Chapter 379 375. Comments on "I Train the Boss Behind the Scenes"

Today I would like to recommend a behind-the-scenes novel to you.

"I Train the Boss Behind the Scenes", Yan ZK, Level 5 author.

Category: Fantasy-Eastern Fantasy.

【Introduction】

Demons, gods, monsters.

A spirit overlooking the world from the clouds, a person walking on the earth.

Zhao Li entered this dangerous era head-on and started straight from hell.

The only way out lies in his strange dream.

In order to survive, he had to embark on a path of materializing various bosses in his dreams, and then finding ways to capture people into his dreams and "cultivate" these people.

After being brutally trained by the bosses who had ravaged the Fourth Calamity, Zhao Li got what he wanted and released them with satisfaction.

Thus, the world discovered that new 'bosses' were born.

【Golden Ten Chapters】

Chapter One: First Entering This World. The protagonist, Zhao Li, overworked himself playing a game and died, traveling to a mysterious altar. Thousands of people were gathered around, apparently performing a mysterious ritual. A young man, roughly his own age, ascended the altar, only to have his heart blood drawn by an old man, leaving him collapsed on the platform. When it was the protagonist's turn, he suddenly went berserk and threatened the old man with a dagger.

Chapter Two: The Oldest Bloodthirsty Smear in History. The protagonist, coercing the old man, pushed the others aside and walked to the forest. There, a tall man appeared. With a single punch, he knocked him flying, landing beside the altar. The old shaman awoke, only to find the protagonist climbing onto the altar, overturning it, and crushing a bead.

Chapter 3: Power. The protagonist disrupts the tribe's sacred ritual, angering them. He was merely the chosen sacrifice, and no one expected him to resist. The tribe's prayers for divine protection will be postponed for another month. Meanwhile, the protagonist finds himself in a strange dimension.

Chapter 4: The Power of Memory. He saw memories of his past life and his current body in the stone scroll, and wondered if he could return to his own world if he took it. A guard approached, delivering food and then viciously stepped on him. Having already woken up, he could only endure the pain, like a tom cat.

Chapter 5: The True Usage. The protagonist once again enters a mysterious dimension, perhaps a dream, perhaps a spiritual one. He begins to learn combat techniques within, otherwise he will face the danger of sacrifice again in a month. This is his only remaining means of self-preservation. The bead has been sent to the Tiangan Kingdom.

Chapter 6, Ji Xin. Ji Xin misses the twelfth prince of the Tianqian Kingdom. His uncle, who lives in the frontier, sends him a pearl. While resting and dreaming, he enters the protagonist's mysterious dimension. Holding a scroll, the protagonist, like a deity, descends to earth, drawing upon the world's background from Ji Xin's memories and revealing legendary visions. Ji Xin directly addresses him as an immortal.

Chapter 7: The Power Gap. Despite assuming the identity of an immortal, the protagonist quickly calmed his composure, controlling his urge to learn the Ji Xin family's secret techniques. He demonstrated his ability to create objects from thin air, then assumed a feigned mastery. Learning that Ji Xin was frustrated with his poor martial arts, the protagonist conjured himself into a form of Nangong Gang, the clan's foremost expert, and challenged Ji Xin. However, he was instantly defeated by Ji Xin.

Chapter 8, Instructor Gu. The protagonist's top expert is instantly defeated by Ji Xin, leaving him somewhat bewildered. However, he quickly deciphers the reason and pledges to fight with all his might. The protagonist, forced to summon a giant spirit from the game, possesses a spiraling greatsword embedded in its chest. The giant spirit is named Instructor Gu by the protagonist.

Chapter 9: Today, I, Guda, will teach you a lesson. Guda, a towering figure, wields a powerful halberd, his techniques simple and uncomplicated. Even a formidable Ji Xin can only withstand three blows from Guda before being shattered into dust. After reuniting his body, the protagonist continues to deceive Ji Xin into believing he can defeat the giant spirit. Ji Xin, fearless and reckless, charges forward.

Chapter 10: I Just Touched It. Ji Xin repeatedly challenges the giant spirit until his spirit nears collapse, unable to focus his form any longer. The protagonist then learns the martial arts he seeks from Ji Xin. In reality, Ji Xin awakens, his fierce gaze frightening the maid. He goes to the martial arts arena to practice, but instead of practicing his swordsmanship, he focuses on his halberd. His path is about to go astray.

【Brief Comment】

Yan ZK, a level 5 author, has written "Touring the Ten Thousand Worlds", "I Have Many Masters" (excellent works), "Mini Game System", and "I Train the Boss Behind the Scenes" (excellent works).

This book is a bit hard to get into, mainly because it has a lot of foreshadowing. The beginning is quite exciting, though. The protagonist travels back in time and appears at the altar. Out of life and death, he kidnaps the shaman, is beaten away by the clan leader, and yet successfully disrupts the sacrifice.

While being imprisoned and tortured, he entered a mysterious space and practiced his skills. He accidentally summoned Ji Xin, who mistakenly thought he was an immortal. Through duels and teachings, he was deeply impressed by Ji Xin.

The protagonist summons powerful people many times, teaches skills, cultivates his own power, improves his abilities, avoids sacrifice, and transforms into a mysterious figure behind the scenes to train various big guys.

The setting of this book is somewhat similar to that of "Lord of Mysteries". Both characters are relatively weak, but they can train and cultivate their own confidants through the mysterious space, and slowly achieve their own glory in reality.

However, this book is set in the era of the witch clan, which has a bit of a primitive flavor. The reading experience is slightly better than "Lord of Mysteries". At least you don't have to remember those complicated names of people and places.

In short, this book is worth recommending. The author is a fairly mature and experienced author with a good reputation.

【Cang's Ramblings】

After reading this chapter, I found that I was not the only one who felt this way, saying that this book is similar to "Lord of Mysteries".

After all, the traitor often trains those two unnamed male and female admirers in the gray fog space.

Although they feel somewhat similar, they are actually quite different.

In particular, the author himself said that as the first BOSS, he had high hopes for the Giant Spirit.

I didn't check what game that was, but this chapter revealed it was Dark Souls.

The giant spirit seems to be very powerful, at least he is different from the big fool who was teased by Sun Wukong in "Journey to the West".

In fact, many online games of the Journey to the West type have divided the gods and great men in heaven into different levels.

It is quite different from the mythological systems of "Investiture of the Gods" and "Journey to the West".

As for "Journey to the West", I have never understood one thing. When Sun Wukong made trouble in the Heavenly Palace, apart from Erlang Shen who contributed, did the other gods just slack off?
On the journey to obtain Buddhist scriptures, Sun Wukong was too weak and could only fight some mountain goblins and monsters?
Therefore, the combat power system of Journey to the West is also very confusing and cannot withstand serious research.

With this explanation, "I Train the Boss Behind the Scenes" still seems to be a bit similar to "Lord of the Mysteries".

But it's not important.

Although the beginning of this book is a bit confusing, once you get into it you will find that it is actually a very good book.
