.

Everyone has different requirements for themselves.

When a new author publishes a book, it is best to conceive a relatively complete story and try to write more.

At least you have to go through the beginning-development-climax-ending, which is a complete process. No matter what level of author you are, you have to go through it!
Only by experiencing this kind of pain early, especially Kevin's pain, can you temper yourself and make continuous progress.

Finally, the question of writing and thinking.

Some people say that their minds are full of stories and they have always wanted to write them, but they have not yet come up with a good idea.

This is what it means to think more and write less!

I have the world of the universe in my mind, so if I write it down, it will definitely be a failure.

There are also people who write desperately, and a book with tens of millions of words, but they don’t want to finish it.

This actually involves a water injection problem.

In fact, there is no book that requires ten million words to be fully described. It’s just that the author hasn’t written enough.

However, writing it down is much better than just thinking about it in your mind.

Because, through writing, you will discover many problems and find that those ideas sometimes seem imperfect and naive.

【to sum up】

I don’t like to instruct or teach others what to do, because I don’t like to be instructed or taught.

So, just think of me sharing some of my personal experiences.

【Serious book recommendation】

It is very necessary to recommend a more interesting book to everyone here.

"Return to 2006", author: Mu Zixin.

The book's language is relatively simple, and according to the author, it's fluent, which is the most important element of online writing. By rewriting the previous work, the protagonist avoids the censorship controversy of the era, and the topic and creative settings are relatively avant-garde, so he is confident that he can achieve good results.

And by reading this book, you can also fully understand how to go from being a failed author to becoming a great writer. Many of the details are very real and completely consistent with the development process of Qidian.

You can also watch it together with his previous work "Rebirth 2003".

Of course, you don't have to.

Why recommend this book again?
Because this book is a typical amateur novel, but it tells the mental journey of many failed authors.

It can be said that the author has artistically processed his own writing experience over the past decade into the form of a novel and presented it to his readers.

This is also the heartfelt words of an old loser.

If you are a novice publishing a book, you may want to read it more and think more about it.

As the author repeatedly emphasized in the book:
Writing novels is a dead end.
But after his rebirth, he still chose to write novels!

Known as "the lowest reborn person in history!"

I think the author just loves writing.
Writing is not easy, so cherish every moment!

I’m Cang Yiwei, and I’m here to endorse “The Devil of Collapse”!
